i have been trying all night to get some olive (drk green colored shadows) for a grunge look on my photos. i tryed tone curves and split toning but can't seem to get anything brown or dark olive green. i am trying to leave me photo a colored photo.

We have color replacer. We want it to do this automactically with a static group of colors everytime without any manual maniplulation required.
When using the spot tool, often it is very difficult to see when it is against anything light colored in the picture. So is there a key to touch that might change the cursor to red or some color when needed?

View 12 Replies View RelatedMany times my raw images are left with what can only be described as a "haze" over them. It is not a lens deal, it is something I'm not doing in the raw conversion process because .jpegs don't have it albeit .jpegs have their other weaknesses. Sometimes the black slider will remove the haze, but many times I'm left with too many areas that are dark. I think it is a contrast issue, but I really stuggle getting rid of the haze and keep a sharp contrasty image without adding more deep shadows to the image.

I'd like to make a content box with a stroke/border that uses a color or gradient of some sort but also adds texture to give it a subtle metallic textured feel.

It seems to have a graident but also a cloudy/textured feel to the stroke.
I m trying to create a colored circle but every time Im filling the circle with color is not properly filled. It is like becoming glow at the edges, something that I do not want. How to fill it correctly. I assume that is a setting needs to be adjusted but I cant find it.

On screen it looks correct but when I print it, it comes out with a tan colored background. I've tried both a large scale plotter and a small color laser printer and get the same result.

Having just updated ACR to ver 6.7 (6.7.0.339) I am surprised to find that the colored fringe removal tool in the Lens Correction palette has disappeared. All that there is now is Transform, Lens Vignetting and the relatively useless Defringe.
I thought updates were supposed to provide enhancements, not remove things. What else has been taken away?
I use this tool a lot and would like to get it back. If it has been replaced with something supposedly better, then what and where is it? Have I missed something?
I would like to create a printable document that would allow a text message to be hidden by a red textured top layer until viewed with "decoder" red glasses. Any help in creating this or pointing me in the direction of a sample that could be broken down and the hidden text edited would be appreciated.
