In my color separations in print preview the "use advanced settings" is disabled.
I have loaded cdr graphics suite 12 on my new laptop w/windows 7, and also on my old machine that I have loaded windows 7 on. Cannot register the program any more due to outdated version. problem exists on both computers.
There are other minor issues but this one I use regularly.
I have a pre-existing graphic uses a stroke with variable with profile (I think) or a special brush to make it look like it's hand drawn. I'd like to apply the same effect to a few new illustrations to keep the style consistent. For whatever reason when I ungroup the graphic and select one of the paths, the stroke weight and variable width profile remain disabled (see pasted toolbar graphic below). The brush still says "Basic" despite the fact that visually it is certainly not the basic brush.
Selected Path
Toolbar (I realize that it says Group instead of Path, but even if I ungroup again and select the path the same options are disabled).
Just the other day I was reproducing a logo that was in a bitmap format, I got it all going then I tried to color match it..., the file was supplied as PSD,
I cropped the RGB color data and reassigned that into coreldraw, after looking at the image with both PS and DRAW side by side on the same monitor . I noticed that they color looks slightly different. Well both my apps are set with the same color profile,
Most of the time I work in RGB color space and I do lots of digital printing as vehicle wraps and wall murals and numerous sign faces thus color accuracy is very important to me but the rendering inconsistency really troubles me. Â
Both Coreldraw and Photoshop are set to Primary color mode RGB - Adobe RGB 1998
Cmyk output set to web coated SWOP V2
Rendering intent set to Relative Colorimetric. All rendering filters are turned off. Both applications are setup identically. Here is a pic
Notice the green color , same values / same profiles.
In X3 you could open "Color Management" window, click on the screen icon and load the color profile of your monitor, but in X5 this window has changed and there is now option for the monitor color profile so I can't find how I could import it.
I'd like to export a drawing to PDF *without* any color conversions, i.e. colors should look exactly the same when viewed as PDF on the same screen (the PDF ultimately will be embedded in a presentation).
I have turned color management off, but this did not solve the problem. When viewing the PDF, I still see these pale colors, probably resulting from the wrong PDF profile being applied.
When I export as PNG, then everything is fine colorwise (but I need PDF as vector format).
how on earth I can turn this "feature" completely off?
I have X5 SP1 and am trying to export in EPS. Regardless of what I choose in the export dialog (RGB or Grayscale) the resulting EPS file always has a CMYK profile embedded. As I need to submit it to a scietific journal for publishing that requires RGB or Grayscale
I already searched for any objects with CMYK fillings or contours - none. In File properties it only shows RGB and Grayscale objects.
I think I read X4 had a problem with EPS export, i. e. all vectors got converted to CMYK regardless of the export dialog choice. Is this still an issue in X5?
After the X6.2 service pack everything looked fine at first, but when dropping bitmaps, Draw now regularly complains about missing the color profile. Of course the bitmaps have profiles embedded, and Draw had never complained about those same bitmaps before. Well, I have everything in AdobeRGB or IsoCoated v2 CMYK, and these are also the standard settings in CorelDraw. So it didn't make a difference eventually, colors remained the same to the numbers.
However, I re-calibrated my display a little later, installed the new profile, opened Draw and was shocked: stridently over-saturated colors in bitmap images as well as in vector graphics, nowhere near their appearance in four-color print (they had been pretty close before). In other color-managed applications everything looks fine, only CorelDraw is concerned. It still does respond to display profile changes, it does adjust colors when a different profile is installed, but the over-saturation is always there. Color definitions are not changed and output is as ever, it is only Corel's rendering of display colors.
I believe that this reaction to a change of the system display profile and the ignorance of profiles embedded in bitmaps go back to the same problem with color management.
Is there a registry hack or something to make it recognize color profiles properly again, or do we have to wait for the next SP to fix a bug brought in by the last?
What kind of problem can occur when saving files ".cdr" without Color Profile in order to reduce the file size when sending it to print shop? Is Color Profile really necessary?
I opened a file I had been working on yesterday on a different Mac, and got the error message: "3D functionality is currently disabled due to OpenGL being disabled." I am currently using MacBook Pro (2008), running Mac OS 10.9, using PhotoShop CC. I've already looked at Ps Preferences>Performance and I see this.
I installed the X5 suite and updates, set up my macros, and everything was working fine. When I restarted Coreldraw, all my macros were disabled? I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, and the same thing happened again. Everything works fine in X4.
I've been trying to reproduce this color blind conditionfor a long time now and I still didn't figure out how I can do this. I've searched for cluts but didn't find any, only this, which has some previews of them, but no any files I can load into Photoshop's Color Lookup adjustment. I've looked into Pixel Bender plugin, but I'm using CC so that doesn't work either... I've also tried it with the Index Color mode, but that really messes up my image as it has a really low color range (256). I've even tried reproducing the same effect with adjustments, channels, etc, but didn't figure it out. Â Since there's a way to perfectly color proof images with this condition, I'm guessing this has to be some kind of ICC profile or something similar. Is there a way I can use it as a color profile?
I work for graphics company who uses Corel heavily for all of our graphics work. We have custom built macros that were made to save our art into our database to then be accessed through Microsoft Access.
We've had these Macros running for many years and have never had any issues. Due to a mail server crash we moved to Office 365; a cloud based mail server. We then started updating our machines to Office 2010 to be able to use our new cloud based email locally.Â
The issue is once we upgraded to MS Office 2010 our macro stopped working and we cannot see where the issue is being caused. The weird thing is it's on both XP and Win7 machines.Â
We've uninstalled and re-installed Corel with no luck. I've changed permissions in Win7 and it has done nothing.
I am using Windows7 (64 bit) machine and CorelDRAW X6 (64 bit) software and also installed HP 5610 all-in-one scanner / printer but i noticed in CorelDRAW X6 / Corel PP x6Â acquire image >> select source... and acquire.. are disable.
it is bug or need some more software to enable for CorelDRAW x6 because HP 5610 Scanner work with other software.
After a likely upgrade to windows update opentype fonts are no longer 'displayed in coreldraw X3 X4 X5 X6 on any computer. it was necessary to restore the computer to the previous date, coreldraw uninstall and disable automatic updates. The problem is only on Coreldraw. In word and photoshop fonts were displayed correctly. The problem is serious because many studies have Opentype fonts and files appear blank. This update from window I will not have 'never install it?
I'm exporting Tiff Prophoto files from Lightroom into PSPX4 for further processing. The images are 1 to 2 stops under exposed when compared to Lightroom's image.I have selected PSPX4 color profile to match LR export color space.
I have tried exporting the Tiffs as sRGB and adode1998 and still the images are under exposed. I have little knowledge about color management and have searched around the web for possible answers, but no luck.
Is there a way to apply a color to selected objects without having to search for the color in the color palette. So say if I am working with an image that has multiple colors but want to use only one of the colors in that image, is there a way to apply it without having to create or add it to the palette.
I'm using Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7 Home Premium. I use Photoshop in conjunction with Lightroom 5.2. When I send an image from Lightroom to Photoshop, and then convert the profile from Photoshop,
I expect to see the option sRGB IEC6196-2.1. If I open the 32-bit version that option is there. However, when using the 64-bit version (which I have been using exclusively) I just recently discovered that the profile isn't there. Photoshop is suggesting converting to eSRGB instead, and the other profile isn't even in the list of available profiles. My printing both at home and from labs is acceptable as far as matching is concerned. But I'm wondering why I don't have that profile. Is there a way to add that profile to the list?
I re-installed Photoshop 7 after formating my PC and the first time i used it, a window appeard regardding some embedded color profiles. I choose an option without reading it carefully and now everytime i open an image the program asks me if i want to assign a color profile to the file or if i don´t want it to color manage. Re-installing it again isn't helping and i can't find any way to arrange this problem.
Couple of days ago I noticed Lightroom colours are a bit off. Especially when i do black and white edits. I don't know much about colour profiles so I don't want to mess with them myself.
I am using Photoshop CS6 13.0.1 x64 and I can't seem to get the settings for a new document to stick. Â When I make a new document my color profile never matches my color settings (RGB: Adobe RGB (1998); CMYK: U.S. Sheetfed Coated v2; Convert to Working RGB; Convert to Working CMYK; Ask when opening), it always is reset to sRGB. Also, when I create a new document it doesn't seem to remember either what I used last or what is in my clipboard - it always resets to 1 x 67. Â Is there some hidden setting I'm missing?
ou have to hover over the image to see the real images. The images embedded in the webpage have their profiles stripped -- just like photoshop does! Interesting.how photoshop doesn't support color profiles in png's.  But now I have a great one.this is with the correct color profile and displays correctly in firefox and probably other browsers -- also displays correctly on windows desktop and in large-icon view.  Ok, grab that image and try to read it into photoshop..I do, and get no warning on profile mismatch like I do on jpg's or tiff's:photoshop strips the existing profile and adds sRGB which isn't the correct profile. This is how photoshop transforms good colors into bad:  Completly screwed up.I have had multiple people notice how my png saved images from photoshop had "off" or bad colors -- usually washed out in comparison w/my monitor profile.I can get 'ok' results if I flatten the image and *convert* my existing profile to sRGB -- and I usually get something that looks 'acceptable'...though the jpg's render in accurate color.  Basically, photoshop can't read or write png web images. and maintain color fidelity unless they have no profile. Even if they have an sRGB profile, I usually get washed out looking pics if I don't strip it but let adobe convert it.  In googling for my own problem, I found references to this problem in Adobe Photoshop going back to 2002.They could fix it with a file plugin for existing CS5-6 users, but it really needs to get fixed and Adobe needs to stop ignoring this problem.I find this extra depressing because I prefer to distribute my pictures losslessly in png, but with photoshop, I'm left with lossy jpegs to get accurate color reproduction.
I want to take HDR photo. I have 3 pictures JPG in AdobeRGB1998. When I giving HDR/MERGE EXPOSURE program automatically changing color profile of my pictures from AdobeRGB for sRGB. Why does it happen?
Since I've updated to a 22" LCD Screen I've run into a problem, and Im not sure exactly what is causing it. I'll do my best to explain the circumstances.
The problem Im having is managing the colour between what Im doing in Photoshop, and what is being produced on the web. For some reason, the brightness/gamma I have in photoshop is higher than what is being saved for web.
For example, Im working on a PSD file, get the brightness, saturation to exactly where I wanted it, then go "save for web" and as soon as the save for web dialog comes up. It's much "darker".
Here is a screenshot of the photo in photoshop, along with the image saved on the right in firefox.
I've checked the "Color Settings" in Photoshop, and the RGB profile is set to SRGB.
Now most people who view the photo, say it is "too dark". So im assuming that most peopels monitors view the image as too dark. So I need photoshop to view the image as "too dark", so I can tweak the brightness etc so that it becomes correct for most monitor.
Why would photshop show it slightly brighter, as soon as I hit "save for web", the colour Im seeing in the preview window is already "too dark".
It's almost like my default ICC profile is chagned to be too bright. Any help would be appreciated. I think when I installed my graphics card drivers, then Nvidia also ran a color profiler. I also insatlled the monitor drivers for my widescreen.
So My wife and I got two new laptops (Toshiba Qosmio X875) after getting everything installed my wife noticed that all the images she has edited and uploaded (old and new) appear differently than they do in the editor. The color profile is set to RGB as I've read that's where it is supposed to be. She gets the same results when using Lightroom 4. I inserted a side by side screen shot below and you can see a difference where they should be identical.Â
