I want to include basic B&W patterns to PSE11 and don't know how to do that. I found some called Basic_ Patterns_ by_Peter_plastic but I can't seem to get them work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got Elements 11 and when I put the card into my pc the download box pops up and it reads the card, but it does not see the raw files, only the jpg files. If I use windows explorer to view the card it sees the raw files fine. I can open raw files from the card into elements 11 editor fine. It just will not see the raw file in the downloader box. I had Elements 7 before 11 and it worked fine.
I have windows 7 and Elements 11 is updated to the latest version.

My photos reside on a external hard drive so it is not the default location. I want to create a file location and tell the program where to put the photos. View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create my own set of Patterns in a .pat file.It doesn't work as the instructions say.But with an immense amount of effort, going about it in a roundabout way to get past security nonsense and locked files that weren't locked, I managed to create a .pat file with my Patterns in the proper folder. I couldn't do this directly. Instead I added my Patterns to an existing .pat file with the idea of later deleting those that aren't mine and restoring the original .pat file to its original state.However, I can't load my .pat file or any other .pat file. That is, the Load function doesn't work, so I can't have my own Patterns in a .pat file that I can access.I've tried to load the ,.pat file using the Preset Manager, using Layer > New Fill Layer > Pattern, and using the Paint Bucket tool, but the selected .pat file doesn't get added to the list of .pat files that can be used. What is the Magic Word to get a .pat file to Load?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have beent trying to follow the instructions found at the URL below (second half of the video) in order to load custom patterns onto Elements 11. The video says I need to go to C:/ drive, then Users, then my folder, then AppData, then Adobe, then Photoshop Elements, Roaming, and Preset(s). However, the only program folder in the Adobe folder is for FlashPlayer. I have searched the entire computer, and while I can find the Photoshop Elements folder, it does not contain Roaming and/or Presets folders.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI opened Elements editor today, and found I could no longer add any text to a new image.
I start Elements, go to the editor, create a new image, then add text, and I cannot see the text at all. Things I have checked:
Various fonts
Various sizes
Various colors
Various opacities
Anti-alias on and off
Various styles (including none)
I've tried horizontal and vertical text
I've tried setting the background to various colors
Zoom level seems to make no difference
Doesn't matter if I create the new image with white or transparent background
When I try the Horizontal Mask tool, I get a message "No pixels were selected"
The layer names contain the text I typed into the image.
I've downloaded and installed it, but everytime I go to open/load the program, it says I don't have the admin privileges and that I have to log on to an admins account.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just started using PSE 11 Organizer and tried to add some of my pictures to People. I selected several photos in the Media Room and then clicked the Add people button. After a brief time, a dialog momentarily appeared and then immediatly closed and a ghost message appeared saying "No new people in your selection". I tried other different selections but all with the same result. I checked the People tab and there are no people listed there.

I cannot add media to existing albums if the tag panel is or has been open. I get an error message 'error applying keyword tags'. However, if I open a new album, then subsequently try to add media (or remove media) it works!
