How do I get it to stay the size I put it at. My goal is to fade the edges and then slide it over to another picture but the whole picture slides over instead of the lasso section.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am evaluating 3DSMax 2013 and my last version of Max was 6. When I turn my viewports to shaded, the viewports fade to black. The objects and everything are still there, and it seems like there is no light source. If I move an object around, the viewport lights back up, yet as soon as I am done moving it, it fades to black again. Is this a preference setting I have missed or something?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI would like to add some black boarders to my fotos that fade to transparent. a little bit like this [URL]But with the difference that I dont need the boarders to be really really dark. they sould be more transparent where I can still see some of the details of the foto layer beneath. The idea is more to give my pictures some slightly darker boarders so that I can print them out and they look somehow similar when I put them on the wall...
So theoretically i thought of adding a new layer, make a rounded selection, invert the selection and use the blend tool from black to transparent (if this is somehow possible). But maybe there is an easier or better way or maybe there exist some additonal plugins where I can do some simple foto things like that with a already existing filter?

How I can fade a picture to the exact color of the background, i.e. the edge of the picture disappears and smoothly transitions into the background color? All fading I have tried sofar still leaves an edge of the picture visible, contrasting with the background.

I have read the blend tool tutorial in the user manual but all I can get to hap pen is a black and white gradient completely covering my image. I have tried adding a transparent layer over the image and applying the gradient to it but for some reason when one side of the image (using the linear mode) starts to get darker, the other side gets lighter, creating a severely distorted contrast with the image, plus the fade covers an entire half of the image.

every time I zoom OR when I will ad a Font the Picture goes to black, when I zoom in or out than a bit it changes to normal again.When I type then with a Font it changes black again until I zoom in or out a bit again.This is really annoying when I try to work cause it really takes time I don't have
Photoshop runs on the HD 3000 as far as I see (cause in the Options I only can choose this card uhm, the GeForce 540 activates first when the Graphpower from the HD3000 is to less in the Intel Drivers opinion).

I notice that when it is in black and white it is actually in about 10 shades of gray as well. I need it to be only in black and white. It would also be nice to know how to turn a colored photo into maybe four or five different colors and still have it look somewhat normal.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am working on a project that has 10,000 glass pieces in it, but it revolves around knowing how to do these things.

What I would like to do is remove only the black and gray lines (when they print out of the EKG machine some lines have some gray in them) and place them on a neater cleaner background as below
(The image above I found on a website where the creator has 100's of EKGs that this has been done with, but have been unable to get him to tell me how it was done)
Also let me know if another Adobe product would be more useful in this situation. I have CS6 Master Collection so you know what programs I have available to use.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Photoshops CS6 when applying an Iris blur the picture turns black. When I move the pins around I see the picture but this goes away as soon as no pin is moved.
This behaviour has been reported on other webpages before but there has been no solution and people think it is caused by a graphics driver bug. I have updated the latest Photoshop and system updates.

I have a picture that I would like to make black and white but with some colour. From what I can gather, I've to make the picture black and white and then add the colour to the bits I need after, however, the bit I want to remain in colour is a flower and the way the light hits it, the red is in different shades, making it impossible for me to colour it back exactly how it is.
Is there a simpler way...like select the parts I want to go black and white?
would like to use it to start making my pics stand out more. My first experiment is to make a colour pic into black and white, THEN bring back the original colours in certain parts of the pic. ie i have a pic of an old steam train, and i want to leave the surroundings in colour, but turn the steam train in the picture to black and white. I have been advised on less photoshop specific forums, to turn the whole pic to B&W, then use the history brush to bring back the colour to the parts of the pic i want to be in colour.
