View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to create an effect on my image where the image is ripped from behind and the ripped pieces are turned to the front like the power that ripped the material came from behind.
An example would be AC/DC Razors Edge album cover.
I found some tutorials but they are just for ripped paper. I want to be able to turn those ripped edges anywhere I want like real paper or some other material in real life.
Almost every time I make changes to a photo and go to save them it reverts back to the original after I update the name.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a bit confused about the round trip process. If LR is non-destructive, what happens when a virtual copy photo is sent to Photoshop? I notice that Photoshop seems to be working on the original photo.
How then is photo routed back to LR for further editing? Does LR track editis made in PS?
Prior to replacemant of the mother board I did a backup of photos and data. But to start Lightroom again I had to reinstall Lightroom into the new hard drive.
Have got the photo files back and the list of keywords but they are not with the photos.
How can I restore the 2 or 3 keywords I had previously to each of the photos?

My Happy Ending UPDATED by =Delta909 on deviantART
I'm new to this board and would like to know the question about how to make a photo that is reduced to besmooth and sharpen, actually sort of digital filter effect like imagemagick can do. I need that for resizing adult images and made them to be attractive not rough.
actually I have bulk actions when I'm doing this procedure and only do these things: reduce image from example around 900x600 to 180x120 and then I just do filter - sharpen - sharpen. It's nothing special comparing to this photo
How Can I create the same "Red Lens" effect of the left photo to the plain beach photo on the right?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI really like the effect produced in this image + several others by the same photographer. I have tried producing similar effect with no success.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've seen this type of effect used on photos, mostly for fashion ads, and how its done. Possibly, it has to do with lighting during the photo shoot itself. But it seems to me that there is also a significant deal of processing in Photoshop.
Mostly what interests me is that quality that retains a photographic look, while at the same time gives the image a somewhat plastic and unrealistic feel to it.
I tried to attach a sample image which shows exactly what I'm talking about... but it seems that since I'm new here I can't include links until I have at least 5 posts under my belt. You can see the image if you look here: [URL] ....
What filters and effects have been applied to this photo to get the slightly faded and grainy look?
