When I load my own images to the image sprayer tool in Photo Paint there is a white square background showing when I use them. I have tried png and jpeg what sort of file should the images be.

Very sad. Because I have to insert over 100 frames and doing it one by one.

I have just started using a Canon 60D. I wish to use PhotopaintX4 to process the images in RAW of course. Naturally impossible to do at present because PP can't read the file. Is there a download to enable this to happen?

I know a right click resets but it defaults to the position of the clone (why?), so I usually have to right click at least twice.

Running Windows 7 - 64 bit with X5. About 2 weeks ago PhotoPaint tools changed from a nice, easy to use circle, showing the size of the nib in use (paint brush, clone, mask brush, eraser, etc) to a representation of the tool with no indication of how large the nib is. I've tried working through this, being busy with work, but it's very frustrating and was so much easier with the nib circles - showing the size.
This is the same thing that used to happen in V.12, and previously the solution was to return to a checkpoint in the system, re-install and all was set back to normal. It's been almost a year since switching to X5 and have no memory on how or what the process was back for V.12.
I having trouble with my new PaintShop Pro X4. The smear tool is not working. I've gone thru all the blend modes and tried each one, to no avail.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently have developed a problem using Photo Paint. I have already tried to use F8 and restored factory settings, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I do not have this problem when logged in as the guest user on my computer, just under my normal profile. I want to correct the settings under my normal profile.
When editing the tool tip does not line up with the selector or cross hairs. For example if I have the paint tool selected and try to paint it actually begins painting about two inches from where I want to begin painting. See picture below: The small clear circle represents where I want to begin, but the red dot is where it paints.
When trying to use the clone tool, my initial cursor locations (as picked by me) appears to be about 200 pixels off. I have updated video drivers and mouse drivers to no avail. There was a posting some time back about the same issue, but it seems to be unresolved. The solution was to remove code from the registry.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI saw a technique in Ps for enhancing the colours of a sunset using a circular mask on an adjustment curve. They then inverted the mask to only show the colour adjustments. I'm wondering if I can recreate this within PP. From playing with it, I can't yet see how so I just through I'd ask here. The video I was watching for this technique is here.

Knowing that X5 won't apply effects to 48bit images unless I convert them to 24bit first, If I apply a mask first over to the 48bit image, then apply an effect to that, will this work? or do I still need to convert my image to 24bit?
View 3 Replies View Related4705.sample2.tifOur customers have given us some black and white .tif Monochrome Bitmap images at 400 ppi (see attached sample) and 600 ppi of some scanned black and white engineering drawings. Some of the small text on the drawings is not very legible because open areas are filled in with black. Some of the vertical and horizontal lines are ragged (digitized) on the edges. Is there any way that I can improve the visual quality of these Monochrome Bitmap images in Corel Draw (which I use) or Corel Paint (of which I'm not very knowledgeable, or adept)?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been reporting this problem in PhotoPaint for many years now, and was hoping it might be fixed with the 64 bit implementation. Sadly, it still does not work. Certainly this cannot be such an impossible problem to resolve.
The last version when it worked was with release 12, which I kept around for quite a while until I switched to a new system. I have tried it on each release of PhotoPaint since then, and it has failed on X3, X4, X5 and now it still fails in X6.
It works with smaller images, but when the image is greater than some 3000 to 4000 pixels wide, the results are totally scrambled..
Image Slicing Tool is not able to be selected only with some pictures..
Something about background images and combining them? I make the image up in draw then export as a jpeg but photo paint will not let me slice?
Images no longer show up in the general graphics forum Let's see if anything gets through here.

This involves recomposing scanned images into a new layout, recreating text from matched fonts - that sort of thing. Unfortunately, some of the scanned images (originally printed offset press in cmyk) were printed with one or more of the plates out of register, creating a halo effect on one side. Can this be corrected in PhotoPaint? Is there a way to create each channel as an object which could be moved to realign the colors and then flattened again?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI must have fat fingered something and I now when I click on the Eraser Tool or the Brush Mask Tool instead of getting a circle or square, I get and icon of the tool instead. They still work but they're harder to use without seeing the circle or square depending on what's selected. I've been using Corel for many years and never had this happen and I can't figure out how to switch back.

I need labels of 50mmx20mm and I resize my tiff image and then paste onto an A4 page intending to copy paste until page is full.
1.Problem is if i use the ruler it shows that my image is only about 40mm wide even though the size boxes at the top clearly say it is 50mm?!!! see image
2. Is there an automatic way to fill apage with a specified sized image eg labels as the Impostion tab maxes out at 4x4(16up)?
I want to know how to resize a photo without loosing quality....... in the image resize box the is a check box that says maintain file size ......what does that do .
I have tried to resize using it and the file stays the same as the original.
I haven't found a way to turn a color photo into a Black & White outline drawing in Corel PhotoPaint X5.

Not just change the color but change the color AND make it keep it's original shading, etc. I have some family photos we had made recently and they used a beige color draping for the background. The ones we had made before had a black draping. I was wondering how I could go about using some sort of additive coloring to transform the varying shades of beige to the same varying shades of black.
I have already used the masking tool to separate the background from the rest of the photo.
I want to create bulging eyes in a photo that i have. I would do this in photo paint?

Is there an easy way to do color tints on a photo in PhotoPAINT? And by that I don't mean just correcting the tint, I mean converting a regular photo into one that has a single color tint (e.g., yellow, red, etc.). I've tried graying it out and then adding a transparent color layer over it, but I'm not getting the result I'm looking for.
Also, while I'm at it, are there any (current) books out that cover PhotoPAINT in depth? I know that the official DRAW book has a section on it, but it's pretty basic.
The current crop of photo sharing apps like Instagram have made filter effects a popular way of adding some extra vim to your shots. What if you want to give the ‘retro’ look to photos that aren’t on your phone though?
