I must do a little job of removing background from lots of people pictures. Most of the pictures are of face only, but they were taken in public spaces, and they have background which I must remove.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI use different plugins to enhance lightroom (4.1 at this time). Sometimes I am not happy with a plugin, and remove it. This plugin may however add data to the catalog, which may increase its size.
I think that when you remove a plugin, all the related data (if any) remain in the catalog. So my question is : is it possible to remove unwanted data from a catalog -- without of course changing anything to the regular LR data ?
I have created artwork in Photoshop and my dpi was set at 72 dpi for web display. Now I would like to print these but at 300dpi. If I change the dpi it reduces the physical size of my original image and I am afraid that the final print quality will be compromised. How can I be sure that my original image quality will be preserved? Also my original physical document size ranges anywhere from 7-8 inches wide to 8-10 inches high.

I'm just starting out trying to make a plugin for Illustrator CC and have been a bit stuck the past few days, so I have a few questions. The plugin I'm trying to make would have it where when you mouse over a path, an annotation pops up to display the length of the path, reguardless of what tool you have selected.
The major question I have is if it is possible to make a plugin that runs in the background without having to select it as a tool?
I've been going over the SDK and guides and have tried altering the annotator sample project along with trying to make it from scratch, but I haven't gotten the results I want. I got Annotator to display the length of paths, but I can't remove it's tool properties or make it run like it's always selected. When I've been tryng to build from scratch, I don't see how to track the cursor since it seems to need the AIToolSuite. I've also tried to use AINotifierSuite with kAIArtSelectionChangedNotifier, but haven't gotten it to work correctly and it wouldn't work just by mousing over paths if I had.

I have been working exclusively in Photoshop, but a printer has asked me to provide files in illustrator. The files are for a 1:1 print job (packaging) and do not need to be enlarged. Is there any reason why a printer would not be able to use Photoshop files? Also is there a way to convert the files to illustrator or an equivalent without any loss of quality?

Does any one know of a tutorial or reference guide that takes you through the techniques? I know it's a huge topic but I know my way round Photoshop and I'm keen to know the techniques rather than a step-by-step guide.
