View 3 Replies View RelatedI have Photoshop Elements 10 on my Mac and my PC. I have several catalogs on an external harddrive with older photos. I have tried to get my Elements on my Mac to read those catologs. However, it gives me a message that the catologs are in a older format and need to be upgraded or damaged and need to be repaired. I ran the repair utiity on the catologs using Elements on my PC and it found nothing wrong. My PC version can open the files without any issues. Both versions of Elements are the exact same. I installed them both the same day from the same CD set (Elements 10 came with both PC and Mac versions).

View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing PSE9 on 2 PCs. Files are stored locally on each, and updates synced via Windows Mesh.
1) Add tag to jpg on PC1 using PSE.
2) Execute PSE "write to file" command before closing app
3) Confirm on PC2 via Windows Explorer that tag info is updated on local file
4) Open PSE on PC2, bur additional tag info is not recognized by PSE.
5) Tried to re-import test files in PSE using "Get Files" function, but tag data was still not read by PSE.
6) Manually added new tag to tag list, reloaded PSE, but new tag info still not read on file.
7) Ran Optimize and Repair catalog functions, but problem persisits.
How do I get PSE to read tag info on updated jpg files without rebuilding the entire catalog every time I edit a file?
I am unable to read teh NEF files from my Nikon D600 in Elements 9, I have tried installing patches to get this working.

I then tried installing a trial of Elements 11 but still no joy.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom 5.3, Camera Raw 8.3. Yesterday, I was able to import Fujifilm X-E2 files into Lr 5.3. But today (01.01.2014) I get the error message that the files cannot be read.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just purchased lightroom 5 and I'm having problems importing my files. I first detected the problem with my CR2 files.
Â
After investigating I found this person with the exact same issue: [URL] ....managed to fix the problem by changing the prefrence file as indicated here: Preference and other file locations in Lightroom 5

Now I'm trying to import my RAF files (Fuji x100) and I'm getting the exact same issue.
I'm on OSX latest version... 4.4 still will not import Fuji X100S .raf files?
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen connecting a Fuji FinePix SL1000 to LR 5.3, I cant see the preview pics of the .raf files. So it's quite hard to figure out which ones have already been imported or are not worth to be imported. When I connect my EOS 6D I can see the Thumbnails of the .cr2 files. Is there anything that needs to be configured in order to show the previews?

Will there be an upgrade for Lightroom 3 or Lightroom 4 to allow direct processing of RAW files from FUJI PRO X-1 camera ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a student who is unable to import her .RAF files into LR5, or view them in Bridge (or even in finder for that matter). She is able to open them in PS6 as RAW, but that's it. I've checked for LR5 updates but it says it's up to date. What else could I try?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to LR 5 and when i import files for a Fuji X100S it just hangs and hangs. I have to kill LR and restart. Files for my canon 5d mkii are no problem, import easily. Is there a patch or an update I am missing? i have version 5.3
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I tried to export several (say 15) Fuji X-Trans files at the same time, I got a "Not Enough Memory" Error. This problem only occurred after after upgrading to Lightroom 4.4. I can now only export a few (3-5) X-Trans files at the same time.
Â
I am using Windows 7 32-bit with 4GB memory, SSD System drive, and Radeon 7700 Graphics card. For Virtual memory, I set "no paging file" on C drive and "system managed size" on another SSD drive.
I have a Fuji X-e1 and the latest update of LR 4.4 running on 10.6.8, 16GB RAM, all OS software up to date.
Â
The problem is my Fuji RAW files don't show the correct lens profile in the Develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X100 (which I've never owned or shot). The metadata in the Library module is correct for both the lens and camera, and also shows correctly in Bridge.
Â
However, with the same software on a friend's Macbook Pro -- also 10.6.8, LR 4.4, etc. -- the lens profile correctly allows for the X-e1 and 18mm lens auto-correction.
Â
I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstaller called Zap It, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same 'error'.

What do I need to do to open my RAW files from my Canon 5DMk3 into PS CS6?Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedCS 6 currently won't read CR2 RAW Files from the new Canon 6D. Camera Raw 7.3 won't see it. The reader that came with the camera leaves something to be desired even though you can shift the results over to PS (as a .tiff file). I run a Mac running under Mac OS 10.7

View 12 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded Photoshop from CS2 to CS4 (11.0.1). If I use CS4 to save a large multi-layered Photoshop .psd file as .tif (Layer/Flatten image/Discard hidden layers), (File/Save as .tif, LZW, Interleaved, IBM PC) the resultant .tif file cannot be read by many other programs. File viewers (Faststone, MS Paint, QT Picture Viewer, Windows Photo Gallery) either fail to display the images, display the images incorrectly, or display a black screen. Neat Image fails to open the files due to incorrect bit depth.  (Faststone shows the bit depth as 40 bits). PTLens fails to open the files with the dialog "Only RBG images are supported". This has become a significant problem, since I routinely distribute images to others as .tif files. Similar Photoshop CS2 saved .tif files open with all the above viewers/programs with no problems. (no longer have CS2 installed)

A printing press I want to go to says they only accept Mac Photoshop files in .EPS format.
This message comes up when I try to import to light room. A box comes up that says "Import Results" then the error message shows with a group of file numbers that wouldn't import.Â
