View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm a begiiner in Photoshop and I can't figure out how do you draw a circle without color filling. It should be possible, but I can't find it in settings.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSometimes I can't draw with any color other than grey
I'll see green (for example) as my foreground color. However, when I apply it, it turns out as grey
I can open up other files and the colors work perfectly. It is exclusive to this file. I pened this file in Ms Paint and it will only paint grey on this file as well.
Is the file corrupt or is this a form of copyright protection?
I want to take a color wheel and draw straight lines on top of it, and using the blending tool or some other tool, I'd want to be able to have those lines take on the colors from the color wheel underneath. Is there a way to do this, or a way to do something like it?

How to draw filled region boundary lines that show up in any color other than gray? it is hard to distinguish the lines I am drawing from the lines that are already there while creating or modifing a boundary. Can I change the color of the Invisible Line (can't find that line modify)? OR does every line created thru manage line style have to have a weight (am I able to make a zero line weight or even a pattern that shows nothing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am fairly new to Illustrator. I am trying to trace an image using the brush tool. I can get some lines in and for some reason the brush tool begins to revert to fill none effectively just making invisible lines. I have the parent image on its separate layer and the line art on another layer. Layers are unlocked. When I use the brush it will look as if it is deleting/erasing what is shown on both layers. The brush tool is effectively erasing what is there already instead of drawing.
I tried searching for a couple days now and the best I could find is this: [URL] ...
I tried everything mentioned in the thread and it still isn't working. In fact I think the OP in that thread never really solved his issue too. I can barely even get my line art down.
Is there a way to apply a color to selected objects without having to search for the color in the color palette. So say if I am working with an image that has multiple colors but want to use only one of the colors in that image, is there a way to apply it without having to create or add it to the palette.

The Line Tool in Photoshop CS6 is radically different from that in PSCS5. I have used Photoshop almost daily for years, yet I haven't been able to figure this out.

And other steps ...

I've been working on making a picture for a podcast some guys and I are working on, and this is what I've got so far:
I don't like the way the leaf looks, all I did was dodge and burn a little. how I could get a good leaf texture? For something like this, I wouldn't think ultra-realistic would look right either, but something better than what I've done.
i've had this problem with my photoshop CS for a long time now, and have not been able to find anything in the photoshop help section, nor google that explains it or can tell me how to fix it. for some reason, when i try to use the brush tool NOTHING happens. alternatively if i switch to the pen tool, i can draw fine! then i switch back to brushes and nothing. it's not a layer thing, because i can open a brand new blank white window and try to draw on it and it won't work. i've made sure that i'm not drawing white on white (duh), and it's just odd that the pencil would work but brushes won't.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been working with Photoshop cs2. And I've been following this Photoshop tutorial ebook, and one tutorial the author ask's to create a new file/image. Then to pick the pen tool and click on any spot outside the box/image and start a line path outside then draw in. I cant click anywhere outside the box the pen wont write outside. ONly inside.
I've tried everthing, crl, shift, alt..etc.. Am I not clicking on a tab, or somthing to make this not work? Am I using wrong Photoshop??
I search a function to automate this process (look at the picture below for an example) :
- I have a picture with a lot of black pixels
- I would like to group all black pixels which are separated by less than "X" pixels, to draw a continuous surface.
Maybe with Extend Script ?
