Photoshop Elements :: Editor - Removing Iridescent Marks
Mar 27, 2013I have an old black and white photo that when held at certain angles has what I will describe as iridescent marks that mainly show up on areas that are darker or have shadows. Perhaps something deteriorated in the chemical developing that was originally done. When I download it onto photoshops the markings show up. Has seen this in pictures and the best way to correct it.

Apr 1, 2008Just wondering if anyone knows a great fast way to remove water from a surface in a photo. The water splashes in the photos I am editing appear as dark spots(it is water on an interlocking pool deck), I want to remove the water.
I am currently using a combination of cloning, stamping, copying objects, and playing with brightness and contrast. But it is VERY time consuming. I edit photos of swimming pools quite regularly, and water on decks can be quite a problem, so I need a faster method, if anyone knows of one?
GIMP :: Removing Canvas Marks From Photo Of Painting
Sep 17, 2012I'm trying to clean up an image for a friend. He's a painter and his photo shows all the hatch marks of the canvas. I have tried noise removal but it doesn't remove enough. I have tried despeckle, destripe, deinterlace and antilais. The option that works the best is the oilfy filter but to achieve a good result I lose details in his painting.
I tried to do heal selection but it tells me Error: eval: unbound variable: plug-in-resynthesizer. When i go to the registry i find resynthesizer scripts URL.... I install the scripts but still get the message.
Any other tool or script that will be useful besides healing sections of the photo with the healing brush.

Jun 2, 2004im doing a bifold brochure for a client. the printer wants to see a dotted line to indciate fold marks. not quite sure how to set a dotted line with the "print with preview" menu.
also, on that same menu, the bleed option: does that stretch the edges of the document to create a bleed or do i need to create the document that much larger to compensate for a bleed?

Nov 5, 2008I have created a document that will be cut to 120mm x 120mm, I wanted to include a 10mm bleed around it so I made my Photoshop doc 140mm x 140mm.
When I go to the Print dialogue I have checked "Corner Crop Marks", set the bleed to 10mm and in the preview I can see that the crop marks are inside the image, marking out the correct 120x120 area. However, when I click Print the marks appear on the paper at the 140mm x 140mm area.
Has anyone else had this error, and even more importantly, has anyone found a solution?
I am using Photoshop CS3 (a site license of Web Premium), on a Mac G5 running Windows XP SP2. I have other machines & Photoshop versions available,

Oct 21, 2008How can I create the effect of showing type on water? I don't know if I'm going to explain exactly what I mean, but I am picturing a final product that makes it seem that the type is part of the water body (e.g. ocean waves).
So, the type would float on the waves while being a part of the same water.
