I hate fonts. And they hate me. My PS CS6 font list rather random. Makes finding fonts very clumsy and time-consuming.Is there way to get fonts to behave a little better here? why oh why isn't there an option that organizes fonts alphabetically using their screen name?
With so many choices, it would be nice to have an option for alphabetically sorting by the extension.

I have tried to change the Window XP screen resolution.
How should I see or view my fonts as used to?
Also tried to increase & decrease the image file size - still can't see them.
All that can be seen are blurry objects about 2 pts small(When actually they are 70pts on the handle!)
I can't open the full screen view/edit option in the organizer. It keeps 'pinging' me...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI imported a number of Powerpoint slides into VideoStudio Pro X6 and am now recording voice audio for them. My problem is: I don't know how to stretch each slide's duration to match its audio. By default, all the slides came in with a 3 sec duration. I can increase each to a max of 6 sec, but that's not long enough for my audio.
I've dug around the internet and watched tutorials on Corel's site, but they don't work. Everything I've looked at (even page 60 in the User's Guide for X5) says that to change a photo's duration, double-click it and select "Speed/Time-Lapse" on the Edit screen.
When I double-click a photo, there isn't a "Speed/Time-Lapse" option on my Edit screen (see image). So how am I supposed to change the slide's duration?

The only problem I am having is that when I reconnect to these files (in a different autocad file) using FDO and viewing the Data Table the columns are all displayed in alphabetical order, not the order in which they were orginally created.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIn LR5 I wish to sort by file name. However my camera names files as ABC123, ABC124, ABC125 etc etc. Lightroom sorts such names as ABC3, ABC2, ABC5 etc because the numeral part of the name is looked as as an ascii not a numeral. I think!!
However whatever the reason, sorting such file names doesn't work. As each import may consist of several hundred files, renaming manually to avoid numerals isn't an option.
Is there a naming system that can be automated that would result in this type of sorting resulting in what a human would expect?
Filenames such as Garden(1), Garden(2) etc are no better by the way.
Is there anyway to turn off sorting alphabetically in the media library? I really dont need this feature and in the versions of the past I was free to organize however I wanted.

Normally you just click the title in these windows to toggle the way it sorts it, but you cannot do that with this tool. Its making my cut/fill report look messy, as the surface volumes are not in any order.

I want to see "resent" fonts when choosing, be able to type letter to get down the list quickly, group similar fonts, etc. Maybe have a magnifying glass attached to cursor to see fonts better.... Why have this not been done?

Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
It used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have. I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu. Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files. The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
I have put some new fonts into C:/windows/fonts and they have come up in other programs e.g. Microsoft office but they are not showing up in photoshop.
i am using vista home premium with SP1 and it is 32bit and photoshop cs4.

View 10 Replies View Relatednever knew there has a font folder in the user profile for Gimp until I wiped my user profile and moved all patterns, gradients, brushes, etc I have been putting in the program folder to the user profile folder because I read on here that it is better to keep all that stuff in the user profile folder of Gimp... my question is, what is the difference between installing your fonts into the system and placing them into the fonts folder in Gimp (besides all programs being able to use them)?? I've been installing all my fonts into the system I wanna use in Gimp... is it better to use the font folder in the Gimp user profile or to install them into the system?

I think you should read the original mail again. Hint: "system fonts not shown" is not the problem, but the desired outcome.I have accidentally read a "not" into the original mail, thus it became "to get Gimp to *not* only show fonts from the user/fonts file"
The configuration to check is the fonconfig settings then, for example the the global, system-wide fonts.conf file. It may contain references to the global font directories, for example /usr/share/fonts/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts. URL....
If you comment those out, then you can (and have to) add all font directories in GIMP's settings, for example.

I can go in and manually change it from yellow to the ten plus other colors, but I just want yellow completely out of the list. It's awful to look at, and I think every other color is easier.
