View 6 RepliesI have been using PSE 8 for a while, and recently installed the version 11 trial copy to see if it made sense for me to upgrade. Everything seemed to be going OK (PSE 11 converted my PSE 8 catalog OK etc.) until tonight.
Â
A few minutes ago, I tried to open up version 11 and it gave me an error (#6) that said there was a configuration error and I needed to uninstall and reinstall version 11.
Â
So, I uninstalled version 11. That seemed to go fine.
Â
However, before trying to re-install version 11 I decided to play around with version 8 for a while. Only now, every time I double-click on my PSE version 8 shortcuts (one for the main program, one for the organizer), I get a screen asking me to agree to the Adobe software license. I click "accept" but then the license screen just goes away and the program never starts.

View 2 Replies View Relatedwhen i make my brush size very small (to the point that its only like 4pixels dot on the screen), a crosshair symbol automatically appears around it which makes it hard to see the cursor's surroundings when working on small details without zooming in alot (which would make a 4px cursor appear bigger thus losing the crosshair again). I guess this feature is there for people that might have trouble locating small cursors, but on a large tablet that allows very fast work without having to zoom in much, this makes things harder. Is there a way to disable this or modify some files or "hack" the cursor icons somehow and delete it?
Â
(Tried all possible combinations of the PS prefferences but none of it seemed to be related to the cursor becoming a crosshair once the brush size gets very small relative to screenresolution)
When opening up an AutoCAD drawing (double clicking the target drawing, no other autocad files open) the drawing opens up and the AutoDesk Exchange Welcome screen also opens up that is unnecessary and I have to close it out. I can't figure out why this is occurring or how to disable this. No other windows or options occur that asks me to disable this.
I recently reinstalled AutoCAD and am happy with everything else, it seems that when it comes to AutoCAD.
Is it possible to disable screen updating in illustrator whilst running a script and if so how?
Â
I have developed some scripts to create artwork in Illustrator but I would like to speed them up and presumably avoiding having to watch it happen on the screen would work with this.
I am using iLogic to change assembly dimensions, suppress components and constrains. Is there any way to turn off screen updating while iLogic rules are running?

We are launching Autocad 2014 in a multiuser environment and trying to determine how to stop the WELCOME screen from appearing.
The /nologo switch is for a different screen. Need per user or prefer per computer registry setting to turn off the Welcome Screen.
Thought it was InfoCenteron key,set to 0, but that was not it.
Thought it might be MC3 key, but not there either.
I downloaded the trial for it and when I tried to open it, I got the License is expired messages so after looking online for a while, I found a License Recovery program. So I ran that and I did everything it said twice and it still won't work.Is there a solution to this?I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times already.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been running PS6 x32 on my Windows desktop.  Now I have added a Windows 8 laptop. When I try to install PS6 x64 on my new laptop under the same license, I get this error message: "Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer." Should I install x32, or is this a different problem?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just uninstalled Photoshop from an old computer since I am moving everything to a new system. I noticed it gave an option to save the license. So, now I need to know how to move that to my new computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was looking for a copy of Photoshop 6.0, and found this [link deleted] website selling the license only without the actual CD. I've never heard of such practices, and recently got burned on eBay, so I'm wanting to make sure this is legitimate.
Does Adobe sell serial numbers without media?
i'd like to know wether it was forbidden to use Photoshop without paying that much, for a personal use (or in extension until where is it considered illegal, for example for an association poster, for just the family)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI live most of the year in one place and have CS3 installed on the desktop and the laptop for travel. BUT we spend a month or two at another location where I also have a desktop and good monitor. Do I have to suspend or uninstall CS3 on the desktop at the original location in order to be able to use it on the desktop at the other location? I would hate to have to reset all preferences, etc when I come back to the original location.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Windows XP with Production premium installed. I also have a laptop with Windows 7 RC, with parts of Production Premium (programs i use the most) installed on it too. I've done this to test production premium on Windows 7 as my secondary computer usage of the license (Single User). However, Windows 7 will eventually be deactivated on my laptop early next year by Microsoft, so my question is, if i tell production premium to deactivate on my laptop, will it affect my primary instalation on my XP PC? I do plan to get 7 for my PC as a full-use OS to fully replace XP when it comes out, but deactivating the product then and reactivation after instalation of 7 should work fine,

In video (zipped MP4)Â you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
