View 1 Replies View RelatedI have photoshop elements 11. People analyzer will not recognize people or allow me to tag people in my photos. It works with my older camera photos such as from my Nikon D300 but will not work with photos from my D800 (RAW).
View 10 Replies View RelatedI could attach a photo to a 'People' tag in PSE7, but the tag is v different in PSE 11.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a photo with one person in it and I want to keep that person in it. However this picture was taken with other people in it and I want to take them out of it but the only thing that I can think of is cloning. Is there another way?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from PSE 10 to PSE 11. I already used tags to identify People by name. However, in the new People View not all of my people tags are present as People Stacks despite running the face recognition function. If I use the Add People function it just runs the face recognition feature that I have already run and named the specific person I want to see in the stacks.Strange thing is when I click the Add Group button I can see the missing people but do not know how to get them shown in the People Stacks?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have about 11,000 pix in PSE 11 and growing, all of a large family. Using 'Add People" in organizer worked well up till I reached 9,000 pix. I get the msg that all faces have been tagged. I've been scanning about 300 pix from our old albums and always try to add people after each group. I am not even getting the "Is this a person" message. I can go to each batch and manually answer "Who is this? Database size problem??
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bough coreldraw x3 graphics suite, and I was wondering how to make the background transparent.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI can't find any preferences for changing the photo editing area background colour. I am not sure what it is called but what I am talking about is the space in the middle of the program where photos open up into (not the workspace option which changes the menu bar colours of which I am using the blue option.) At the moment the centre area is a charcoal colour. When I am editing a photo which is smaller than this space it is surrounded by this colour and it makes it hard for me to see the thin black border which I place around some photos. Can I change the colour of the editing area to white?
View 3 Replies View RelatedElements 7 out there. I need to modify the background on some photos. Such as blur, or block out a distracting item.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from PSE 9 to PSE 11 and have imported some pictures that I have tagged in another program. Importing tags for everything other than people works fine (already used tags are recognized and reused). But importing tags for people proved to be a problem. They did not merge automatically with my previous people tags in PSE. My imported people tags ar now placed under "Imported Keyword Tags" in the "Media" workspace. How do I merge or move them to the "People" work space where the people tags for PSE 11 is placed?
I also wonder why people and other tags are put in different places. Is it possible to view all keyword tags in one list/place?
I cannot get my photo to show up in Lightroom after editing in Elements 11. I did choose Elements Editor in prefs. In fact, I already got support from Adobe about this issue a month ago. It did work then
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy photo is great when I open or view it in any other application. Why does it look low quality in pse 11? Also when I make edits and save them as jpegs, they look great again outside of pse11.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter creating a photo collage using Create in PSE 11, I saved & closed it. When I try to open it in Expert editing mode, it will only open in Create. Advanced editing in Create doesn't work because it has no crop tool and the eyedropper tool does not work. How do I get my collage back into Expert mode (full) editing?

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I edit a photo the process doesn't complete itself. The edit in progress message stays on.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter editing a photo with PSE12 a red bar remains across the photo indicating edit in progress, only it never goes away.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am getting a one minute delay when I edit a photo and close out of editor to go back to organizer. I have a new macbook pro retina. Never had the problem on windows. The rest of the elements processes are very fast on this computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using PE10, and usually start with the "Quick Edit" tab to do a "Smart Fix" where I can select a desirable fix. Sometimes I additionally do Shadow adjustments and/or Highlight adjustments, but not much else. Then go to "Full" edits.
- "Enhance - Auto Contrast" does tonal corrections as I understand. However I usually see no difference after doing this. Is that because when I did the Smart Fix, it is essentially doing the Auto Contrast as one of its adjustments? If so, is it just a waste of time for me to do the Auto Contrast if I have previously done a Smart Fix?
- As the last step, I usually use "Enhance - Unsharp Mask" on my photos with Amount = 70, Radius = 2.0, and Threshold = 0. Are those reasonable numbers? I understand that beginners tend to over-sharpen their photos. I've played around with various values, and these numbers seem to have worked for me, but would just like other opinions since I don't have that professional eye as to what is a great photo. I make sure that I zoom in to print size or more when looking at the results of sharpening.
I have a group photo of some fellow co-workers and would like to add 2 other individuals that weren't in the group photo. When I add the 2 people to the group shot however it's clearly visible that they were photoshoped in because the coloring, saturation, etc of the individuals are different from the group shot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to print 200 profile cards (sized A6). There will be information about the individual along with a photograph. My questions are:
The photos are all 680 x 1024 at 72dpi - I'm sure these will print ok at A6....?All candidates are on a white background - some backgrounds look brighter than others - what's the best way to make it look whiter (photos will be cropped and placed on a white background) and is there a way to do this on mass?
I'm using Photoshop CS6.
How to edit out a whole person in a photo?
I am trying to edit out the person on the left in picture...
When I open Photoshop Elements 10 Editor to edit a text layer on a 511KB 412x292 psd photo the text layer is not shown. How do I open the text layer? How do I edit the text layer? How do I save the finished work product? The background layer is locked. I can't unlock it. I have tried any number of approaches none of which open the text layer for editing.
