View 1 Replieshow do I add height (say 200px) to an image without distorting what I already have on the canvas? Whenever I add an additional 200px, everything stretches. How can I just add 200px of extra white/blank space to the canvas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to export an image of a certain width and height but when I click on export, the size doesn't remain the same. I try to change it back to the normal size but it's impossible as one number gets altered if I change the other.
I have tried with the "maintain aspect ratio" option checked and also unchecked. This has never happened before, I've always been able to export with the exact size I want, although very often I find the width and height change when I click on export but I have been able to change it back until now.
I 'm attaching images through c# using lisp _image and sendcommand in a predefined rectangle.
how can I specify width and height of the image so the image is exactly placed inside the area that I want?
(scale is not a good option because as image ratio changes scale must also change).
Clicking on any of the 26 letters of the alphabet, I display the 15 logos starting with the first brand whose initial is the clicked letter.
Logos have different dimensions, but I fail recovering them, so that they are displayed stretched or squeezed, retaining the width and height of the first 15 logos put on stage in the Edge source.
Both of the two console.log in the following code produce w= 0 h = 0 :
- just after assigning the src attribute ;
- in the callback function of the load.
$('.letter').on('click', function()
{
// swap the 15 logo images
[Code].....
I need to have a pic finish at (width-3072 and height- 2048 pixels). When I click on file>new I put in those dimensions, but when I am done with pic and I export it, the picture shrinks to very small. The only way around this is to maximize the image in Gimp to 100% and use my snipping tool to outline the image, then "save as". This will save it large, but not the size I need.
My brothers and I took some pics and I added a couple things in one of mine, to try to fake them out. If the size of THAT image is way different than the rest, the fake out will not work. I normally use Faststone to re-size my images but it will not re-size my Gimp images.
Is there a definitive list of functions, arguments, parameters etc?
I'm specifically trying to access image width and height and the number of items in the action node.
(SelectedOrder.count or something...)
I want to specify a selection, is there a way to do that, or to show what pixel number you are on in Photoshop 7.0? I have an image that is 200w X 127h. I am going to be slicing this into two different images. My top image needs to be 200w X 91h and the lower 200w X 36h.

Is there a way I can make these appear in pixels?
I want to write the words HAPPY and BIRTHDAY underneath each other so that the word HAPPY takes up the the same width as the word BIRTHDAY. I also want to make the HAPPY twice as tall as the word BIRTHDAY.
Do I need to adjust the spacing and/or width for each individual letter? I'm guessing I can make the HAPPY taller by some kind of stretching tool?
I need to change the width and height of some text i'm inputting to and image so that the height is 100% and the width is 75% in ariel size 11, how do i do it? I cannot find the answer on google,
also, the phrase capitalized, is this some special setting or does it just mean write in capitals
I am trying to create an action for watermarking. However, I would like to be able to size my logo to be a specific % of the entire canvas size, i.e. 20% width to be a part of my action so that the logo is always proportional to the image size.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm making an action that I'm going to batch apply to a lot of images.
However I've hit a snag, I need to resize a layer with variable width/height to fit within a certain width/height while constraining ratios. Say I need a layer to be a maximum of 1000px high OR a maximum of 2000px wide, whichever comes first. I need the layers to either increase or decrease in size to fit the "frame".
In PS5, if I start with a picture 5184 x 3456, I could crop a picture to be 2100 by 1500 by setting these parameters in the crop tool. No matter whether I decided to make a big crop or a small crop, my final image was always 2100 x 1500.
In PS6, however, I don't think the crop tool parameters work the same way. If I set the crop parameters to 2100 by 1500, my final crop is NOT 2100 by 1500, but rather my final crop is whatever original pixels I selected.
What is the EASIEST way to accomplish a final crop of 2100 x 1500 on PS6?
when I select teh elliptical marque tool,
the width and height measurements are greyed out so that i cannot input anything?
I am creating a photo gallery for the web. I will store the very large original images, a large version to fit in the browser window and a thumbnail.
I am creating these using Photoshop Actions and a batch process.
The problem is for the large images I want the maximum width of the images to be 575px and the maximum height to be 525px.
This means that if the image is portrait it will be sized based on its height, but if it is landscape it will be resized based on its width. (I want to resize it proportionally obviously).
Can I make it do this in photoshop?
At the moment some images are either coming out too long or too tall.

I am having is that if the original image is smaller than what I want the large images to be then I dont want it to make it bigger.
I am using Photoshop CS[/EDIT]
I'm using photoshop elements 2.0 and window vista. when i want to crop i cannot enter any values in the width and height boxes. the cursor won't enter. same thing with resolution.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi've managed to layer a scanned drawing (and edit it and all) over the given template... but when i drag it over, it's HUGE. so of course, i haev to decrease the size so it fits on the t shirt template...
and when i decrease the size, it gets grainy and pixilated... and i can't have that happen! especially on a t shirt design... it's supposed to be a a solid, single line...
I made a huge mistake when I began my latest design project. I made it too large. Now, I need some help to decrease the size. Even if the quality of the image will get alot worse. The file is huge so I can't use the "Save for web.." option. So, pleae help me. How do I decrease the the image quality and thus the file size?
View 6 Replies View RelatedSuppose I have a rectangle 10 x 8 and then I join the middle points of the widths with a line ... so I will end up with 2 boxes of 5 x 8. Now what I need to do is to stretch the side by 2 units to become 12 by 8 but I want the middle line to move automatically during the stretching process so I end up with two boxes of 6 x 8.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhere is the option to control page width & height so that you can make both even measurements? I typically get something like w 1920.4px & h 1080px. When I try to change the width to 1920 the height adjusts as well. I know there is a simple fix for this but I can't find it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am a professional web developer and I have been trying to do something for a while, well thats not quiet true I have achieved this but I cannot believe its as complex as it appears to be. I want to create CSS Sprite pages, I have looked at the graphic library with its buttons and to be honest they are great but I cannot get over how you can split the mouse over images from the static none roll over images within the layers section.
Just finally can I set a snap grid with a width and height so for example I want a grid of width 100 and height say 35? again to aid in me creating CSS Sprite pages.
I have two different images. Both are set at Height and Width: 7 by 10.5 inches. However, whenever I view them, the one is always bigger than the other one. Does this have something to do with the pixel dimensions? I see that the pixel dimensions of the one is much larger.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn a training video on Illustrator cs6 a device is shown as follows, as the instructor manually resizes an Artboard using the Artboard tool:
Justin, the instructor, calls the little box that immediately shows width/height a "width and height box" but searching on that term is not productive. When I run the program the device is not available, not does the video explain what option makes it available or what might have changed on my particular copy to obscure or disable the box. While I know I can get the same effect by choosing the Info window, and can even adjust the parameters more precisely using the control panel bar, I would like to have the convenience of this box.
I note that in the same video series (from Lynda.com) the same type of display device is shown when the instructor resizes a graphic. After some 30 minutes of Google searches and searching for the identity of this device and how to enable it I come up empty.. Can Lightroom constrain images to a fixed pixel width regardless of height and orientation?
None of the options in the image sizing dialog seem to be suitable; for instance constraining the "long edge" would work for horizontal images but not for vertical ones.
How can I resize panoramics so they are all the same width and height? I need uniform sizing to run across a website page in Flash.
