In addition to Lightroom 4.4, I have both Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop C6 on my main computer. When I am in lightroom and I want to export to HDR using photoshop Lightroom alwas defaults to Photoshop CS6. Is there any way to make lightroom default to Photoshop CS5 for HDR merging. Or is there any way to change the default to Lightroom CS5.

I need to set the scale, size and linetype of the viewport. When I've tried, the viewport has simply not changed. I'm afraid im not getting the current viewport. I open the layer and click on the text. As soon as I click, I get a new text field, and if I write something, a new text-layer opens. The old one is untouchable. What can I do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running on LR 5.3, but this problem persisted in LR 5.2. Working in PS CS6 and Camera Raw 8.3. RAWs are NEFs from a Nikon D600.
I can't figure out what happened but suddenly I am not getting prompts when moving from LR to PS to "Edit Original" or "Edit a Copy".
I reset all dialog warnings and nothing. The prompt will appear for TIFFs but not for NEFs.
It's kind of pointless to not be able to choose to edit an original or copy with LR adjustments for a RAW when they are the file types that retain my RAW editing information.
Plus, when I do click on a NEF and choose to edit in PS without the prompt (it will appear with lightroom adjustments, not as original), it will open a second icon for photoshop on my dock, and prompt me to continue trial? I have a version of PS installed with the serial plugged in, and in LR "edit in PS" for a TIFF will open this primary version.
I have a very small document (image) I want to use the Liquify filter on but its goes so small while in the Liquify edit window It is really tough to get to what I need to see,My question is ,Is there away to increase the edit or preview window size or is it locked to default?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen editing the properties for the title block on each sheet of my drawing, I've become rather annoyed with the default column width of the Value column. It always opens to the same width no matter how many times I change it. Every time I edit something in the title block, I have to resize this column to see everything I'm editing.
Any way to change the default width it opens at?

I just started using 2012. Two problems:
1- Somehow, in my current drawing, everything is layer-locked. There are no Xrefs in this very basic drawing. All layers are unlocked. Yet, any attempt to select any entities results in "x objects were on a locked layer". Again, all layers are unlocked. No Xrefs. No blocks. Just simple lines. All entities appear faded. This happened after viewing a layout in both paper and model spaces. Reviewing the text window shows no strange accidental commands.
2- There is a default set of viewport scales in the status bar at the bottom right. Default scales are all metric. I would like both metric and imperial. I see you can edit which exact scales are in a metric list, and which are in an imperial list. But how do you set what is displayed/available in the status bar button?
I am trying to access the edit original (edit with) option to edit a photo that has not been edited yet. I right click and go through the edit menu and does not appear or is not available? Would I have to reopen it manual in photoshop or is there a way around this to access that setting? it sometimes does not appear on my already edited photos.
I would prefer not to open each photo again, as some files i do not have and were imported into the document with another computer.
My Lightroom 4 reset itself last night to the original - all customization, presets I created and purchased, all images are gone.

I don't see a way to create a macro or a preset that would step straight into a directory holding new images. When i go to define external editor in LR4 (version 4.1), it lists Photoshop in the top section but I cannot select it as my external editor when I use "Edit In". It also doesn't link when I select PSE as the "additional" external editor. But I'd prefer it worked as the default because I want to use Topaz as my "additional" external editor.
I am only allowed to choose an additional external editior, not the default external editor. I have looked all over for a way to re-point LR4 to PSE 10.

2.Can I change the default location? I would like to keep the backup on an external drive
3. If I can not change the back up location or Lr must do the backup,can I copy/paste the Catalog I want to keep to my external drive.
In the slideshow module of Lightroom 5.3, whenever I select a music file it becomes the default for all other slideshows. Didn't have this problem in Lightroom 3.x. Is there a way to over-ride this so that each collection can have its own music track?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm buying a lot of presets from designers and also create a lot by my own. So not to loose the overview I want to delete those which I don't need. For example all the default ones (Lightroom Effect Presets, Lightroom Video Presets...). I tried to delete the template folder in finder, but then it shows an error at the next startup. If I just delete the subfolders, then the folders within Lightroom still appear on the panel, just the presets within are gone.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhere I can change what my default photo editor to what I want. Each time I plug anything that MIGHT have a photo on it activates LR3 causing me to wait until it fully launches and then I have to cancel the import process and then go to file and exit.
My LR3 window is a little two large for the screen and I can't see the red X or the min. button or any other options. I also can't see/find the tools that should show up on the left side of the window. The screen resolution is set an the recommended for my computer and all other programs, but I guess I haven't tried to change it to resolve this issue.
