I have a around 500 cdr(corel draw ) files, and each pages have around 20 images in it.
so what i do. select every single image on the pages then using convert bitmap option to save them on my computer. That consume my whole time in saving them to my computer.
Is there any fast option available to select all images at once and convert to bitmap 20 images and save in a number say 1,2 ...20
Im using Corel Photo-Paint X5 and was wondering how to decrease or remove pixelation from the edges of a low quality photo? Iva attached a sample below

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a large job for a client who uses antique computers. They are so old that he can't run Lightroom. As a workaround, I posted the images I wanted him to look at on SmugMug and we had a disaster. Their sequencing on screen does not match my "as shot" sorting on my Lightroom (4). Is there a way I can print sequential serial numbers/ids on my images before I upload them to SmugMug so we are always talking about the same image?

Question: How do I “Add” multiple TIFF files to a Batch Process so I don't get the "what page" question?The PP9 Batch Process Added – OPENED - files, processed according to my script, then saved the result to new type & folder.
X5, a recent purchase, does an IMPORT of TIFFs instead of an OPEN and wants to know what page I want to load. Answering this on each file defeats the purpose of batch processing. How I should write the script?
I've done batch processing before, but unsure of how to simply change the jpg compress on all files in a root folder (with subdirs). I guess I'm stuck in not knowing how to set the compression since this is done in the saving of the file and not really the script part.

1) For instance, sometimes, the object is cut out of a white background and I want to use it on a black background... leaves a nasty outline :( - maybe its easier to take a pic of the object on a black background (which is what I usually do - but I don't feel like getting the camera out - besides, I then almost always need to touch up the photo)

2) how do I easily smooth the edges if a use the colour wand? before or after cutting out (Copy to clipboard)?
Need color correcting my underwater shots.
The only posts I ever see on any site usually deal with Photoshop. I've been getting decent results using one step photo finish and then sliding the overall brightness bar to a negative position usually -10 to -30. I then go to fade correction and use a value of 46. This seems to do a decent job. My wife and I are avid snorkelers so I'm usually taking my pictures at a depth of 10' - 30' of water with an internal flash.
Is there a way to save default setting. I like to have the ruler to show and the page to be in pixel, I work on webpage. Also is it possible to set default export to pixel.

New installation on xp with sp3.
Open a graphic and saving or exporting as jpg, gif or png crashes the program without info or savings.
Same file saving as bmp, cpt, eps, tiff or psd works.
I have CDGSX4. I've been trying to edit some of my Canon Raw (CR2) files. However I get this purplish haze covering my images I think it has to do with the Raw File driver. I've noticed this with PSPX4 and also the trial version of CDGSX6.
The image is from a Canon T4i (650).
I must of changed something but I don't know what , when I upload a photos and simply save it without doing anything (and adding/changing photo) it saves it but in a lower quality .
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis happens only occasionally. I have a file open in PP5. I resample the image -- reduce the physical size from, in this case, 53 inches to 8 inches high, and increase resolution from 72 to 300 dpi, with the resulting file size smaller than the original. I save the file, then import into my layout in Coreldraw. The imported file is back to 72 dpi and the physical size is huge. I reopen the file in PP, resample again, and resave under a new file name. Same problem occurs when I import into Draw. Of course, I can physically shrink the file to 3 inches high and the resulting dpi will be 300.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am not a master of Photo-Paint, I use Draw for most tasks, but here I think Photo-Paint would be the right tool. I want to resample an image and then add a 7 px drop shadow to it and then export it as a PNG for web (transparent drop shadow). The problem I encounter is at the export stage, as the whole paper size is exported, not just the object selected, as is the case in Draw. Is there any other option than to place the object in the upper left corner (coordinates 0, 0 ) resize the paper size to fit and then export?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I use CS4. Lately after she edits a photo and saves it as a jpeg, something happens. It's like it doesn't save with the .jpg extention. When she goes to her pictures folder to open the file, there is a blank thumbnail and it won't open until she manually adds a .jpg to the end or sometimes it won't even save.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been asked to work with a blogger who until now has accepted images to their size uncompressed of resized. We've got around the problem of the max image size by using the plugin Insanity. Which has done a great job however what it doesn't do is re sample the images for the web.
Usually if I blog myself, I always save for web but I'm having real trouble, real real trouble creating an action that will save for web to the original folders instead of a separate one.
The thing is that there are so so many images in so many different folders and sub folders these must be modified and replaced ready for re upload.
I think I've found a bug: PPX6 is not honoring the "maintain size" option while exporting as PNG.
To reproduce:
Create a new 24bits RGB 600dpi image.
Export it as PNG
Check the "maintain size" option (size controls get disabled)
Now change the "resolution" to 96.
Size now shows 0px 0px and scale 1%.
Uncheck the "maintain size" option and mark it again.
DPIs are now something like -491.

how to make a PNG in PP so that there is not a residual trace of the background color. Notice on the picture below. There should be the white circle around the red circle, but then there is also the trace of yellow, which is the background color (and what I chose under PNG Export as the Transparency > Image Color. This has always happened for me using PP and PNGs, and I assume there must be some setting to avoid that so there's a smooth PNG export, but I can't seem to figure it out.

1. It does not show the original file size. At one time I used this as a cue to see if I had forgotten to resample.
2. After the installation of version 16.3, the displayed compressed file size is no longer accurate. It varies from perfect to reading 25% too high.
When I'm saving my file as PSD I have strange error with "nice" description.The only way to avoid it is search and delete design elements - I found that its caused by one text object.
The question is what can be wrong with text object to generate this error. I can edit text and do everything with it but I cant save it as PSD. Its hard to find it in big complicated designs. I think similiar problem was in Corel Photopaint X3. Seems like it left to X6 version.Bug exists in all files with text objects.

I have 30 dirs, each of them with 4 thumbs in it. I want to make one big thumb of every 4 smaller ones, by resizing and fitting them together into square. Like
Thumb1 right next to Thumb2

Thumb3 right next to Thumb4
and then save that image.
Would you give me any direction how to do that? I'm with CS3. I did explore the auto and script options in the File menu, but still unable to get idea how to do that, if possible at all
I have just started using a Canon 60D. I wish to use PhotopaintX4 to process the images in RAW of course. Naturally impossible to do at present because PP can't read the file. Is there a download to enable this to happen?
View 14 Replies View RelatedTarget a folder with xxx .gif patterns (in the same size)- Setup actions to batch open each image from the folder, copy the pattern image individually over to a .PSD file that have a silhouette of the sleeve.- Apply the individual pattern to the clipping mask- Save it out as .png
Issue:So far ive only had the automate > batch process to save out one .png with the pattern correctly applied to the silhouette.
I close down everything and initiate automate > batch process then Photoshop will complain about not being able to locate the clipping mask.In my action setup I first open my .psd containing my sleeve shape, then open an actual pattern image and then all other steps ending up with saving the .psd with pattern clipping mask to .png. When the Export To... dialogue box comes up, the image default is Zoom to Fit. Can I change the default to Zoom 1:1 pixel?

4) I define the area as polygon
5) I Export For Web
6) Under HTML and Slices I Export image and HTML

8) It produce an html file with my image, but no hyperlinking or image mapping...

I used to draw battleships in CorelDRAW3 when I was a kid.
If there is a way you can open up for e.g. 100 images then make changes to the image like Hue and saturation then apply it to all the images and save them all? I do stop motion and have a lot of images that i need altered in exactly the same way but i need a more simple way than 1 at a time.

Using File>export option 30 times is a time consuming and cumbersome process. Is there a quick way to do it. Like I give a command for 30 jpegs export and corel makes 30 jpeg files for me for each corresponding page?

I saw a technique in Ps for enhancing the colours of a sunset using a circular mask on an adjustment curve. They then inverted the mask to only show the colour adjustments. I'm wondering if I can recreate this within PP. From playing with it, I can't yet see how so I just through I'd ask here. The video I was watching for this technique is here.
