I am creating a mockup of a mobile phone operating system, and need to display a clock in the top right corner. Is there anyway to have the phone recieve real time updates through the computer, or internet's time?

How can I specify to load also animation 1 or animation 2 ?
I have an animation in Edge, and I'm trying to make a button that can play the timeline for a specified amount of time and then stop, without the aid of labels. So, I figured if i set the button to sym.getSymbol("mysymbol").play(500); it would make the timeline of that symbol play for 500 milliseconds each time the button is clicked, but it is not working, as this makes the whole thing simply start playing at 500ms. So I then tried adding a stop action after this:
sym.getSymbol("mysymbol").play();
sym.getSymbol("mysymbol").stop(500);
But this didn't work, because I guess since these events are one after the other, it doesn't wait 500 seconds to stop, and it reads stop(500) immediately after the play instruction, so that didn't work either. I'm pretty new to javascript, but I've been really trying to learn it along with the Edge API for a couple weeks now and still can't seem to solve this problem.
I'm trying to use the default timeline's current time inside an if-statement's validation code (the code itself being inside a symbol), but I can't seem to find a way to reference the default timeline's current time.
My code would be something along the lines of this:
(upon clicking the buttton)
if (default timeline > 1 second and default timeline < 6 seconds)
{
play default timeline at 6 seconds
}
else if (default timeline > 6 seconds and < 11 seconds)
{
play default timeline at 11 seconds
}
etc...
Have a fairly simple banner ad created in Mac OS. Previews fine locally. Previews fine in Safari on Mac as standalone file and dropped in to iframe on Wordpress page (just like a Nivo slider on same page. Also previews in Safari using IE user agent string. When viewed in any browser on Windows OS, no animation display; either as standalone or loaded into iframe. Possibly something simple: a CSS visbility? URL....

I'm playing with the edge commons and json possibilities.
I have a movie with dynamic infos coming from a json file. Everything displays succesfully right now. I would like when I clic on a element (on the thumb picture) that the current info (so I suppose I have to pass an ID somewhere) displays in a movieclip I created (this movieclip is called "detail" in my edge scene).
I currently have a spotlight in my example when clicking on the thumb but I would like to remove it and just display the selected infos in the detail movieclip. I hope I'm clear enough..

I have a problem when i click the thumbnail, the large image can't displayed, i am receiving the following error:

I believe that somewhere on +$(this).data('largeimage')+") is the mistake. But I can't find it.Moreover, how, the thumbnails, can be displayed as a table of 4x5?
I'm doing a drag and drop. I'm working on how to check whether the user has dragged and dropped the elements correctly or wrongly in order to display the corresponding animation. That means, all the same type of animals have to be placed together in the same row in order for the animation to display a "correct" feedback, and if the user placed it in the wrong order, it will display the "wrong" feedback. There are 3 types of animals: birds, snakes and insects. The "feedback" animations is in the "feedback_sym".
I have placed a "Reset" button on stage, but it does not appear even after changing the positions on the "Elements" column.

I have like 12 symbols on the stage. They al have images in them in JPG format, saved at a quite low percentage in quality.The symbols are being animated seperately but it looks very sluggish.
I am recreating a whole Flash site in Edge. Everything works (amazing) fine except I am missing the function like it exists in Flash:“Display/ Render/ cache as bitmap”. I just moved on to edge animate from html, and html was also beirf learn for me and mostly i was doing design work, and i thought getting out of graphic river and moving on the theme forest.

I'd like to animate snow falling. I assume Edge would be able to do this. Will it be possible to add it as a background? Or would it just be easier to add the effect to the top graphic portion of my page? I've used Edge back when it first came out. But havent' touched it in a while. I would like the link to be initally blank, but after hovering hover the link, a colored rectangle of sorts slides in from left to right, essentially creating a new background color. When the cursor moves off of the link, the colored rectangle in the background would slide back to the left, disappearing.
After some thought, initially it sounds like an animation of clipping masks. Not sure if this is possible in Edge, or if I am on the right track.

I have an existing HTML page (created in Adobe Muse) and I am trying to draw some Adobe Edge objects on top of the page (e.g. a rectangle or an image). When I look in the layers panel, the Edge objects show as top in the list. However, visually when I look at the page, the elements show behind the pre-existing HTML page from Muse.

I am trying to use Edge to build animations that can then be integrated into larger non-Edge projects. I would like to then be able to control the Edge timeline or Edge symbols from elements OUTSIDE of Edge, such as another link or button in the page.
I cannot seem to figure out how to properly reference the Edge stage or symbols.
I have come across several proposed solutions for referencing Edge stage, such as:

From the image above you can see that "jquery" loaded twice @ 91kb = 181kbedge 1.5 loaded twice @ 102kb = 204kb aswell as the edge and edge actions files loaded twice and if i boot strap comps together the images are loaded multiple times aswell

View 1 Replies View RelatedEdge Animate project produces 4 default framework files right now: Edge API, jQuery, jQuery Easing and JSON. Gzipping them we got 60KB of pure JS compressed and minified code. After that we have actual project files which can be compressed into around 20KB but this really depends on a project. So finally we have around 80KB of JS code without images, styles yet. This is acceptable for broadband connections but looks a bit too large for mobile devices.
Is there any way to minimize dependencies on jQuery so that framework will be at least 30KB? Smaller is better in this case.
I'm evaluating Hype by Tumult at the same time and framework JS produced is 16KB compressed and minified. It's 4 times smaller (60KB of Edge Animate). It doesn't contain IE-compatibility though but I don't seriously care about IE 6-9 as mobile is primary target for me so Webkit.
How do you create a responsive and fluid carousel, vertical or horizontal for a menu which includes multiple items. the carousle can be dragged via mouse or touch. when the item is clickes, then it will launch a URL or plau a timeline.
