Photoshop :: Error :: The Object Style Shape Style Is Not Currently Available

Oct 12, 2008

I have recorded an action to create a transparent image on a batch of photos. Next I ran the image processor using the File/Scripts/image processor. When running the action the error message occurs no matter how many ways I attempt to modify the action. Error: The object "Style "Shape Style"" is not currently available.

I then look in the action window to check and under the steps Make Fill Layer: Style: Shape, Style 1 appears but I can't delete it. This one error message makes it impossible for me to image process a batch of photos with a watermark on them.

Photoshop :: Different Colour Sections Within A Shape

I need to create a positive space triangle in photoshop. I know how to create a triangle and fill it with colour but I don't know how to make different sections within that shape so I can assign different colours to each section (a positive space triangle has horizontal bars of each colour of the rainbow inside it).

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Change Default Label Style To Child Style

Jan 2, 2013

I am trying to change the default label styles for AddSegmentLabel under general styles using .NET...

Dim X As Autodesk.Civil.Settings.SettingsCmdAddSegmentLabel = CD.Settings.GetSettings(Of Autodesk.Civil.Settings.SettingsCmdAddSegmentLabel)()

X.Styles.LineLabel.Value = strChildStyleName ... says name does not exist

or

X.Styles.LineLabelStyleId.Value = oidChildStyle ... "The type of objectId is wrong"

If I manually change it to a child style and then check the values, they are the same as what I'm trying to set them to. If you use a "parent" style then these both work. Am I doing something wrong or this another limitation?

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Civil Sections Relocating Themselves Within Model Space

Apr 16, 2012

I am trying to work on a previous file in my office, and when it opens on mycomputer, it does not display as it should.

In general, the purpose of the project is to reinstate the side slopes of a road abutting a river.  Cut & fill sections have been generated on 20m station increments along the road corridor/surfaces in order to calulate cut and fill as well as to reference the design to flood levels.

When I open the file, all of these sections (and there are alot)  have relocated themselves to various locations in model space, none of which are aligned with the viewports that are being used for printing.

Could it be software and/or hardware incompatibility with the computer they were originally created on? (I believe it was created with C3D 2010, or C3D 2011 - I am currently running 2012)

AutoCAD Map 3D :: Using Blocks For Shape File Style / Symbol

Jan 11, 2012

GPS'd fire hydrant locations.  The GPS points were exported to shape files and using Data Connect, these points locate correctly in Map (using version 2009).  The points have default styling...color, shape...and I want to use a CAD block of a fire hydrant to symbolize the points instead of the default square.  Is this possible?

Clicking "Style" on the Display Manager to open the Style Point dialog box.

Next to the heading "Symbol:" clicking the ... button brings me to "Select a Symbol" pop up dialog box.

Next to the "Symbol Library:" drop down box, clicking the ... button brings me to the folder located at C://Program Files/AutoCAD Map 3D 2009/Sample/Symbols. There are 13 DWGs in this folder all called "Map - something.dwg" like "Map - electric.dwg" or "Map - water.dwg.

I can open any of these DWGs and they all provide multiple symbols to choose from in the "Select a Symbol" dialog box.  However, none of these DWGs contain a symbol for a fire hydrant.

What other folders can be navigated to, in order to find other blocks?  Can other CAD blocks be used as shape file symbolization or does the prefix "Map - xxx" in this folder mean that only these specific drawings will open for shape file symbolization?

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Label Corridor FG In Sections

Nov 22, 2011

We have created sections from our corridor. We see FG and EG, we can use bands for EG from surface. How do we get the FG band to show the elevations for FG? The only option we have is the EG surface. We have tried to create a surface form the corridor in the corridor properties but that surface still doesn't show up in the surface list in the bands. I would have thought this info would be dynamic and come directly from the corridor would it not?

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Cut / Fill From Cross Sections

Feb 25, 2013

I am working on a project for a park in which they are looking for a new access road and a parking lot.  I created the road and sections for it, now im looking to get material cut/fill from the sections.  I am having a tough time getting them to work.  The only thing I can get to work is if i created a volume surface comparing my eg to my fg surface.  That will give me a cut and fill material amount for my new road

What i am trying to get is the volume report for each sections, so i can get the cut/fill for each section.  I have followed the tutorials and tried everything, but nothing seems to work.  I created a surface from my corridor, and for some reason when i go to edit my materials, i cant add my proposed surface from my corridor to make the comparison from, and i think thats my problem.  Everytime i go to create my volume report, i get all 0's.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: R / W Lines In Sections Not Displaying?

Jan 25, 2013

I have R/W and Utility lines that I am trying to display in my cross-sections.  I add them as Profile Grade Points to the Sample Lines.  This works well in 4 out of 5 of my corridor drawings, however, 1 of the files does not display these lines in the cross-sections.  I already checked turned-off layers and that's not it.  When I check the individual Section View Properties, these alignments (& corresponding profiles) show up in the list, just not on the actual cross-section.

The problem happens when I create a new drawing and xref the xsec into it. In this new drawing only the right side of my cross sections is showing up. I want to use this drawing for my sheet set rather than have a bunch of tabs in the xsec drawing.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Cross Sections With A Surface Mask

I thought adding a surface mask would cause the proposed surface to stop at the mask, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Why Any Of Subassemblies do Not Plot Correctly In Sections

Sep 25, 2012

I am fairy new to Civil3D, 6 to 8 months, but have extensive knowledge of LDT 15 years. To this date, I still can not figure out why any of my  subassemblies  do not plot correctly in my sections. I have a brief understanding of the targeting scenario for assemblies in Civil3D. If I use one of the typical assemblies from Autodesk, I have no problem. My problem is then I try to create my own assembly using the standards sub-assemblies none of the target points look correct.

The attached is an assembly with roadway overlays, curbs, roadside swales and sidewalks with sideslopes. My basic questions is than, is it Mandatory to select target alignments and surface all every sub-assembly within the assembly.

My thought process was that I just had to pick a profile alignment for the center of the assembly and a target surface for the sideslopes. All the interior sub-assembly parts should float together based on the center profile as they used to with LDT templetes.
