Lightroom :: How To Upload Raw Files From Canon 5D Mark III
Feb 20, 2013I have just tried to upload Raw files from a Canon 5d Mark III to Lightroom 3. The file were not recognised. I believe there were some update issues but my Lightroom 3 is updated. Do I need to get Lightroom 4? I need to know urgently as I have a shoot tomorrow and will go back to my Mrk II if I can't get an update for Lightroom 3.

May 27, 2013I recently traded in my Canon T3i for a T4i, and now PS Elements 10 won't open the CR2 RAW files from this camera. According to "Help - Plug In" I have V 6.7, so I went to the Adobe site which said I needed V 7.1, which I download, and extracted, but it won't install it in the software; when I click on the extracted AdobePatchInstaller application, I get a message stating "Update Failed" and "this patch is not applicable for you". Also, when I click "Help-Updates" it tells me everything is up to date.

Mar 3, 2013I am currently using a trial version of Elements 11 which has camera raw ver.7.3.071. I can not see any previews of raw files in the organizer or editor for the Canon G15. I can however import the raw file and then open it to view or edit it. Without the preview option, browsing for your photos is impossible.

We have two Canon cameras - a 450D and a 650D - and have taken RAWs on both. The 450 works fine with PSE6, but we can't get PSE 9 to take a RAW converter new enough to read the 650 files.
We don't really understand the difference between CR2 and DNG so don't know what we might lose if we used the DNG converter for the 650 RAW files.
