I am using Windows Vista, and I am trying to drag and drop photos from Google images into CorelDraw. I can do it from IE no problem. Chrome is only dragging in the URL text of the image an not the actual photo.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWith X4 I can right click a piece of text - with pick tool - and drag the selected text to an open area and the text is duplicated. With X5 this does not work - text is locked. The only way to duplicate is to copy / paste. Is there a setting that needs to be reset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using CorelDraw 12, and recently when I try to drag a drawing, I do a left click and drag. But in doing so, depending on how far I move the object, and how long I hold the left click down, it will just continue making duplicate copies of my object. So as I drag the object, it is also copying. I have had to restart my computer to get it to stop, but this is getting old.
how to disable the drag copyiing? Everywhere I have looked, I find that people are right-clicking, so to clarify, this is a left click issue with my mouse.
I often have the need to remove the drop shadow effect. Currently what I do is to "Break Drop Shadow Group Apart" then delete it from object manager. However with other effects such as Transparency, I can simply set the Effect to None. Can this be done with Drop Shadow?

I apply a red glow on an object (rectangle) on an black background.When exported as JPEG or PDF, the red glow color faded become greyish. I check that it's same when I turn the proof colors on.I've change different modes for the drop shadow but none gives the correct result.
This only happens in CMYK mode. When exported as RGB, it's fine.
Applying contour to a text and trying to apply a drop shadow afterwards, the drop shadow properties can not be set.
No matter what item you select in the Object Manager, the drop shadow toolbar's controls are all disabled.
PS: I just noticed this is true for the drop shadow tool in CorelDRAW X6.2 in gereral. I'm not able to edit any of the drop shadow properties.

I have bought the hard copy version of corel draw Suit X5 and waiting for it. I originally dwn loaded it from the web and so did my son. We are working on a project together. He found TT-Musical Symbols in his dwn loaded version and I do not have it on my dwn load version. Do you have TT-Musical Symbols in your drop down text? and or when you dwn loaded the trail version, have you got it?

When I add a drop shadow to anything the variable attributes do not appear on the property bar, ie "flat bottom right" at top left and then the choice of colours etc. I know by now where they are so click on where I think they are, but it's annoying. 2. open windows explorer or any folder or any file manager.
3. Drag a jpg from the folder/explorer to Draw. and you are met with: Ø

I update to 6.2 version and one feature i missing is the ability to drag and drop images from Google images on firefox to Corel. Before the update works fine...after its only import the name of file like " Kgcjfdag.bmp" and not the image. But in IE works fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been working with both Corel Draw 12 and and at some point Photo Paint just froze. Empty main area, just one docker opened. Doesn't matter where I click on the screen, the same metallic clicking response. I uninstalled the whole suite and installed it again.
No difference, the same screen starts and the same freeze. I can only close it using Task Manager. Corel Draw works find and Photo Paint works fine on the other computer on which I installed it at the same time.
