View 11 RepliesRunning Lightroom 4.3 on my Mac, I have my D600 set to shoot using "Camera Neutral" profile. However, upon import into LR, for some reason, it changes to "Adobe Standard" profile. I can change it to camera neutral, but it's difficult.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm an amateur moving up to LR 3 and have been trying to learn this program by reading the LR3 book by Scott Kelby. He shows that the Camera Calibration feature has some settings for specific cameras yet the drop down menu has none listed. I've upgraded to 3.6 and the images were copied from raw to DNG.

View 2 Replies View RelatedCan Nikon's P7700 NRW files work in PSE7, using some plug-in, or something? I love PSE7 and do not want to upgrade (used PSE11 few times on frieds computer, and did not like it at all).
So far I've been convering files using Nikon's ViewNx2 to TIFF - which work OK, but Camera RAW on PSE7 would be better and easier (and faster) to use, then normal editor, which I have to use with TIFFs.
I'm using Lightroom 4, currently waiting to upgrade to 4.4. However, I'm having a problem not finding any of my lens profiles listed in the lens correction control panel. If I check the box, "Enable Profile Corrections" and then select from the "Lens Profile" dropdown menu, I get a list of only six available lens brands: Apple, Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Sony, and Tamron. This is odd, because when I view the package contents for the software under Package Contents > Contents > Plugins > Resources > Lens Profiles - ALL the lenses that I use (Pentax) ARE listed there. Why then will they not show up in the interface of the actual software when running?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am relatively new to Lightroom. I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3. When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard. My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to tether the camera to Lightroom3 to no avail. I am operating under windows 64 bit edition and using the Nikon D90 with a usb cord. The lightroom version I am using is 3.6. I have downloaded other programs and shot tethering fine but they don't have the features Lightroom has to offer so they fall short. Windows also detects the camera itself but lightroom does not. The Nikon plugin is also on.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am a mac user with 10.7 OS. I recently upgraded to LR5.3 and thought to try out the tethered shooting feature with my Nikon D300. In the ‘Tethered Capture Settings’ window it shows the naming format as a DNG file. I only import image files in their native ‘NEF’ format though I am aware of the advantages of ‘DNG’ files.Anyway I noticed the captured images were named as ‘nef’ files with its standard sidecar xmp file. Note the lower case lettering for 'nef'. I am not able to import these files to my external HD because these images were grayed out in the Import window. However if I changed the format names to upper casing, NEF, these images are visible for import.
How can I avoid the extra step of having to the change the casing of the letters and have the captured images in the tethered shoot all have the correct upper casing instead?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have Lightroom 3 version 3.6 installed on my MacBook. I just upgraded to OS X10.8.2. Now when I try to import raw images from my Nikon D3100 camera I get images to preview but after I select images to import and then select "import" I receive error messages and then a notice that there are no images to import. The import function then totally shuts down.
I also just downloaded the most current version of Java Run. How do I fix this problem?
I've spent hours trying to figure this out, but to no avail. I'm running LR 4.3. I have a Nikon D600 but am not able to see any profiles for it at the following path: C:ProgramDataAdobeCameraRawCameraProfiles. It is my understanding that the D600 is now fully supported, yet I don't have the profiles for it in the Profiles folder (or anywhere else for that matter). What am I missing? Where are the D600 profiles?

Is there any way Lightroom 5 can save the information from my Nikon Cameras RAW file.
When I open my RAW files in Lightroom 5 all my camera settings are not saved.
Is there some way around this.
This is incredibly frustrating to have a $2,000+ camera that cannot connect to Lightroom. It really impacts the value of both Lightroom and my camera if they don't talk to each other.

Is it possible to eliminate the Profile listed in the title are? I prefer to view the path in the title area. Sometimes the path can be fairly long and characters get cut off. If I could eliminate the current profile from being listed here, I could view more of the path. See attached.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am an underwater photographer and white balance is an important issue. I was advised to set the white balance in my camera (Nikon D90) to the color temp of my strobes ( 4800 K) so my subject lighted by by strobes would have the correct color. When I import the RAW (NEF) file into lightroom I would expect that the color temp shown in develop mode would be 4800 K.
Unfortunately it is not. It even differs from picture to picture. I would like to know why and if something can be done about this?
