Having a problem with Paste and Paste as Block in the right mouse click drop down window.
In the right Mouse click drop down window the Paste, Paste as Block and the Paste to Original Coordinates are grayed out.
The copy with Base Point works, as does the Ctrl+V and Ctrl+Shift+V and repeat Paste Block from the recent Input drop down selection. Why the paste commands are grayed out?
What is the most efficient way to cut and paste a paragraph from Word and paste it as text in AutoCAD ?
View 9 Replies View Relatedhere is the starting text(3 laters total)
Now I want to put all of the text onto a new picture(just text, not the black background, you know what I mean).
But When I try to, I can only select one layer at a time, IE, the gold, the diamonds, etc.
and when i try to line them up on the picture, it isn't successful.
quick question, after you have cut an image out of one picture, And pasted it onto another, is there a way to alter the size of the pasted part of the picture?
I figured out you use the move tool to move the pasted part to where you want it but it's to big, i need to make the paste a bit smaller.
I'm new to CS2 been using Elements 5 and decided to make the move into the big stuff. Took several photos, the one I liked the baby's eyes were half closed. I have another photo where his arms moved...blurred; but his eyes are open wide. How do I copy the open eyes and move them onto the closed eye photo? I did it in Elements but want to learn how to do it in CS2.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI created a selection around a face in one photo, then copied it and tried to paste it into another photo, but it won't paste no matter what I try. The photo I'm copying from is only one layer and I have the move tool selected when I copy. I even created a blank document to paste in that is the same size and resolution as the original photo, but it still won't paste into that either.
What could cause this? And how do I get it to paste again?
This is the first time it happend.. ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedBasicly what I have is a picture on one layer. But I want to take a part of that picture, cut it, and put it on another layer. However, when I use the lasso tool or whatever to select it, I hit Ctrl+X to cut it and Ctrl+V to paste it. It pastes it on a new layer but it's in the center of the image. I want to cut it and paste it in the same spot that I selected it. Is this possible?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to paste guides, or, putting it another way, can I take an image, add guides, erase the image, keep the guides and paste in another image? Everytime I paste in another image I lose the guides. I want to know where I am in the second.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I am having trouble copying and pasting things. The issue is that after I copy something/Print Screen, it takes several pastes for Photoshop to finally realize the change. Basically, the first couple of times I paste, the thing that was previously copied gets pasted it. I don't know if it's making a difference but it switches the paste to the latest thing that was copied faster after I minimize and maximize back the program. It's extremely annoying especially because then I have to either undo each time/delete the layers. Plus, I do a lot of frame comparisons between different video sources and it's hard to tell whether the thing being pasted was changed or not.

View 5 Replies View Relatedhow I can simply copy and paste an area of an image back onto the same image?
On my previous graphics software it was simply a case of highlighting the required area, click 'copy' then click 'paste' and bingo! To copy and paste on Photoshop seems much more involved including a number of complicated steps.
I have two images. In the first image, I use the rectangular marquee to set a selection that is 50x50. I basically want to take a 200x200 selection from a second image and paste into the 50x50 selection. I want the 200x200 selection to display in full when pasted into the destination?
Second question, when using the rectangular marquee is there a way to manually set the width and height to exact numbers via the keyboard?
When i copy or copy merged and paste into a new canvas or layer, i get like a small Gradient round the sides of the image, the Gradient goes white. I know its a Copy problem because if i paste the layer selection into MS Paint it still gets that gradient around the sides.

I commonly need to be able to copy something and then paste in the exact same spot.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

How can I paste without losing the paragraph formatting?
I want to be able to paste a custom shape into a mask layer, for instance a custom shape or some rasterizered text. I cannot create text or a shape in a mask layer as photoshop automatically creates a new layer
