whilst looking at watermarking techniques in PS6, I have inadvertantly added "Copyright Eric Hall" which is attached to all of the images I convert from RAW to JPEG. All of the images I upload to Facebook have this copyright notice attached.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI posted a copyright notice on my webpage asking people specifically not to abuse the copyright of my colourised images. These images are mainly 1900-1950's actresses, you know the sort of thing, Lillian Gish - Liz Taylor. Anyway, someone on the Louise Brooks forum said a friend had questioned my right to colourise these images in the first place, then claim copyright on what I had done. Now I don't want to be in the wrong, not to mention claim what I don't have a right to. Can someone "briefly" advise here. All I am saying, basically, is please do not use my work on your webpage, without asking.
If I have no right to ownership, should I remove my newly uploaded website and images? There are so many others on the net that I feel the "original" owners accept that's how it is. After all, I have never in 8 years of being online heard of any complaints, not to mention prosecutions.

Trying to make sure my cllients do not have access to my shooting details. IE: shutter speed, F stop etc.
I do not want to remove metadata individually as I have 100's of images to work with.
Is there a one click method to doing this or a way to do it through batch process?
It was mentioned on this forum that there's a 3rd party software but it's hard to believe that this cant be easily done in Photoshop.

Is clipping path the same as deepetching. deepetch.com seems to be one good one, I also saw lazy mask.com and digital-media-tech.com. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing. My catalog has over 300 images of jewelery and jackets with fur fitted on manequins due in two weeks, all shot on a blue studio background. Do I require alpha channel masking?

View 8 Replies View Related40+ years ago I bought a book from a dealer who sold antique Scottish books. It is A4 in size and has 400 B/W photographs of Scotland.
There is no date in the book but the pictures are late 19th century & early 20th century. There is a reference in it regarding the opening of a new railway line. That line was opened in 1908 and I'm guessing the book is circa 1910.
A few years ago I scanned into my computer several of the views. Like a lot of early photographs the skies are almost non existent. I took out the castles, bridges, etc and made up my own skies in KPT 6.
The finished results are A3 in size.
My question is - is the copyright still valid on the book or am I free to do whatever I want with them?
By the way the company who photographed and published the book is still in existence. Also I'm from Scotland but I'm curious as to how the book would stand regarding copyright throughout the world.
I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 for school. I recently installed it on my computer on 1/8/14 and registered it 1/13/14. I went to get it in yesterday and I received a notice that my trial version has expired and am unable to get in to photoshop completely. I have the product serial number or license and it is in my profile. I don't recall doing it but I might have downloaded a trial verious last year. how do I remove that trial version and begin using my licensed version? I have assignments due and it's hard to get them done when I can't even access my program.

Magically all my old Flash files have movement again.Trouble is every couple of days Flash somehow updates itself back to the current 10.1.something and the old files stop working again.Is there a way to stop Flash from updating automatically?

Dimensions placed in paperspace that are scaled by the viewports, change on their own. This happens at no apparent frequency. And for no apparent reason.
This has happened after I've saved a drawing and reopened. Also has happened when I've moved or stretched a viewport.
Currently I am using Autocad 2012, but this has been happening for some years.

I download Manga Stream manga for offline reading, the only that bugs is that each image has the nasty Manga Stream watermark on it which just ruins the reading for me.
How I can remove the watermark? These are 2 of the images I'm attempting to remove the watermark from.
Is there an EASY way to remove the background from a photo and make it completely white? I mean, no "magic wand" or transparency %, etc... just a button I can hit to "remove background"... reason being, I need to do this for hundreds of images and it would be very time consuming to do it with the wand, etc.

I purchased the "Duplicate Finder" plug-in, which indeed finds the duplicates, but ther eis no way to simply delete them. I would imagine many users have been through this at some point and hope there is a relatively simple way to get my catalog under control.
1. I am making a .gif with 57 images [black silhouette] with a white background. Is there any way I can remove the background from all of the images at once (like a batch tool) rather than going through each one of them?
2. If I make a change to one image i.e. crop an image and resize it, is there a way to effect that change to all of the images Vs going through each one?
I'm using LR 4.4 on an iMac with OsX 10.8.3. As suggested in the following link [URL]...I created a Filename Preset with this format: Myname-YYYY-MM-DD-Filename Number Suffix. This preset works as expected when I export files that haven't been edited in Photoshop CS5. However, when I save a file after editing in PS and return to LR the file name look like this: Myname-YYYY-MM-DD-4369-Edit.tif. When I then use my Filename Preset when exporting, LR strips off the "-4369-Edit". I don't care about loosing the "-Edit" but I want to retain the Filename Number Suffix. How can I retain my filename number suffix?

Granted, I know that the watermark is there to prevent a picture as being claimed by someone else. However if that picture is changed and no longer the original, is it then fair game to remove the watermark?
I created a custom brush with my logo on it and then created an action that puts my copyright logo as watermark. The problem is copyright logo gets placed on different places on different size image. For example, I created the action to put logo on the lower right hand corner of a standard 800x640 pixel horizontal image. When I run this action on a vertical image, logo gets placed somewhere on the top. If the image is in higher resolution, logo gets placed somewhere in the middle.
How can I modify the action so the copyright logo gets placed in the same place? I guess I am thinking if there is a way I could calculate the image size and put the logo from certain percentage away from the lower end corner automatically?
