I have CS4 and just bought a D7000, realised it won't convert the RAW images to DNG. I have downloaded the latest converter but it is not seeing the images on the SD card or from a folder on the laptop. Have downloaded several times.
View 3 RepliesI downloaded and Installed Adobe DNG Converter because Lightroom 4 would not recognise the .NEF raw files from my Nikon D3200. When I subsequently plugged a card into the reader the PC produced USB sounds repeatedly. I had to shut down the PC in order to safely remove the card from the reader.

tolerance.is there a way to calculate the ratio from pixel to MG to my Max.allowed?

Is there a workaround with a converter for CS5.5? I see there is Camera Raw 8.1 available. From what I have read, it is only for CS6 or CC - forcing me to upgrade? Then, according to some posts, the Camera Raw update 8.1 is buggy and does not work as well as previous versions.

With Elements 12 I click to open the raw file with Elements 12 but Elements opens into the basic editor with no picture opening. I am running MAC OS 10.7.5 with latest PS-CS6 and latest raw converter plug-in 7.1. On-One seems to hi-jack these Sony raw files and won't give me the opportunity for the adjustments that I get with the Adobe Raw File converter.
I used Adobe DNG Converter version 8.3.0.141 to convert .rw2 files created by my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 camera. These files won't transfer into the Organizer and, when trying to open them from the Editor, I get an error message saying the file can't be opened "because it is the wrong type of file".
