How do you change the characteristic of the cursor from Hand (Move Tool) back to just being a pointer? This condition only exists in the Develope Module when my cursor is placed over the top of the photo. When I move it off the photo it returns to a pointer. In the Library Module it is always a pointer like I like it to be.

The pointer flickers when in AutoCAD, especially when in menus, between the arrow and the arrow / waiting circle. Also does this flicker with the cross hairs and the waiting symbol when in the drawing window. Have all the drivers up to date no luck.
Have also tried multiple different pointing devices. Also have several instances where text will not move or allow to be modified until I save and restart the program.
I just installed Creative Suite CS6 and in Photoshop, when I use the move tool a small popup window shows the mouse coordinates. I can't see any option to turn this off, either in the Options bar or the Preferences.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have a drawing with an xRef in model space and it is exposed through a paperspace viewport.
While in PS, we activate the viewport so that we can then select the xRef and with that done, we right-click on the mouse and now we have the issue.
On all computers but one, we see the pop-up menu on the left of the attached pic, but on that one computer we see the menu on the right. The difference is marked off in red and as you can see, the section with the xRef options is missing for that one guy. Why?
We are all using the same enterprise customization file and each user has their own main customization file. I have checked his main customization file and don't see anything that would be causing this.
Apart form the many apparent issues with AAM and my solution of uninstalling all app and using cleaner tool, I have only been able to reinstall my apps via installing trial and licensing with CC ID I still cannot update any of my installed apps all fail to update.
However my specific quetsion here is, would it be expected the 3D men to show (having read many strins on this) with the following graphics card;
NVIDIA GeForce GS driver version 301.42, 512 MB, directx support 9.0cOS windows XP, 32 bit SP3
The 3d menu does not show though PS recognises the graphics card and I have checked the use graphics card.I tried installing on a laptop with windows vista 32 bit with Upto 358MB Mobile Intel Graphic media accelerator X3100, this shows the 3D menu but all the actions are greyed out.
I have tried to install on an HP laptop windows 8, with intel (R) hd graphics, though AAM doesn't work here either, so using download assistant to try and download PS trial and license wit CC ID, only to have communication error 100 check your internet connection, though I know I am connected to the inernet.
Is the 3D menu likely to work on this laptop? if I can get it downloaded.
From the discussions I see this may be a licensing issue, I waited 45 mins on phone support (from NZ) yesterday and finally gave up, any feedback would be appeciated, I think adobe really needs to address the obvious AAM problems or the CC is only becoming a very frutrating experience I am only using it to learn new skills, not learning much with all the downtime trying to fix problems though. I would hate to be trying to meet deadlines in a real business.
I use VS Pro X4 sporadically, but I seem to recall that when previewing my work before burning a DVD, I was able to see my chapter's/menu's that I created - in the Adding/Editing Chapter option. I would then click on their remote control and select/test out my "links" before burning a disc. I must be doing something wrong because when I choose Preview, my main screen custom menu doesn't appear.
If I play around a bit, I can select "Top Menu" on the remote and click a number - which brings me to the chapter (but again, I can see my main menu/chapter screen - the screen that would appear when someone loads my DVD to play it).
I changed the mode to Classic but I still don't see an option for unrestrained crop. I'm using Photoshop CS6.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI have been going crazy trying to get my custom scripts to appear in the "Scripts" menu item under "File" in Illustrator CS4. I've tried placing them in Presets > Scripts, I've tried creating a folder under "Plug-Ins" called "Scripts" and placing them there, and several other places in an attempt to find anything that will work, but so far nothing has. I've also tried deleting the Illustrator Prefs but that didn't work.

This has been updated and still I do not see it listed when I click on the file menu. I take photos of antique gold lockets using a light house and even though the custom white balance is set on my camera the photos are still coming out too canary yellow. I need to be able to adjust the colors so that they are more antique rose gold looking and have been reading different articles and videos on how other people adjust the colors and would like to try a couple of the ways I have seen but am unable as the camera raw plug in is not showing up as an option.

I opened up the dialog box and chose to only notifiy me for "Errors Only"......but it still pops up for ALL my printing and then won't shut off unless I close it myself.....very annoying!
I have turned off the notification for my OS setup but this is unique to the Autodesk software.
I have attached a word doc with my screen shot of the dialog box that pops up and then the larger box that opens up when you want the details.
When I plot my Autocad drawing, arrows (see attached image) arrow.jpgpop up. I'm pretty sure they are coming in from one of my architecture x-ref files, but as they only pop up when the drawing is plotted, I cant seem to figure out how to turn them off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been working on a project for a bit and so far everything had been working correctly. But recently I must have mistakenly changed a setting I don't know about because now I am experiencing an issue.
When I am trying to enter a unit at the pointer, for example, the length of a line I am creating, if I use a space, AutoCAD seems to be treating it as ENTER and thus I can not specify my unit correctly.
In other words, if I want my line to be 3'-9 5/8" in length, I can type in 3'-9, but as soon as I hit the space bar in order to type in the 5/8" AutoCAD automatically finishes my line at a length of 3'-9".
On Civil3D 2007, at least on my machine, the mouse seems to move slowly when it is over the drawing space, but moves at normal speeds when over menu or toolbar items and when in other applications. It's almost as if the "resolution" of the mouse changes as soon as it is over the drawing area in Civil3D. The result is that the mouse/pointer falls behind a little bit when you move it, almost like it does when you use a remote computer over a slow network connection. This makes it difficult to have precise mouse movements.
I should also mention that I don't have this problem in any other applications, including Land Desktop 2006. Some hardware specifics: Dell, P4-HT 3.0GHz, XPpro machine, 2 gig of RAM, RADEON X600 256MB video card, single monitor, Logitech Mx500 mouse, all updates current.
Photoshop CS5 already in 32-bit mode; Lighting Effects filter not showing in the FIlter Menu.

In the 2012 version of AutoCAD I could press key down to get a drop down list on the mouse pointer with all the keywords, see attached image. In the 2014 version I don't get this choice, I only get the possibility to choose keyword from the command line at the bottom. Is the functionality with key down gone in the never versions or can I set a variable so it shows?

I am porting some VBA to VB.Net.
Several of the modules do a ThisDrawing.SendCommand("_color" & vbCR) to popup the AutoCAD color picker, then process the response by doing a ThisDrawing.GetVariable("CECOLOR") to get the selected color.
With .Net, the SendCommand does not execute until the .Net program ends.
How can I get the AutoCAD color picker to popup inline in my code so I can get the user's selection?
I have a .NET program to read plotter information available in ACAD. I use PlotConfigManager.SetCurrentConfig function to set a PC3 plotter as current device and got the PlotConfig to read paper size information.
If the PC3 file is invalid (for example plotter name not exist, PMP file can’t be located, etc.) a dialog of ACAD ERROR will popup. Is there a way I can validate the plotter before SetCurrentConfig function to avoid the dialog popup?
In AutoCAD for Architecture 2010 I am having problems publishing to a DWF (DWF6 ePlot.pc3) as well as to a PDF (DWG To PDF.pc3). On one machine everything works fine. On another machine it has worked but doesn't now.
I have tried the following:
Repaired AutoCAD for Architecture
Reinstalled AutoCAD for Architecture
Recreated both .pc3 files
Numerous reboots and restarts
The only difference is that the machine it doesn't work on has AutoCAD for Architecture 2009 installed. Both machines are XP64 SP2 with identical hardware.
