Jun 29, 2013Well, I use normally Bridge CS4 (that was included in Elements 8) to organize my pics and to edit or open in camera raw of Elements 11. I normaly shot in raw format with my Nikon d90. Now I shoted some pics with the new Nikon D7100 and I can't use Bridge CS4. I tried to update but Bridge doesn't work. So now I'm obliged to use Elements 11 organizer. Any possibility to update Bridge CS4?

After first import from Nikon 7000, received message that raw files of this camera are not compatible with my LR. Feb 1, 2012I am trying to tether the camera to Lightroom3 to no avail. I am operating under windows 64 bit edition and using the Nikon D90 with a usb cord. The lightroom version I am using is 3.6. I have downloaded other programs and shot tethering fine but they don't have the features Lightroom has to offer so they fall short. Windows also detects the camera itself but lightroom does not. The Nikon plugin is also on.

Feb 3, 2014I am a mac user with 10.7 OS. I recently upgraded to LR5.3 and thought to try out the tethered shooting feature with my Nikon D300. In the ‘Tethered Capture Settings’ window it shows the naming format as a DNG file. I only import image files in their native ‘NEF’ format though I am aware of the advantages of ‘DNG’ files.Anyway I noticed the captured images were named as ‘nef’ files with its standard sidecar xmp file. Note the lower case lettering for 'nef'. I am not able to import these files to my external HD because these images were grayed out in the Import window. However if I changed the format names to upper casing, NEF, these images are visible for import.
How can I avoid the extra step of having to the change the casing of the letters and have the captured images in the tethered shoot all have the correct upper casing instead?
Lightroom :: How To Import Raw Images From Nikon D3100 Camera
Feb 2, 2013I have Lightroom 3 version 3.6 installed on my MacBook. I just upgraded to OS X10.8.2. Now when I try to import raw images from my Nikon D3100 camera I get images to preview but after I select images to import and then select "import" I receive error messages and then a notice that there are no images to import. The import function then totally shuts down.
I also just downloaded the most current version of Java Run. How do I fix this problem?

Mar 22, 2013I've spent hours trying to figure this out, but to no avail. I'm running LR 4.3. I have a Nikon D600 but am not able to see any profiles for it at the following path: C:ProgramDataAdobeCameraRawCameraProfiles. It is my understanding that the D600 is now fully supported, yet I don't have the profiles for it in the Profiles folder (or anywhere else for that matter). What am I missing? Where are the D600 profiles?

Jul 14, 2012I am an underwater photographer and white balance is an important issue. I was advised to set the white balance in my camera (Nikon D90) to the color temp of my strobes ( 4800 K) so my subject lighted by by strobes would have the correct color. When I import the RAW (NEF) file into lightroom I would expect that the color temp shown in develop mode would be 4800 K.
Unfortunately it is not. It even differs from picture to picture. I would like to know why and if something can be done about this?

Does CS4 see your scanners?
The scanner will load up separately and I can still scan but it won't import into photoshop cs4.....

I took multiple exposures in-camera in RAW and they appear fine on the back of my camera, and in the finder window on my Mac, but when uploaded and viewed through Bridge and Photoshop the images are monochromatic RED in color. I have contacted Nikon and they say they can not guarantee compatibility with 3rd party software. No amount of editing, that I have found, returns the colors to where they should be (NOT RED).
