I was just wondering whether or not it was possible to ad watermarks to images using CS6 Extended? I have tried searching the videos and tutorials and can't find anything... Only stuff on CS5 (re: watermarks anyway).
View 4 RepliesCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
I am looking to get a custom tag/signature made to put on my photos that I post online so that they are kind of copyrighted.

I watermarked alot of photos I took recently of a newborn and family, edited them and moved them to my Smugmug account only to realize that the watermark made in PS elements11 stays on during print. View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm using Elements 11. In order to add watermarks to many JPG pics at once, I use the function "Process Multiple Files".
I select a source folder and a destination folder, and adds a three digit serial number to each file. I do NOT tick the checkbox marked "Change picture size". After that I define the watermark I want printed on my pics and hits OK. All the files in the source folder are processed and saved, with a new name in the destination folder. Fair and square.
But. The file size of the new file is heavily reduced, compared to the original. It goes from 10 MB down to 500 KB (in general). Why is that? Is there any way I can prevent it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a project where I need to export hundreds of custom images for use on a website. Each image needs to have a watermark on it. So I created the watermark in Illustrator, then placed it into a 900 pixel x 900 pixel file and saved for web as a PNG-24 with transparency.
When I export images form LR3 using the above graphic as a watermark the image quality is great, but the watermark has rough edges and is pixelated at any setting under 2500 pixels. I need to output down as small as 150, 225 and 250 pixels. I can do this in photoshop and the watermark looks great. Yet from LR the quality is noticably bad. See the attached file.

After I created the user preset and watermark, and also became more comfortable with the program and understanding what all settings meant, I wanted to edit them saving them under the same name, hoping to replace previous settings. However all I got was a notice that "The name is already in use." This then caused me to save the settings as a new preset and watermark. I was just wondering if there was a way to delete those original presets that I am not happy with?
