View 6 RepliesI've been using Photoshop Elements 10 to edit raw .NEF files from my Nikon D3000 with no problems. Recently I purchased a Nikon D3200 and I shoot in raw .NEF files using that also but Photoshop Elements 10 will not recognize those .NEF files to edit. The error I'm getting is saying the file type is not correct.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having strange things go on with Paint Shop Pro. One, it stopped automatically recognizing the camera when I plug it in to upload new photos. Now I have to tell it to open the camera, and, even if I have 100 old photos and 25 new ones, it uploads all of them again! Second, the file names have changed for the photos. They've always been the date "20132713_*.jpg". Now it opens them as "001.jpg, or 002.jpg, etc. How can I get it to go back to opening with the date as the file name.....and recognizing the camera and automatically open new photos in the camera?

So after the trial period I can't use the program. Every other program on my computer that uses the Internet connects flawlessly.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to have a Nikon D600. When I first got it I didn't upgrade from PSE9 and consequently I processed quite a number of files in ViewNX 2.
On revisiting those files now that I have PSE11 (which works well with D800 files) PSE11 doesn't seem to recognize and when I go into the Editor and try to open one from there I get the following message: I had thought that PSE11 would work with the D600 NEF files - is this not the case?
I have the 7.3 converter, but that hasn't worked. When I go to import the files, it says they are not compatible.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop Elements 11, using WIndows 7 Operating System. I have a new camera Canon Rebel T5i, and having problem viewing images in raw format (cr2).Message in PE11, states, "Camera model not supported by installed version of Camera raw."
Canon software views images. Suspect my minimum camera raw plug in version does not support this new camera..I am unable to locate in the software any menu item that allows me to view the camera raw plug in version.
I have been using Architecture 2013 for a while now, but now there is what I beleve to be a configuration issue. Essentially, ACAD loads, but does not recognise any AEC components. The tool pallette no longer has an icon to add a wall, for example. If I load an older drawing that has a wall in it, and select the wall, the Properties window says it is a wall, but none of the blue grips is visible. Right clicking does not give the option to "Edit Wall Style" for example. It behaves as though it does not know what an Architecural element is. If it type "WALLADD" at the command line, it says ""Unknown Command".
The company I purchased it from initially had me do a "repair", then a "reinstall" and then a "Clean reinstall". All of which I have done.
my PSE11 was working fine until i bought a new camera and tried to upload photos from my RAW files. It gave me this message
"Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.Please visit the Camera Raw documentation for additional information."
so i tried to install the update.... installed it fine, kept getting the same message when i would try to open the photo. after researching online i found the suggestion of uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop elements. i did that once, tried the update again...same results. uninstalled again. tried the update again and still getting the same message. ive checked the adobe website and everywhere i look says the version of the camera raw DOES support my camera (nikon D7100).
After an, automatic, update to camera raw 7.3 in Photoshop Elements 11 all Camera Profiles are gone. All that is left is "Matrix". I use Elements 11, windows Vista on a 64-bit machine, my camera is a Nikon D7000.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIt said there were updates in PSE 10 (help/updates) for Application Manager and Camera Raw. I let it install both, I rebooted, and the ACR says 6.7 and not 7.3. It will not read my Canon 6D RAW files. When I check help/updates again, it says everything is up to date.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased PSE 11 which is what I needed for it to work with my Nikon D7100, also less than a year old. I have just purchased a Nikon D610 and it seems I need to downlaod Camera Raw 8.3 but it doesn't seem to work with PSE 11. When I check the adobe site it appears that I need PSE 12! How can this be when my software is less than one year old!! Is it adobe money grabbing again? Are there any plans to add support for RAW photos taken on the Nikon D610, which after all is only a very minor change to the Nikon D600, to PSE 11?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am currently running a Mac with OS 10.8.2 and have installed Adobe CS 5.5 Production Premium. Within Photoshop- Preferences- Performance, Photoshop is only recognising 2100MB of RAM, while my Computer has 16GB of RAM available. I have checked and according to the OS Finder, this 16GB is active.
I have also checked across other Adobe programs such as Adobe Premier and have confirmed that here it is also recognising the Available 16GB of RAM. Thus it is only in Photoshop that this is occurring. I have since deleted all of my preferences from both the user level and the hard drive but no recification. I have noticed a recent discussion which sounds very familiar, [URL]....
however this is on a windows based system and the last suggestion from a user was to a windows related issue and I am not sure that fixed the issue for them or not.
I installed plugins for CS6(64bit) in Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)/Additional Plug-ins and nothing! CS6 doesn't recognize it, namely "dofpro.8bf" and it's companion file "convert.exe". I have verified that the above path is in the preferences of CS6 for additional plugins.
I then copied the files to Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)/Plug-ins!
I have looked all over and cannot find any other places to install the files.
The instructions for the DOF Pro software said to simply copy the two files into the folder where CS6 has it's plug-ins. I don't know why CS6 is not displaying the DOF Pro filter option in the Filter drop down menu.
I am running Windows 7 Home 64bit and it is fully up to date.
Apologies if this has been dealt with before but a quick search hasn't revealed anything. Downloaded Elements 10 Editor from the Apple App Store and have been using it without problems.
Have just updated my EOS5 to an EOS5D Mk.III, downloaded the latest RAW Plug-in but I keep getting an error message saying this update is "not for me". The work around is to covert files to dng and then open but this creates lots more files. So in a nutshell how do I update the RAW converter?
Ive tried the dng download but it did nothing in putting the new raw 8.3 into my Photoshop elements 11. How do I do it manually? Ive just bought a Canon 70D and now cant read the raw files.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have read in numerous articles that I can open jpg files in ACR from within Elements 11. They all state to go File>Open, then browse to the jpg you wish to open, select Camera Raw from the file type and select the jpg. When I select the Camera Raw file type then all the jpg images disappear in the selection area or if I click the jpg first and then select Camera Raw and open then it says file not found. Am I doing this wrong or are the articles I am reading incorrect?
