I created my logo, powerclipped a darker image of the wood inside, created an embossing effect with a lighter and darker version offset from the main logo. Now I would like to "roughen" it up a bit to look more natural - following the woodgrain, and more "burnt in".

Nov 1, 2005Have any of you ever designed ur own t-shirt?
I looked around on the internet for professionally printed shirts(those are the same as iron on right?) and noticed that all the colors they used, it tends to be a little powdery looking, so I was guessing maybe that kind of colors look better in contrast with the shirts.
What I'm thinking of doing is just make the design's lineart on paper, scan, and color with photoshop. then preview and print on the transfer paper.

Mar 15, 2007I have set of imagery in tiff format. For each of the images i have information such as coordinates where it was taken. This is in a text file.
The images are quite large. Like 800mb each.
What i am doing at this point is :
I open each image, copy the details from the text file and paste it inside the image and also I add my company logo. Then i resize it and reduce the size to a suitable one like 40 mb for printing.
What i was wondering if there is a possibility that this can be automated? Like a script or a program that will read from the text file the details, place them inside the image, put the logo in the appropriate place and resize.

What are some must have plug ins to make lettering into metals? I keep trying the tutorials but I think I need to start all over (how humbling). Some instructions come with an assumption that I thought.. err... assumed.. I had retained.

Apr 25, 2011Im currently trying to draw a layout for a simple angle iron part using the front, side, and angled view. Its a flat part made of sheetmetal and it will get 1 90* bend in it.
My first question is how do i bend a part in autocad LT 2011? Ive been using autocad for years but ive never had a request for an angled view.
My second question is how would i create a layout using all 3 views and include the info block in the bottom right displaying all the info?

Jun 10, 2008when I browse image files I find that the Photoshop/Adobe logo has been replaced by the Netscape logo. When I attach a file in email the N-scape logo is there by file name/number not Photoshop logo. Anyone know why or have this issue?

Feb 4, 2012He wants me to have the completed logo in .ai version and a .EPS..why would they want them saved like this- why wouldnt just a PSD and JPEG be ok?
Secondly, I see that .ai is Adobe Illustrator- what does this allow someone to do, that they wouldn't be able to do on photoshop.
I have the ability to save as EPS, as well as many others, but not .ai. However, I see there is an ability under 'File', to 'Export to Illustrator'. If I was to do this, would this save it as an .ai file that would suit my 'client'.

Jan 29, 2003Im tryin to make a logo for a web site into a vector graphic that i can use with the custom shape tool. I've read at the adobe web site how to do it but there is one catch. When you paste it it says to set it to paste on a new shape layer. I cant seem to make it create a shape layer, only a new one. Can somebody enlighten me?
