I want to upgrade to ACR 7.3. When I select help > updates, I get the message: "The update server is not responding. The server might be offline temporarily, or the internet or firewall settings may be incorrect." I could update Lightroom to 4.3 flawlessly. I use Avast Antivirus, but when I disable Avast it doesn't work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSeveral features in Photoshop CS6 are greyed out for no reason I can tell, including Content-Aware Fill. I've noticed my Camera Raw plugin is outdated, but when I try to update it through Photoshop I always get the above message. Updates obtained directly from the Adobe website don't seem to include plugins. Is there a way to either make the server respond or obtain the updated plugin from another source? Am I even on the right track for enabling Content-Aware Fill?

I checked firewalls and IE settings - both seem ok. I downloaded the latest update plugin but I get a message that mine is newer (and bigger) than it.

How can I download the Camera Raw 8.2 update? I'm using a Windows 7-64bit machine.
I tried downloading the CR 7.1 update which came to me as a zip file.But when I try to open it, there are a number of various files, none of which are an .exe file. which file do I use and what folder do I insert this file into? Shouldn't it automatically open and load in the correct folder?I'm not a programmer, just a user.
my PSE11 was working fine until i bought a new camera and tried to upload photos from my RAW files. It gave me this message
"Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.Please visit the Camera Raw documentation for additional information."
so i tried to install the update.... installed it fine, kept getting the same message when i would try to open the photo. after researching online i found the suggestion of uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop elements. i did that once, tried the update again...same results. uninstalled again. tried the update again and still getting the same message. ive checked the adobe website and everywhere i look says the version of the camera raw DOES support my camera (nikon D7100).
After an, automatic, update to camera raw 7.3 in Photoshop Elements 11 all Camera Profiles are gone. All that is left is "Matrix". I use Elements 11, windows Vista on a 64-bit machine, my camera is a Nikon D7000.

Adobe server is offline or unavailable to enabe me to download update/ I have downloaded a trial version of CS6 and of course raw works perfectly. The Adobe server has not benn able to open for about 3 weeks now. I turn off my firewall settings beforehand.

I have enabled all the recommended programs through my firewall. I see the dynamiclink server is running in my task manager, I have closed all other programs, no antivirus, I have restarted my computer, no luck with this.
Also to add additional information:
It seems that when I try to do replace with After Effects composition in Premiere Pro I am getting error: The importer reported a generic error
and also when I first launch After effects I am getting a failure to load a few plugins from CineForm including importer

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a fully licensed version of CS6, along with LR 4.x. LR updated to Camera Raw 7.2 about a week ago. PS CS6 (extended 64) will not find the update. It is a pain in my sitter every time I go to edit a photo to see a warning.
I do not want to hide the warning though. I want the update. Adobe has about an hour wait time for technical support. A reinstall is not something I would like to do.
Trying to upload camera raw update for photoshop CS5 and the installer asks me to close the Bridge, I do this and press continue and the installer asks me to close bridge again, even though its closed...Need this update to recognise my a65 camera.

Used download for Raw/DNG 8.2 and went through the steps to download successful. When I check the plugin status on PS it is still on ver. 6.7.1.399.
