View 5 Replies View RelatedFor some reason when I try to upload my photos it is coming up with an error that states "only letters and numbers are allowed" "Please remove all illegal characters" then it will say "1 of how many" I went into the preferences and changed all of that info under the file information. I am making sure there are no illegal characters there. I am using Lightroom 3.

Then I want to import it as curves. However I get asked again which font I want to use. Afterwards I got a partly mess, becuase Corel Draw X6 only imports a few letters correctly. How can I import all letters and numbers as curves?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIllustrator applies the subscript effect only to numerical characters, e.g. 1,2,etc. But it does NOT apply it to alphabetical characters, e.g. a, b, c etc. I observe this using the default Myriad Pro font, as well as other fonts.
How do I apply subscript to regular letters (not just numbers)?
p.s. I am using the Ctrl+T menu, then go to OpenType tab and select Subscript under Position setting, and observe the issue above. Am I doing something wrong here?
Constructing a grid (centers) with letters and numbers,I follow to set a grid for a plan (All what I need here is a lisp file that provides serial numbers and letters for the grid):
-Grid (centers) are provided to the existing columns
-Circles are plot at the end of these centers to accommodate labels
-Numbers & letters labels are provided
-Numbers and letters are edited to put them in serial order. Here is the issue, as serial number and letter is done manually, then this is a source for errors!
The attached lisp file does do this sort of work but doesn’t allow choosing the direction of numbering lettering! In the same plan, if I need to have the numbers to start from right (instead of starting from left) then this is impossible using that lisp. This is the only part of the code that needs to be enhanced. Also, the “auto number” command does the same thing but work with numbers bit not for letters.
More and more often I come across exhibits where the text has a background mask shaped like the letters and numbers, used in the callout. Typically I see this in GIS software based exhibits. Looking for text that can be used in CAD that functions similiarly? Currently working in 2011 Civil 3d.
View 3 Replies View RelatedLisp file to get serial letters and numbers from existing ones,
I got a lisp file (attached) from experts in the form which does generate serial letters and numbers from existing ones.
The issue with this lisp file is that it doesn’t give the opportunity to choose the direction of numbering (top to bottom/bottom to top/left to right/right to left) as shown in the screenshot below
How this lisp can be developed to give the user the chance to choose the direction of numbering?
I am using a template to create multi photo collage in Photoshop, I can't make the numbers go away. Did it once and saved the file wrong, am now having a print made with numbers on every photo. Very frustrated new user. So far, do not like working with this software. Takes entirely too much time to figure out how to use all the functionality.

I've got my grid & bubbles as a separate construct that I bring into my different plans. When I bring it into my reflected ceiling plan, the grid shows up, the bubble's extension lines show up, but the bubbles and numbers/letters contained within are not showing up in the reflected display...
I am on a project of making 12,500 tickets and so far, I'm at 500 out of 12,500 .. I was just wondering if Photoshop or other Adobe programs can Add Sequential Numbers on a particular area ON a picture,
Example: (this is what i 'm doing, i'm doing it manually, saving it one by one.. and it is taking some time, it's been 2 days already)
then..
and..
and repeat the process again ..
there.. i've tried using recording Action. How to use script, (if i have to use script, can you instruct me on a step-by-step procedure or atleast pinpoint me to a thread that explains it, because the ticket's deadline is on May 4th, and again i have 12,500 tickets to make)
also the way that i print this is first as you can see saving it one by one as .jpeg and selecting 9 of the .jpeg files, right click, then print as wallet size, for it to fit in a 8.5 / 11 paper.. there..
Is there a way of batch processing numbers onto around 400 pictures starting with 001 and so on?

View 6 Replies View RelatedDrawing A has a grid system Xref-ed into it. It also has a block reference in it, repeated in various places throughout the drawing.
I Xref-ed the grid into the block to check something, and now I can't get it out. This means that the grid now repeats all over Drawing A as well and is generally being a nuisance.
If I try to unload the Xref within the block, it unloads it in Drawing A too. If I try to detach it from the block, it returns this message: Xref [Xref name] has multiple references. Not detached. If I try to detach the Xred from Drawing A, it returns the same message.
How do I unload the same Xref that occurs in a block in a drawing, and in the drawing itself, independently of each other?
