Is there a way to automate the publishing of Lightroom folders as Revel albums? I'd like to create albums from my folders in Lightroom without having to select photos from each folder, create a new Revel album, and re-type the Lightroom folder title as the Revel album title. I just want Revel albums with the same names as my Lightroom folders.

How do you auto sync from Photoshop 11 to Revel. I just upgraded and had this set up on the previous version, but I do not see how to do this with 11. Also, how do you sync albums to Revel?

I have a ton of folders in one folder. inside each folder are a bunch of TIF files. I want to create an action to run as a batch to open that TIF, convert it to JPG then save in a separate folder with the same name in another folder. Basically im duplicating what I have in one folder to another folder with one being the original TIFs and the new set being JPG, all in folders of the same names.
Basically I know how to do all of this except when I set up the batch, it seems to only allow the new JPGs to be saved in a single folder. It can pull all the TIFs using the "include subfolders" in the source section but only places the new/revised file into a single folder.
To make things easier to understand, I'll explain what I do: our sports' photography department makes photos of several sports teams, we print the photos, we put them in a basic two-sheeted album, and then send the photos to the team. As we print all the photos together, they are on a big pile and it's very difficult to sort them with the correct team name. So we take the printed photo, and compare it to all the team photos on the computer, which have the team name in the file name. So this is a very inefficient and slow process.
I was thinking of printing the photos as thumbnails on a sheet, and THEN compare them to the printed sports' photos. It's a lot easier to have a piece of paper with e.g. 10 photos to compare to than browse them on a computer.
So, again, I hope there's a way to let Photoshop put 10 thumbnails on a single sheet, and put the file name below it. All automatically (with an action?) of course.
Now that the Revel publishing service is built into Lightroom 4.1, what is happening when I publish a large take of raw files? Does Lightroom first render jpgs, upload the jpgs to Revel and then snyc those back to lightrooms raw files? I don't want addition jpgs in my lightroom catalog, but im ok with having jpg versions of the raw file on Revel.
I would actually like to do this for my entire raw archive. Storing that many fullsize jpgs online for $5.99 a month isnt that bad.
Can I have a category album, then an album, then a third step down of sub-albums within the album for, say, grouping separately different ports of call when cruising? My (very old) PhotoshopElements could do this but unfortunately was not compatible with my new Windows 8 pc so I had to get Elements 12.

From time to time some of the photos belong to more of one smart group. that wasn't any problem until the last 3 or 4 weeks. LR just showed an infobox saying that i will upload a newer version from a photo that is already in my Revel Album. But now LR does not export any photo if it is already in another album. because changes on certain photos will not be updated any more. it is really frustrating that adobe changed this feature because Revel (what i already pay for) becomes almost useless for me. Organizing the photos into Albums in Revel is no option, because i have them already organized in LR.

Starting yesterday, I'm having a problem with creating new smart published collections to publish to my revel account. After I enter the filter criteria for the collection and hit "create" I get a "An error occurred while attempting to create a new album." message. I've tried authorizing and reauthorizing my account without any success. I had no problems the last time I created a collection last week, so I'm wondering if it's a server type issue rather than something on my side.

I am trying to map each Category and Collection in Smugmug to a similar Published Smart Collection in Revel using the rules so that when I add a photo into one of my collections in Smugmug it will populate to similar Revel Smart Collection.
In Smugmug I have a category "Portfolio" with a collection "Dogs". There are 75 photos in this collection.
I create a Revel Publish service for a library "Portfolio".
Now I go to the left sidebar and for this Revel service, I create a new Published Smart Collection. I title it "Dogs". I set the rule to Publish Collection starts with Dogs. The result is over 400 photos selected.
What appears to happen is that any Published Collection with the word Dogs in it is being used, even though the name of the published collection is for example "Our Dogs" or "Example Dogs".
The rule "Starts with" does not seem to work.
I have Lightroom 4.2. Last month, I created an Album. 2 weeks ago, I created another album.
Is it possible to merge the two together?
I have over 3000 pictures in Elements 11. They are in many different albums. When I installed Lr5 , the album titles appeared in Lr5, but most of them are empty with no photos. Only a few albums have photos. All of them are incomplete, and in a few situations the images don't belong to that album.
I should note my operating system is a Mac 10.8.
I tried Command key to select several images, then dragging the photos to targeted folder.

So here's my situation. I'm editing a music video. I'm editing with Final Cut Pro, but I want to use filters from Photoshop. So I export every frames of my video in JPEG format and I add effects to each frame using Photoshop. I created an action to apply the CUTOUT filter on all my frames using batch automation. But here is my problem : everytime I start the process, the JPEG Options dialog opens up. I need to click "OK" on each frame for it to save to JPEG ! It seems the "Ok" to that dialog cannot be recorded by Photoshop's actions... Am I doing something wrong ? Is there a way I could automate this dialog so that I don't have to click "OK" for every single one of the 7000 frames I'm working on?
