Nov 22, 2013Elements 10 is unable to recognize RAW files from my Powershot G15 but is fine with EOS 600D. Camera RAW has been updated but no difference.

Aug 31, 2012I just installed Corel 13 to my new computer, but it isn't recognizing the text in any of the files from my previous computer. Granted, the files on my previous computer were in an older version of Corel, but that shouldn't be an issue. I can add text to a new document, but even when importing a pdf, the text in the file disappears.
If you drag to select the area where the text should be, it recognizes that something is there. However, you can't see anything or do anything with it. I ran the repair on the installation CD, but I am still having the same problem.
Lightroom :: Unable To Import Or Recognize Nikon D800 RAW Files On Mac
Jul 12, 2012I've been trying to figure this out for over a week since I got my D800 and am not making any progress. I am using LightRoom 4.1 and Adobe Camera Raw 7.1 on a Mac OS X v10.6.8.
I read that I need ACR 6.7 in order to recognize the D800 NEF files, but I don't know how to remove 7.1. I tried deleting ACR from my .library folder and reinstalling 6.7 but it still says it's 7.1 when I open up LR4.1 again. Also, I only have Photoshop CS5 and I read that 7.1 supports the D800 NEF files in CS6 only.
On a probably unrelated note, I bought the educational version of LR4 and when I go back to my email that contained the download link, it shows a blank page on "My Orders" even though I've purchased this and other educational versions from Adobe in the last few years. I got the LR4.1 download file and reinstalled after removing the release candidate I was checking out, but wasn't prompted for my registration code that was in my purchase email.

May 17, 2013I previously had a D3000 and was able to open NEF files in Elements 9 with ACR. Having upgrade to a D3200, Elements 9 won't open or even recognize the NEF files. I have contacted Nikon, but they say that the files from the D3200 are 'not compatible'.
