Everytime when i import a surface in civil3d 2013. It stops working and tries to send error report.
Also programs top bar which includes "save-open-civil3d selections-etc." is white that i cant see any button. It seems like ineffective because of colour but they can be clickable.

I have a folder containing all my photos (15000 photos: 70% JPG, 30% NEF) in a sorted folder-structure.
I am trying to import that filestructure to Lightroom, but after some thousand fotos the import-process just stops. Lightroom is still usable, the "import-progress-bar" shows the correct value (something below 50%) but import action is frozen.
I can shutdown the program and them try to restart them import, but it does not work.
When I then try to import the fotos "year by year" then it also has the same behaviour after some time...
Seems to me quite a bug for the sake of a photo-management-tool?
I have a profile with an eg surface and a fg surface made from design tool. Now I want to import a proposed surface in there too.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI created a surface in 2013 for an old project by importing a TIN from LDD, which worked fine, but the survey crew recently went back to the same site and did an update (asbuilt) with updated elevations. A good portion of the survey is still accurate and has not changed, but there was an area of new construction. My question is what is the best way to remove the old TIN lines (that are actually still connecting some old, incorrect survey points) and incorporate the new elevations that will now reflect new TIN lines in certain areas. Basically, I need to get rid of some old TIN lines and replace with new and updated survey. The surface in LDD used a point group, which was fine then, but now some of those points in that point group are incorrect.

We have another drawing "B", that contains an alignment and a reference to"SurfaceA"
The user created EG profiles in drawing "B", and has been working on this drawing periodically.
Today all of a sudden when he opens Drawing "B", the EG profiles are missing. When you look at "SurfaceA" in Drawing "B", there is no data. We synced, we made sure of the association of the drawings to the projects, etc. etc.
I verified the data shortcuts are OK, and verified that both drawings are in good shape (via Recover and Audit)
But wait.....here is the crazy part. If you shut down Drawing "B" and open it say a dozen times, once or twice in that stretch, "surfaceA" shows up and the EG profiles will appear OK too. It's feels very random.....
I have a existing ground surface drefed into a model and am trying to get a user defined contour at a set elevation but nothing appears. I have userdefined layer on in the surface style and other ideas why it will not appear?

Lightroom stops importing, the progress bar stops moving. After quiting Lightroom and trying to sync the folder it happens again. There are no strange fileformats in the folder, just straight JPG and XMP. This is pretty annoying - such a basic functionality should work out of the box.
I've read that the german character "ß" could be the cause (so every file tagged with German Street Names in it will stop LR from working! Excellent.) – and the release candidate 5.2 should fix the issue. BUT: I am not very fond of installing a release candidate; what happens later, when the final version is released? Does the automatic update function its job? Or do i have to fiddle once more to get the final version working?
As I'm working in 2011 all of a sudden when I want to deselect all I hit the ESC key and objects are still selected. I can right click and select deselect all and that works. If I shutdown AutoCAD and restart the ESC key works again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm seeing a problem in just some of my Lightroom 4 (version 4.3, latest updates as of today) catalogs where auto import just stops working. There are no error messages and Lightroom continues to work, but files in the watched folder just don't get imported. I've optimized the catalog, restarted Lightroom, double checked that auto import is on, restarted my mac (mac book pro running 10.7.5), imported all the photos into a new catalog... still no joy. Also worth noting is that the other import options are greyed out if auto import is on when I start Lightroom for these broken catalogs... but if I turn off auto import, and restart Lightroom, the import photos and videos is enabled and I can import the files from the watch folder manually.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am a middle school teacher with a lab of 25 Dell Precision T1600 desktops. I just installed Inventor on all the computers and it works beautifully on 24 of them. On one of them, when you choose the "start" menu, nothing happens. If you click a second time, the area where the menu should be is black and the program stops working. The computers are running Windows 7 and with it working on 24 not sure why it wouldn't work on the 25th.
I have reinstalled 3 times, but nothing seems to work.
The problem is: the view cube doesn't respond and the navigation pane/tool/group doesn't respond either. If i click on any of the tools it doesn't register in the command line.
The view cube stops working after some amount of time (or clicks) regardless of what I've been doing. If I switch to another drawing the view cube works fine there. If I close the (not working) drawing and open again it works fine.

Bridge CS6 always stops importing the files from my D800 via USB 3.0 after exactly 6 jpg files are transferred. In mixed nef+jpg as well as in jpg only mode. No matter if CF only or SD only or both cards are used. No problem with .nef only.To change the target directory to another SSD or HD makes no difference.
But at the same USB 3.0 ports (I tried them all), no problem whatsoever to do the transfer via Windows Explorer. So I guess it must be something with Bridge and USB3.0 and jpgs from the D800.System is a brand new W7Ultimate64 on an IvyBridge Z77 platform.
I have a user who has a problem with creating meshes in the Inventor Stress Analysis environment. When trying to create meshes in assemblies (after clicking the Mesh View button), the Mesh progress meter gets to about 80% done, then backs up a step, then never moves forward after that. He has let it run all night and no further progress is made. I noticed that the FEAComputeServer.exe process uses 25% to 50% of the CPU usage until about a minute after the mesh progress meter stops. Then the FEAComputeServer.exe CPU usage drops to zero.
The odd thing is that this is happening on only 1 computer. The exact same assemlies can be meshed without problems on his laptop and my computer. We have tried the following to solve the problem:
1. Adjusted Mesh Settings to various values.
2. Both Inventor 2014 SP1 and Update 1 for SP1 are installed
3. Updated the video driver. Video card is a NVIDIA Quadro 4000. Video driver is version NVIDIA's 331.65 WHQL certified ODE driver.
4. Uninstalled and reinstalled all Autodesk products using the procedure at [URL]
5. As part of the uninstall, we also removed MS .NET Frameworks and C++ Redistrubutables so that the Autodesk installer would install it's preferred flavor of these utilities.
6. Reinstalled SP1 and Update 1 for SP1.
Since the issue is happening on just 1 computer, I don't think the issue is related to the part geometry itself. The only other thing I can think of that could cause this is just bad hardware.
Initially the family was customized to add a few of our part numbers and suppress some members we weren't using.
There were some duplications in the table that were removed as well (This has been a known issue since 2009).
It has been working for several months without a problem.
Yesterday I needed some new sizes so I unsuppressed a few members and updated the part number and grade information .
Now when I try to place any instance from this family Inventor crashes.
I have found that the family will work if all members are unsuppressed. If only the customized members are left unsuppressed Inventor will crash on placement.
I ran some more tests by starting fresh and copying a read-only version from the ANSI library. I recreated the original library and it functions with the customizations untill I add a custom column (Grade) to use as a key.
How can a family go from functioning to not by only modifying a few fields?

Restart PSRestart MacDo something else for a bit and jump back into PS praying it might now be ok.The problem exists using the laptop keyboard alone, and while using a bluetooth(apple) keyboard.
After opening and using photoshop cs6 for a few minutes I get a box popping up saying Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working. "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So far never received any notifications about a solution. I notice that it closes soon after I try a CTRL T to select an image.
View 9 Replies View RelatedCS4 OpenGL stops working after a few minutes of painting. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the amount I paint. If I save the file, then reopen I can paint for another few minutes before the opengl stops working. Is this a standard problem with CS4? Is there a solution?

When I have made 5 HDR RAW pictures and want to combine them within CS6, the program Photoshop stops working. Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong? I juist follow the instructions of the book.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm recently having a problem in photoshop cs5.After a while in photoshop, MOST keyboard shortcuts stops working. the keyboard works just fine, but the shortcuts are'nt. All I need to do to fix it is to restart photoshop and it works fine again (until the problem occurs again).But recently, this problem occurs ever 2 mins. I've just started a design I wanted to finish with quickly, and I actually restarted photoshop at least 20 times.
btw, the only other applications running while photoshop is are windows media player, NOD 32 , windows photo viewer, and some other folders, thats it.
For the last three versions of Photoshop the shortcut keys [ ] for brush size stops working. Why is this not fixed? The other shortcut that shows brush size in red.

What happens.... In new installed VS X4 if i put a videofile on the timeline and go to SHARE >MAKING VIDEOFILE MENU....the computer breaks down, and gives the error: " VS X4 does not work anymore..... " and stops working, realy breaking down....
Have tryed it lots of times, it looks like at installing the program, the link to the output formats is not there and VS X4 does not now how to handle.....Yes I am going over to the professional software edius 6, but with a usermanual with 1000 pages i need studying at least one year on that....
I am trying to complete my first project in X3 with a new computer. I have done many projects on an older computer with VS 10. I X3 stops working during the rendering process everytime I try to make a video file. I'm making a 4:3 mpeg 2 file (DVD). I have tried several different ways and the most I can get done is 24%. i have tried to cut out a clip..I get a dump file each time that it tells me to send to Corel.

I reloaded Video Studio Pro X3 which worked fine until I tried to save the edited video as a mpeg-4 HD (to be converted into an AVI later). It starts saving and then shut downs informing me to contact Corel and give them the data dump to figure out what the problem is. of course, i can not contact Corel who directed me to this forum. I did download and install the critical update but the same error occurs.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI do a heavy job about an into working on a comp my keyboard will stop working, every once in a while if I cmd + tab out of smoke and back into smoke it will do the same thing, but my mouse always works. The only way to really get the keyboard back to working is by rebooting the app. This is really embarrassing when you are doing supervised sessions and you have to reboot.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a scene setup with a dummy wired to a helicopters proppelors. The dummy is animated from frame 0 to 130. And it is working fine. But as soon as I want to animate the dummy to frame 200 or so the propellors stop rotating from frame 130.
Where can I adjust it to get it working again?
I'm a new GIMP user and, prior to this, my sole experience with a graphics program has been MS Paint. So be gentle.I am currently trying to make a logo. I have been using the Path tool to delete portions of the logo I don't want in the final picture. I used the Path tool several times, used "Select to path" to get a selection, then deleted the bits.
And there I am, merrily deleting away when alla the sudden, "Select to path" stops working. I make a closed-loop path, hit "Select to path", and...nada. No selection, nothing.
Up until now Stroke on text seemed pretty straight forward.But now it doesn't work. Is there some magical shortcut that could have made it not possible to appear? It's showing up in the Appearance panel, but not onscreen.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI use the grid view to reorder photos then rename them so I have the corrrect sequence number for each image as part of the name. After I have been doing this for an hour or so (on various folders of images) Lightroom gives me an error message saying: "Reorder photos by dragging from within the grid view, not by dragging from another source". The images are not from multiple folders and I am gragging within the grid view same as I was doing moments before it simply stopped working. Subsequent attempts to drag are met simply with silence. No more error messages.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen watching more (3 to 4) videos after one another, the video player just stops working.After a while (a minute or so) I get an error message: "There was an error working with the video".
The only way (so far) to get it to work again is to restart Windows.And then again, I can watch 3 to 4 videos before the problem occurs again.My computer runs 64-bit Windows 7 with 8GB RAM.
Everytime I select the liquify command PS stops working, I've tried with different resolution pictures, with the 32 and 64 bit versions. If I use CS5 I have no problems.
