Photoshop Elements :: Output Of 4 Minute Slideshow To WMV
Mar 8, 2013
When I try to output a 4 minute slideshow to WMV. the file saved is the correct length but has only converted half the content of the slide show, halfway through the audio continues but it freezes on one photo. last week I made a 7 minute slide show with the same settings and jepg. sizes and it worked fine? I am opening Organizer as Administrator. I have Windows 8. As a last resort I was going to re-install Elements 10 but I can't deactivate it.
I tried many times to output a slideshow to DVD on PSE 8, and it crashed. A message will say that it has stopped working. Possibly could I solve the problem by re-installing PSE 8? If so, do I need to uninstall first? And any chance of getting media catalog or saved albums?
PSE10 in Windows 7 environment. Slideshow original images are stored on external drive
I successfully output a short slideshow to .wmv. When I tried to repeat the output a number of images were missing, these were photos input as graphics direct from files on the external drive. At first it was only two specific images but later attempts others were missing. I even tried changing an image in one of the effected slides and the same problem arose
Over the course of the attempts I received the following error messages:-
I recently purchased Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12.
I want to create a professional slide show for Maximum Quality output for an HD monitor for an upcoming trade show.
It seems to me based on what I could find on the Adobe website and tutorials that creating my slideshow in Photoshop Elements 12 slideshow maker has limited quality output. You cannot, for example, output to 1920X1080 or even 1440 X 1080.
This leads me to consider Premiere Elements for a more manual slideshow construction. My idea is to create each individual slide, custom, (in high quality jpeg) with great care in Photoshop Elements with very large (high quality) frame sizes (they say up to 4096 x 4096), I was thinking more like double 1920X1080, ie: 3096X2160. I imagine that this will guarantee covering the entire monitors real estate, guarantee continuity between all slides, and display an over all professional look. (Even though this is much more work than just whipping a bunch of jpegs of various sizes into Photoshop Elements Slideshow creator).
Once I have all of my custom slides in that large size, my idea is I'll import each one and then use Premier Elements to drive the slide show functionality and ultimately the high resolution export file for application.
Am I on the right track here? Is there some standard guildlines and tools in the industry for me to consider before I attempt to create my first professional slide show?
I have Photoshop Elements 4.0, and am getting started moving around and playing with the program.
I have compiled and saved a slideshow with audio, and am pleased with the outcome, HOWEVER........when I try to record it to a DVD it won't allow it (says wrong media) and will only let me record to a CD-R. (Yes....it's a DVD recorder) Afterwards, the CD-R won't play on my DVD player.
I received a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 with a Epson Scanner. I want to make a basic DVD slide show (interactive) that can be viewed on a TV. I do not need audio or any other options.
The program said I would have to upgrade to Adobe Premier Element to do that, but when I checked the specs on Adobe Premier Elements 11, It did not give any indication that I could do that.Everything appeared to be for video and adding a multitude of options (that I do not want or need). What do I need to make a basic DVD slide show for TV?
I have a 29 minute slideshow (photos, music and transitions) made using PSE 11 Organizer on a Win 7 platform. I can play the slideshow on my computer, The program stops when trying to output to a CD.
My Photoshop CS3 (Windows XP) all of a sudden takes over a minute to open any file. The programs starts fine, then when I select a file to open, the program pauses, then hangs for over a minute and the photoshop window becomes blank before the file finally appears.
I am trying to add an mp3 purchased from Amazon to a slide show. I'm getting a message that I don't have a compressor / decompressor? how to add music?
Have P E 5. Wish to create and display slide shows on HDTV. Have created a show, but just learned that my version cannot burn the show to DVD. Are there other options? Does the latest version 10 have this feature?
I am trying to add music to my slide show and I get this error: The selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compressor/decompressor (codec) installed. I went to the Adobe site and downloaded a codec program, and restarted but still got the same error.
I have PSE 11. I created a slideshow and output it to a CD for a VCD. My TV, 2 years old, wont recognise the format. How do I get a CD or DVD that will play my slide show on TV?
I made my first attempt with my new photo shop Elements 11 and adobe Premier, to burn a slideshow using photos and music. I was able to burn it with no difficulty but some of my photos had been turned sideways on the finished disc. They were not this way on the slideshow. How can I correct this for a reburn?
I am using PSE 11 and am trying to add music to a slideshow and can't get anything to load other than the pre-recorded background music I am trying to transfer music from my i tunes library but it won't load.
I created a slide show in PSE 11 with sound, zooms, text clouds, etc. Now I'm trying to burn the show to a DVD to show on another computer. I am able to do this except that the photos in the slide show copy are unacceptably fuzzy whether I use it on a computer or a DVD player. Every avenue I have tried produces the same result.
I created a slide show in PSE 10 Organizer. I would like to add music background. PSE 10 will not load music files from Youtube that have been converted into MP3 format using a free converter program called FLVTO (URL...).I get an error message: " Unable to add the audio file [filename]. The selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compressor/decompressor or the codec is not installed".
I'm not getting an error or anything, but the blue grid that follows the area being rendered eventually stops moving, and Photoshop becomes frozen at that point. I have to use the Task Manager to shut it down.
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit) RAM: 6 GB
I used Catalyst to install all the latest drivers. I did that when I had CS5. I was trying to do 3D stuff with CS5, but that version wasn't able to detect my GPU, so I got CS6. I've been doing 3D stuff for the past couple days without much issue. I mean, the rendering was slow, but never halted.
I thought maybe it was the size of my document, so I reduced the size, and the rendering process got a little further, but still eventually crashed.
I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, but not Premiere Elements. I'm creating a slide show of 415 photos, and I added a soundtrack with about 10 music tracks. All the music tracks have been copied from music CDs. It works fine in Preview mode; but when I save it as a .pdf file, it won't play back with the entire soundtrack. The sound stops after about 2 tracks, and I get an error message. The error message reads:
Warning: Java Script writer
Acrobat has encountered an error while playing this media clip.
It doesn't appear to be a file size problem. I've tried saving it as a medium size file, instead of a large file, but I still get the same error message when I open the saved file. (The large file is 170 MB; the medium file is 134 MB.) Also, there doesn't seem to be a problem, if I only include 2 music tracks.
Does Elements 5.0 support this kind of soundtrack? Will it work if I get Premiere Elements 3.0? Or do I need to get Elements 6.0 and Premiere Elements 4.0?
After creating a slide show in Photoshop elements 12, I saved it in PDF form. When I let it run, Pictures only come on full screen. I can navigate slides with keyboard forward and back, but not stop or freeze a picture. Is there any Key or combination for "Pause" ? Is the show controlled by Windows (Vista) or by Acrobat Reader or even by Photoshop?
Can I CREATE a photo SLIDESHOW on Photoshop Elements 12 (for MAC)??Photoshop 9 does NOT have the feature,Also, can I burn such a project to Blu-Ray (I have Premeire 12 installed on my I-Mac).
I am using photoshop elements 5 to make a slide show. After previewing it there were many RANDOM slides where the picture was no longer there, just a COMPLETELY BLACK SLIDE. How do I recover these? I cannot possibly remember which pictures were in all of the spots.
