Photoshop :: Creating Clouds For A Trade Show Graphic
Jan 8, 2013
I need to create a slightly cloudy background for a trade show graphic. On a small scale, the Filter > Render > Clouds trick works fine. But when I do this on a huge scale... it's not so cute (see attached). Is there a way to create "clouds" on a large scale?
Im wanting to recreate a cloud vector from a stock image site. Unfortunately i'm rubbish with vectors and have no use making anything like this version.
I would like to convert many xyz files, representing point clouds, to the isd files. I have found some dll's dealing with point clouds' objects (see bellow), however I could not find any supporting documentation.
Some sample code in VB.NET or direct me to some useful resources?
These dll's are, in my opinion, related to Point Clouds:
I am making revision clouds on some record drawings. They come out all peachy, but when I save the file and reopen it, all of the wonderful little clouds change to jagged straight lines.
I am laying out a portrait collage with four openings for photos. Is there an established way to apply a frame to each that has the appearance of a beveled mat?
How I could create a magnifying glass graphic using Adobe Photoshop? I did do a search but it mostly came up with instructions or info on how to create one that'll also actually have a "magnifying" or "glassy" look to it.
While just I want to create a simple one, just containing a circle and an handle attached to it. Kinda like the following:
[URL].........
And in case you're wondering why I don't use the above, I'd like to create one with my own colors.
I have Photoshop 7, FlashMX & FireworksMX available to me.
I am trying to create a graphic that appears as a semi-transparent canvas (about 300 x 200 pixels) upon which some solid text and images are overlaid,
How do I create such a graphic?
What file format can such a graphic be saved as? i.e. can the layers be merged or not?
Can such an image be exported into FlashMX?
Ultimately I want these images (there will be many slightly different versions of this basic design) forming info panels that will pop-up in an interactive FlashMX Movie. The pop up will be triggered by a roll-over.
I just have a question for the more experienced users - Since I'm fairly new to Photoshop and graphic design in general, I haven't yet purchased a drawing tablet for my PC. My question is: Is it really worth it to use a tablet over a mouse? If so, which is the recommended brand/model?
I want to create a creative graphic chart in Illustrator and place it into Word. the catch is that the client -- who doesn't use Illustrator -- wants to update it later. Is that a possibility? If not directly in Illustrator is there another app which would would play nicely with Word?
I need to put a Trade Make (TM) in a title. I cannot figure out how to do it? I choose Wingding font? or just what? The Wingding font option did not seem to work?
I have an awesome photo .......except that there was a spotlight pointing in my direction as I took it. The result is a glare. Otherwise the pic is a classic chiaroscuro cityscape.
I know it cannot be totally removed, but is there a way its effect can be reduced almost unnoticeably. I tried -Adjustments: brightness/contrast- but reducing either just created a grey blot with a distinct "border".
Is there another PAINT.NET trick of the trade similar to "redeye removal" that can disguise these glares please, because I am sure this comes up quite often?
so photoshop totally disappointed me yesterday, i spent HRS creating a graphic and i went to save it to PNG, it said i could only save it as a copy; so i clicked ok....my graphic wasn't saved AT ALL!...what am i doing wrong???
ive got a red sock and a white sock, and i want to place the colors black red yellow onto the red sock, so that it looks as realistic as poissible. problem is that i cant get the structure of the sock onto the new colors (i tried diffrent blending modes, displace).
Is there a way to insert a Ai graphic into msWord and the graphic text still be searchable in msWord? I would like the text in my Ai graphic to be searchable once the graphic is inserted in msWord. I have tried different Ai exports, but all come into msWord as pictures. Is there a way to keep the Text Layer in my Ai file searchable in msWord.
I have recently purchased a new Mac and have come to find out that my Photoshop that i had on my PC no longer works. I tried to do a cross-platform upgrade, but because i purchased it on ebay they will not allow me too. I am wondering if anyone out there is in my situation but vice versa and would like to trade. I will show pictures of the box and anything you need for proof.
How do I paste a graphic over an existing graphic on a header? and how do I determine the amount of pixels to be covered and the amount of pixels in the graphic I am wanting to use?
Before, when I created lines or shapes in illustrator a small window would show the size of whatever I was creating. Now it does not show up and what the size is of the shape or line.
Ribbon has been acting strange. One example is when creating a sweep the ribbon will not show the mode options to accept or discard changes while creating the sweep path. I have to cycle the ribbon display options to show the X and check options to complete the sweep path. This is only one example of many different odd things happening.
Sometimes when I am simply drawing model lines the selection options for rectangle, circle etc do not appear until I cycle the ribbon display options. This only started in the last week or two.
I know you can render clouds to your hearts delight... but are there any tutorials on how create realistic clouds, like cumulus, etc... I'm thinking of figuring it out and writing them myself if no one else has.
I have an image of clouds, I need the clouds to basically just have the white area showing and the darker areas to be transparent. Then I'm going to import it into illustrator --
I have a night-sky picture with a moon. I would like to make clouds on it, which would look really realistic, in dark parts they should be hardly visible or better said they should be dark, but they should be more bright over the moon. The moon shouldn't be covered whole. Can anybody help me with this? How to make such clouds?
