How to make a link clickable in photoshop cs4, say in a banner created in photoshop cs4, like a link to a website or an E-mail, without doing image map, but directly inside of photoshop cs4??
I want to creat a banner with this pic with a backdrop of a skyline or something urban in the background..I saw a tutorial that showed this any ideas on how to get started?
As title says, I create a new Excel Data Link using "Data Link Manager" but it takes forever! If so, how can I get rid of waiting long time when creating/editing a Data Link?
I'm messing around with tables and data links, practicing. I copied a range of cells in Excel, and did paste special to create a linked table.
Now I can delete the table object, but I cannot delete the link, cannot detach it.
When in Data Manager if I right click on the data link and click delete I get the error message "The data link is being used and cannot be deleted".
I have tried detaching, and the detach does not seem to take.
Now also, the table will not update from the source xls.
Win XP, AcadLT 2011, Office 2010. Using compatible setting for saving spreadsheet, for Office 2007 (not xlsx).
If I create a linked table by starting with the Table icon, choose "from a data link", choose the excel spreadsheet, etc., then I am able to later update the table from the spreadsheet, detach, delete the link, etc. But I can only delete the link if the table is not selected when I open the Data Link Manager.
But the one that was created following the directions from the Autocad video, with the copy, paste special, that link will not detach nor delete.
Does anyone have a tutorial on how to create an animated banner. All I want to do is have a banner that shows a business name and then another banner that has the logo and take turns displaying them

The people I'm working for wanted a (huge) banner for their website. So far their site actually has fairly decent look. It's very clean and has moderately saturated blues with white text. So this is what I made this for them.
However they wanted me to adjust it, and it ended up looking like this. Is it just me or is the newer design very tacky? I didn't like the hugeness of the first one, and they ended up wanting it even bigger...
I haven't suggested going back to the old one yet because I'm waiting to hear what other people think.
It's just getting frustrating because their instructions through this whole thing have been incoherent. And it ends up in me having to remake something... and the updated version usually looks worse. It's almost like they don't like my designs because they didn't come up with them.
I have a photoshop document thats like 60"w x 8"h I was wondering where do I go in photoshop to make it print like a banner? I see landscape but won't that just wrap it vertically and not horizontally like a banner?
questions about banners. The banners I make are 100% horrible comapred to these, and I would love to learn the effects
The only effects I have used are darken, soflight, you know. I would love to find out how to make that picture effect on both banners, or if not, something close to that!
I'm trying to create a simple header for a website which starts off at one edge of the page with a straight line and then curves over as it reaches the other end. I want to then fill it with a gradient.
I've tried working with the pen tools and line tools in photoshop but just can't get the curve right and can't then do a gradient fill.
I have to design a 2 x 12 ft banner which is giong to be printed on canvas. I was wondering what the document setup would be for something like this. What would the document size be, and at what dpi should I keep the resolution. And are there any color guidelines when designing for something like this.?
I do not know the 1stthng about PSCS5 or any other art program. Tryin to make a banne w/a jpeg logo, w/a grey background. How do I put grey in the background of my banner?
I have this banner background for a PHP class I'm taking but it seems that a portion on the right hand side is a darker red than the rest. How would I go about getting the red to be consistent throughout the banner.
I have created a nice banner in Photoshop and I would like to add hyperlinks within the banner can I do it in Photoshop or there a special software for that?
I created a design for my fraternity's new rush banner we need to have made. It's going to be 10ft x 8ft. I originally sent the design scalled down to 1000pixels x 800 pixels. The gentleman working with us replied that I must send him the image scaled down at 350 dpi or in real size at 72dpi. After changing the resolution to 350 pixels per inch (I'm assuming that means dpi), I tried scaling it up just to make sure everything looked correct. *The problem is though that when scaled up to 120in X 96in, the text as well as edges of the colors have a haze around them. Will this come out when printed?
I am thinking of creating a few animated gifs for standard sized banners. I see alot of banners having random people in them, or cars or animals, etc.. anything that will make the banner look more professional and to the point. how do you get those images? Surely the artist doesn't go around the street snapping photos of people and then transfer them onto to the computer. Is there a database of these pics people can use?
