I have a picture of something that I am trying to read a number off of it in the picture. The background is black and the text is white, but I cant make out what it says. Is there a way I can enhance the image to be able to read the text?
I have an image with very small text on it I want to see what the text says but when i zoom in and try to sharpen the image, I on see pixels. Is there any way to read this small text using photoshop?
Im having issues when plotting a PDF. Im plotting using the DWG to PDF.pc3. The text in the CAD file looks awesome, clean and crisp. When I send it out to a PDF and I cant read the text.  Its being plotted at custom paper size - 72x72 as requested. A PDF is attached.Â
I would like to create a block that has an attribute that will always read left to right no matter which method used to rotate the block itself. I know this can be done attaching a rotate parameter to the block and not the attribute, but i want it to also work when using the rotate command.
I am creating a block that has a single letter included with it. I will need to rotate this block depending on the position within my plan, but I want to keep the label upright and able to be read left to right. I can't seem to find a way to set this preference, does it exist? Or is there a round-about way of doing it? Don't tell me I have to make separate blocks, each oriented a different way to the text stays upright..
I've tried the following: resVel = window.document.getElementById("txtVel").value; Â this normally works in javascript, but crashes when using that line in the actions for a trigger.
I'm trying to read a text file into a textFrame. It reads in but is not including linefeeds so it's just one big long line of text. I'm using the following code to read the file. I attempted to insert a character after each readln() but that didn't work. I also tried creating a variable that the readln() was stuffed into before setting the textFrame.contents to the variable, but that didn't work either. I'm stumped.  while (! notesDoc.eof) { noteTextRef.contents += notesDoc.readln();}
We need to put a text field (email address) and be able to read the contents. I already have the code to send the email, I just need to get the value the user puts in as well as allow the user to enter data.
I got a new work and get it done in the next 2 days, but first I need to do this... from a text file (or excel file, I got both) I got 3 columns, 1 one for node number, and 2 other for X and Y coordinates for each node.
So from that file I need to insert into autocad the node numbers as text (using the current style and height) at the point specified by the other two columns, that are the X,Y coordinates which will be the insertion point of text..
Several times a week I need to take a PDF (single-page doc), then convertto a page-sized PNG with quality good enough to read the text (and atransparent border), and then convert to a SWF. I have a PNG-to-SWFutility, but when I used it on the PNG saved after I opened my PDF andexported from GIMP, the end result was not good enough. A co-worker saidGIMP couldn't make a PNG (w/transparency) with enough quality. He said we'dhave to use some other software. Part of the issue was not being able toresize without losing quality before the PNG export. True or false?
im trying to render text as chrome but am having a difficult time... ive been playing around with the layer styles and this is what i have so far. how can i make this read as chrome and not so white?
My computer is installed 4GB ram, it's running on Windows XP pro SP3(32bit version, My computer properties show 3GB physical memory). However, in the photoshop memory usage(Edit>>preference>>performance) show available RAM is 1678MB only.
What's problem occur? How can I using more memory?
I am using CS3 to make files for a online game. Is there a way in photoshop to make the files read only? So other gamers can not open and edit the file but the game can still read the file?
I realize my PS cs3 is outdated and I only have a G5 power pc tiger - but my PS worked beautifully until around the time I loaded in an Epson NX625 and its extras.
Now PS keeps crashing at startup. Only PS; my Bridge and others don't.
I have totally uninstalled and reinstalled. I removed all and any related folders that didn't get removed on the uninstall. It still keeps crashing on startup. The opening box comes up starts going through its stuff and then shuts down and a crash report gets generated. It is the same report each time.
I have upgraded my PC to windows 8, and now Font size is about size 2 - I can not read the font, this is a huge problem. HUGE.
I have managed to get Microsoft help via phone, they suggest reducing the screen resolution, but this makes everything BLURRY, so that is not an option when working with Graphics.
i have downloaded the trial version to test ps.when i click save it exits Photoshop..and after about 15 minutes a error comes up and it says "memory could not read"
Why does the eyedropper not read all layers? If I have an adjustment layer above the one I'm reading the eyedropper does not take that into it's reading like it did in PS 5.0
CS 6 currently won't read CR2 RAW Files from the new Canon 6D. Camera Raw 7.3 won't see it. The reader that came with the camera leaves something to be desired even though you can shift the results over to PS (as a .tiff file). I run a Mac running under Mac OS 10.7
I recently upgraded Photoshop from CS2 to CS4 (11.0.1). If I use CS4 to save a large multi-layered Photoshop .psd file as .tif (Layer/Flatten image/Discard hidden layers), (File/Save as .tif, LZW, Interleaved, IBM PC) the resultant .tif file cannot be read by many other programs. File viewers (Faststone, MS Paint, QT Picture Viewer, Windows Photo Gallery) either fail to display the images, display the images incorrectly, or display a black screen. Neat Image fails to open the files due to incorrect bit depth.  (Faststone shows the bit depth as 40 bits). PTLens fails to open the files with the dialog "Only RBG images are supported". This has become a significant problem, since I routinely distribute images to others as .tif files. Similar Photoshop CS2 saved .tif files open with all the above viewers/programs with no problems. (no longer have CS2 installed)
i had CS3 running fine for as long as i can remember.. (on winxp pro sp3 32bit)
then all of a sudden today when i try to start it.. it opens and the splash screen comes up, then when it gets to 'initializing palettes' i get an error that says etc etc memory cannot be read...
i uninstalled, ran the cleaner, deleted all cs3 folders in docs&settings.. reinstalled.. same problem ...
