in photoshop elements 12 i try to select multiple people to view in organize but can only select one person at a time. if I try to select two or more people to see their pictures, I get nothing. I try to use CTL-click, but that does not work
View 6 RepliesI recently upgraded from PSE 10 to PSE 11. I already used tags to identify People by name. However, in the new People View not all of my people tags are present as People Stacks despite running the face recognition function. If I use the Add People function it just runs the face recognition feature that I have already run and named the specific person I want to see in the stacks.Strange thing is when I click the Add Group button I can see the missing people but do not know how to get them shown in the People Stacks?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've just started using PSE 11 Organizer and tried to add some of my pictures to People. I selected several photos in the Media Room and then clicked the Add people button. After a brief time, a dialog momentarily appeared and then immediatly closed and a ghost message appeared saying "No new people in your selection". I tried other different selections but all with the same result. I checked the People tab and there are no people listed there.

If I select two or more photos, then the people are no longer listed in the "image tags" info area, and the right-click menu does not list them under keyword tags to remove, it only shows "add person" not "remove person." Ctrl+1 gives me pictures. But those includes bmp, psd, png, etc.
Find with search for filename. But I can't seem to do a *.jpg.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have about 11,000 pix in PSE 11 and growing, all of a large family. Using 'Add People" in organizer worked well up till I reached 9,000 pix. I get the msg that all faces have been tagged. I've been scanning about 300 pix from our old albums and always try to add people after each group. I am not even getting the "Is this a person" message. I can go to each batch and manually answer "Who is this? Database size problem??

Imported some media, and no problems with thumbnails.Only the next time I tried to add media, the thumbnails show 'hourglass' .. when I click on the hourglass, the photo's are there. I imported all my pictures into Organizer. As it turns out, that included dozens of subfolders containing near-duplicate images, which now all show up in Organizer. That is because I previously used Google Picasa, which backs up the unprocessed original images into a subfolder called .picasaoriginals. I want to remove all these .picasaoriginals folders, but the only wny I can find to do it is to right-click each one individually, click Delete Folder, then confirm in the dialog box. I can't find any way to multi-select the folders.
Also, I have two of these folders that appear shaded in the folder list, where the option to delete is greyed-out. The contents report as not found, and my guess is that the folders have been deleted from the disk. How do I get rid of these from the folder list in Organizer?
I cannot select more than 1 tag and drag & drop them onto pic. PE12 forces me to apply 1 at a time. PE11 worked fine

I am trying to copy photos from one folder to another, leaving them in the original folder and have them show in the organizer in the new folder.
I find I can duplicate the photo and then drag and drop it, but each step takes literally a minute to complete (in explorer it is 1 second or less). To move a hundred photos one at a time to different folders would take quite a while.
so I tried to pull them in from the FILE button get new files and it won't because the photo exists in another folder in the catalog.
