I am trying to duplicate the editing on this picture, but I have very little experience with Photoshop. Look at the unedited (top) compared to the edited (bottom) what might have been done to achieve the edited effects?
View 1 RepliesI had a batch of 42 photos and laboriously entered titles for each one. At about the 40th, I discovered the program had copied into all the picture titles the most recent title entered. So it had overwritten my work. I started over and entered titles again. This was not a synch action on my part and there were no efforts to have a repetitious action that might apply to the pictures included in my collection.
I will understand this is probably some kind of "feature" but if so where do I turn it off? This is Lightroom 4 and involves both raw and jpg files.
I've imported a load photos and now i want to edit them. Currently they are rectanclar but i would like to have them so that only a oval portion is displayed and then have the edges fading in.
Im using Photoshop 6.0.
1. Can we duplicate a selection (not the contents) ?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am tryign to duplicate a vector shaped star many times at the moment all i can do is duplicate the layer it is on.
this is fine but iam gogin to end up with about 100 layers. is there anway of copying/cloning a vector shape i can rasterise it if needed but this hasent helped.
in case its important i have two suplicated layers of test i want to remove star shapes from the top layer so the bottom layer comes through so you have text with stars in.
After editing a jpg picture, sometimes when I go to file, save as, it will be greyed out. I then have to close the program and start over.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to upload a picture to edit on photoshot it tells me "Could not complete your request because it's not valid Photoshop document". I don't understand what this means. Why can't I upload my picture? Am I clicking the wrong thing? I go under "File" in the upper left corner and scroll to "Open As... Alt+Shift+Ctrl+O" then it brings me to my photos I have saved on my computer, then I click on the photo I want to edit but the "Error" sign pops up. I'm using the 30 day trial so I dont have much time!

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn older versions of xara you could set the duplication distance to 0 X 0 for all documents. In the new Pro 7 it appears that the duplication can only be set for each document. Am I missing something? I always want the duplicated object to appear on top of the original. Can I do that somehow (without having to set that per document?) Also, the help files say that Control D will duplicate like it used to in xara xtreme, but I can't get that keyboard command to produce results. Is this a glitch or is it intended that way? Control, Alt, D does duplicate but that's clumsy.

Observed Result:
You seem to get the CFX tree, but possibly inserted twice into the new CFX on the target clip.
Desired Result:
CFX tree should only be copied once into the new clip.
I made an illustration to show what I need, I guess it's easier to understand than my explanation below...
QUESTION: I have a circle. I want to make a copy of this circle for, say, 80 % of the original size. I'd like to repeat the duplication so the next copy have the same distance to the second circle as between the first two circles (in other word the percentage would change between tranformations) - and so on.
Hopefully there is some easy way to achieve this so I don't have to do it manually.
(Btw, I use CS5)
I must have accidentally ticked something because all of a sudden Lightroom 4.3 has started to import an original filename.tif file and also copy it to filename -2.tif, doubling up each file. What do I have do to change to stop this?

I would like to know whether Corel Draw can fill a shape with another shape or object/icon so that it gets scaled to the shape size. As in this picture: [URL] ...
As you see the shape is a text/font and it's filled with diamonds (it's not simply following a path). If it's not handmade I assume the automatism works like that: there is only 1 diamond = the object, and the object gets duplicated through the entire shape and resized so it fits.
It appears Adobe Illustrator cannot do this automatically, see: [URL] ... (there's another example in the first post), can Corel Draw? I don't have Corel Draw. I am just looking for a program capable of doing it automatically.
if you have something selected and you press the minus key on the numberpad, you get a copy and paste of your selection. Unfrotunatly, I do not see a place to change this ANYWHERE under customization. how this can be turned off?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was having a few issues with shift-constrain resizing not working, and option-drag duplication not working, also using the space bar to move the document around the viewport.
OSX 10.9, InDesign 9.2.1.
I reset the preferences, restarted which failed to solve the problem.However once I updated my Wacom driver from 6.3.3 to the latest 6.3.8-2 that seemed to solve the problem.
I'm using PSE10 on a Win7 (64bit) OS. When I delete a picture (from catalogue and harddrive) the PSE-Organizer tends to jump down several pictures (Haven't been able to determine a fixed number), so I have to go up again and browse through the same pics a couple of times.

I'm trying to layer them all on top of each other.
When I copy one partially transparent GIF and paste it on to the second partially transparent GIF the transparent section turns white and is no longer transparent.
Therefore covering up the contents of the prior GIF.
In short, please have a look at the three attached pictures, I would like to have all three on top of each other showing all buttons.
I cant copy and past pic into another pic after deleting all around pic.

Each "pair of picture" shows the same person on the same background/perspective/settings (using a tripod) -- but with the person on a different position.Now I want to crop these pairs of pictures. Now I am recording my cropping of the first picture as an action and repeat the same step via this action on the second picture.
