I need to validate my CS6. I have a new computer with windows 7. My original photoshop is CS2 which I have updated to CS4 and now CS6. The new computer doesn't accepted CS2 is there any way I can validate CS6 on it.
View 1 RepliesI use Safari version 10.7.5.When I tried to use Photoshop for the first time I received a message that my computer does not have the minimum 512 MB of vRAM and that updating the driver of my graphics card may resolve the issue.
I went to the Adobe site and downloaded Retail_256.02.25f1v1.dmg, but the message still appears.
I am using original discs with serial number stickers for CS3 extended and CS4 on a 2008 MBP with 10.8.
Problem1:
While still having CS3 installed, and reinstalling CS4, the correct serial # request of pre upgrade version CS3 was repeatedly rejected. So I removed everything Adobe from HD, ran Adobe cleaner which found nothing.
Problem 2:
Now I am unable to install CS3 as I get "problem with installation, contact Adobe" message.I manually removed everything Adobe related from HD to no avail.
Camstudio's mp4 files are not accepted by Videostudio Pro X6 yet, they play well on other players.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add an audio file to a slideshow but Lightroom keeps not recognizing my file as song.
I extracted the audio from a footage that I made with my DSLR (Canon Rebel T4i). I first used VLC encapsuling in WAVE but Lightroom didn't accepted the mp3 file created. I tried to convert to a mp3 file using Format Factory and Media Converter but it didn't work either. Is there any specific encoding for audio files to be accepted as a song on Slideshow module ?
I was working on a project and went to change to a different font and all that was there are the last 6 or so that I used. When I go to the drop down menu It doesn't show any other fonts. I know there are a lot of fonts in the computer but cannot get them on the program.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWe are using SQL Server to store our map data, inside tables that contain non-spatial data. I noticed a couple of things;
(1) Fields in SQL with the "date" data type do not show up in the Map 3D schema. Does Map only accept "datetime"? What do you do if the client only wants to see the date?
(2) Fields in SQL using the "geography" data type become "geometry" data types in Map. Perhaps this isn't a problem. We would like to store lat/long and easting/northing data. Do I need to create separate columns for this or is all this data stored in a single column using the "geometry" data type?
I have CS5 installed on a desktop computer that crashed and I can't get it working to deactivate CS5. I am going to purchase a new desktop and would like to install CS5 on the new computer, but it was already installed on two computers (desktop and laptop) so no activations are left. I have the Disk and serial number.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Master Collection CS5.5 with all the latest patches on an iMac 27" (mid 2010) with 16 GB Ram, 2.93 GHz Core i7. When I worked in Photoshop, always after 2-4 minutes I got immediately a blank screen and the iMac was powered off. Someone in the thread said, that's always if you work with a resolution of 300 dpi. I remembered, that this was the first time, I used 300dpi, because normally I work only with 72 to 150 dpi. So I opened a new file with 150dpi and I could do the whole work WITHOUT crashes!
I also think that this is normally a memory problem with bad RAM, but WHY is it only triggered with 300dpi? I will do a Test also with 400dpi so I know, I can only work to 299 dpi, or I can only NOT wort WITH 300dpi.
I have exhausted the disk space on my MacBook Pro and need to purchase a model with more space. Can I move my CS6 to the new computer, and if so, how should I do so?

In the past, when upgrading to a new computer, I could deactivate Photoshop through the help menu. Photoshop CC no longer shows that option, and since only two copies are allowed at once, I’m at a loss as to how to retire the copy I have now and switch the account to the new computer in such a way that Adobe can verify I have done so. I also have both Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 on another computer.

I wish to activate on my new i Mac, but the program believes I still have installed on two previous computers.
