Paint.NET :: Multi-Save (save Each Layer As Image)
Oct 8, 2010! would assume that something like this has been made but i cant for the life of me find it when shall i find a plugin or default way of doing this i have about 50 layers that need saving as an image each and the idea of doing it by hand scares me.

Mar 8, 2013If I load a large image (say 5400 px sq.) in Paint.net (or similar) & choose a zoom level where I like the look / size of individual elements, in ONE area. Image is still no where near 100%.
I select a rectangle so the ACTUAL size of rectangle_AND the way the selection looks AT THAT ZOOM level, is what I want. Say, to use as Fx header background.
Problem I've had: Because the image I initially cropped wasn't at 100%, when crop it - the PHYSICAL size of the rectangle may be 1920 x 180 px, but the prgm still thinks / knows it's really 3500 x 450 (or such), at 40% zoom. I can't just save the image - as it looks on screen - & it be that size when reopen it.
I DON'T want to resize / resample it, because (sometimes) that changes the current look (size of certain elements in the image). The only way I've found (gotta be another way) is take a screen shot of the cropped image, at it's CURRENT zoom level. Then it will save as a 1920 x 180 px image, NOT as a 3500 x 450 px image that was at reduced zoom.
If I resize & save at a REDUCED %, it can change the look & size of elements. Every thing I've tried to save the image - at it's PHYSICAL size on screen - say 18.5 in. x 1.75 in. (when image is NOT @ 100% zoom), results in saving a much larger image. I understand this, but looking for a way around it. Used various settings & tried to trick the apps many ways - cropping in one app, copying to another - you name it.

Nov 16, 2012i failed to find one which would change string of a text to other for all types of objects. I mean it was usually either only multitext, or only text, dimensions or attributes.creating one which would change in abt 200 drawings:

to:

-00003
in attributes, text, multittext, leaders, multileaders, dimensions..... at the same moment?
It is meant to be used in ScriptPro (by loading lisp in script).
If not possible, then can also open each file and run the lisp in each of them - still would save lot of time.
Paint Shop Pro :: How To Save RAW (CR2) Image
Aug 25, 2012A client sent me four images taken with his Canon camera - they are in Canon Raw (.CR2) file format. I can't get them to open and then save them as a .jpg or a .pspimage format in either PSP9 or in X3. In X3, when I click on the pic, it brings up the "Canon RAW Lab" dialogue box, showing a black and white image but with a deep pinkish cast to it. And there is no options to save it. What do I do from here?

Jun 13, 2013I have an image, whose outline is well defined, which I am preparing for laser cutting/engraving. I am trying to find a quick and easy way of creating a cutting path around the edges of the image. Tracing in Corel Draw is not good enough. PhotoPaint will convert the mask to a path but it is not well defined. I can easily create an accurate mask with Paint Shop Pro, and even fill it with black colour, but that is as far as I can get. I have tried pasting as a new image but there is an undeleteable and unmoveable layer created which stops the image being visible. Instead of crisp black image I just get a blank white square.

Oct 23, 2013I used to be able to save a layered image as an .apng file [and set the delay time etc], which I would then convert to a gif using apng2gif. I found that the quality was turned out better than the other ways I've used to try and make gifs, and it seemed easier.
Anyway the other day I had to format my laptop and as a result all the programs were uninstalled. When I re-installed Paint.net I found that I couldn't save images as .apng anymore.
As far as I can remember the only changes I made to Paint.net were downloading some pyrochild effects.

Aug 29, 2012A digi image, cropped (crop tool), resized (resample), and saved (save as). Everything on 'default' (usual settings for this) or as I would like. Close and re-open, the image shows as the cropped image, but the thumbnail is the original.
I bought a new camera card today, having run out of settings to try. Took a pic, copied over, and it cropped and saved fine. So I went back to those taken yesterday, still full image thumbnail. Took new ones on new card, but full image thumbnails. Recropped the original photo that saved earlier today with cropped thumbnail - the full image is now in its thumbnail.

Oct 3, 2011I've been looking for a solution to remove the unit string ie Lbs, g, kg from the value given from a 'Mass' value in a text string.
As you may all know, creating text and having a 'physical property - mass' value...the unit string is there...
Lots of people on here have the problem...no-one has got a solution.
Until now...
Basically...open the part you need to get the mass property of in your text string.
Follow the instructions on this webpage...this is the first part...

Basically, this creates a Mass property value in the parameters table that you can call on as a text parameter.
It's similar to the custom iproperty model - mass but NOT the same.
Once you have done this, you can go to the drawing of the part and create a text string in the drawing and call it up as shown in this procedure. BUT it still has the unit string.
Here's the best bit that you want to know...
To get RID of the unit string...open up the part again from the drawing...click on the parameter icon...find the user parameter...in the Nominal value column, right click on the value and you get a pop-up that gives you 3 options...
Custom Property Format, Make Multi Value & Delete Parameter.
Click on Custom Property Format.
The pop-up window comes up...showing you the property type...in my case...the 4 left columns read Text, g (grams), Format & Precision...
On the right hand side I have a Preview of the text...then 3 check boxes...Units string, Leading Zero's, Trailing Zero's.
Units string is checked.
Uncheck it.
Close it...Save your part...go back to the drawing and hey presto!...the text now shows the weight you require as a straight value...no units!

Feb 28, 2013Till X3 Photo-Paint opened and saved transparent PNGs as a seperate image with attached mask.Example:I have an image and load a B/W mask into it.
When I save this as PNG and reload it in X3, Photo-Paint displays again exactly what I have just saved:
However when I open this same PNG in X6, the image and mask get merged into a single object:
It's in effect doing automatically a "create object from selection" function and discards then the background.Why? I can't work with the full background image anymore, because the transparent parts are missing, and the mask is also gone. Is there no way to open the full PNG, without any merging and deleting of masks, just the way X3 was doing it?Also, the only way to save a transparent PNG in X6 is to check "save only selected objects"? When I don't check this, but still check "transparency" in the PNG export dialogue, then the mask won't be saved nonetheless.

Mar 11, 2013Trying to edit and save this file fails silently, because Photo-PAINT does get confused by a file name like this: "filename.morename.extension". Nothing gets saved.
The actual file name taken from my example file is: "Flag_of_Germany.svg.png".

Number two on my list behind your fantastic new layer functionality that I had been dreaming about for three years. I NEVER close PDN. The ONLY time it closes is once every week or two when the 20, 30, 50 tabs that I have open, finally overwhelm my system. I bounce back and forth so much that there is no way to continuously save them as I make changes cause it would jack up my workflow by taking up too much time.
No way around it, this is just how I work. It would be lovely if PDN was able to, similar to After Effects, popup an error box saying it was about to crash and did 'you" want to save the session. Especially, now, with 4, as while it is a super duper version upgrade, the crashes were daily, with me, and I couldn't keep losing that much data. Sophie's choice, for me. The old layer window or daily crashes.

It just does nothing, when I choose to save a file under "something.cpt". It works, as long as it is a JPG, but not as a CPT. I am working on a Win7, with CorelX5 in german. Support told me to reinstall.

Jul 19, 2012I have an action in which it will place an image onto an image like a watermark, when i place the image, it is not center by center so i drag it or use keyboard arrows to center and then press enter, then i saw its on the center, but when i save it, the saved image is not on the center, how was that?
you can see that the right side of border it is not centered because the left side border is thicker than right side, here is the part of the action
you can see that i move the image after i place it because its not on the center so adjusting it makes it at the center but the Translate part is not equal.

May 12, 2009A while back I took a Photoshop class and remember a lesson on where you could select a region of an image and save it for the web with a high quality and select another region of the same image and save it for the web with a low quality, so that the focal point was saved with a high quality and the background was saved with a low quality. I have no idea where my notes are from this class and can not remember at all how to do this. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial about this?

I tried copying a dupe for a second layer to see if that worked but nix. i still have x4 and i do it there. but what's with x6? all the other tools work but the paint brush.
