Photoshop Elements :: White Displays As Red In Camera Raw Converter
Dec 10, 2013
When I open photos in camera raw converter (whether they're raw or not) all white in the photo shows up as red, then when I'm done editing them in camera raw converter and open them in Photoshop Elements 12, the look normal again with no red instead of white.
What is the approximate usual time from the release date of a new camera (specifically the Sony DSC RX100) and support for the camera by ACR or DNG Converter ?
I have talked with Apple. These files can be brought in to iphoto and then exported. This is not what I want to do. I want to open in Camera Raw. Is there a workaround with a converter for CS5.5? I see there is Camera Raw 8.1 available. From what I have read, it is only for CS6 or CC - forcing me to upgrade? Then, according to some posts, the Camera Raw update 8.1 is buggy and does not work as well as previous versions.
I really don't want to re-install, uninstall, flush cache, look for fixes, etc, etc. Is there a converter or plugin that works with CS5.5?
When I create a new document in AutoCAD, I get a weird gap of space right above my command bar that either displays a duplicate of the command bar or just blank white space. It is as if the comupter does not recognize it as part of the screen. My mouse will jump over the bar and I cannot type or select anything inside it.
I have just bought a Nikon D3300 DSLR. Elements 11 will not open raw files fromthis camera. Where do I find such a converter? My OS is Windows XP Home edition.
recently purchased nikon d7100. after raw files opened in view window of iphoto, could not import these files. i have attached screen shot from iphoto: I have already downloaded the dng converter. How do i get the unreadable file to the converter
I downloaded the 6.6 DNG converter and when I try to open it I get the following message."Error writing temporary file make sure your temporary files is valid. How do I check temp files and install DNG converter profiles?
I have adobe acrobat 9. I had a Pdf converter button on top og the browser that I used to convert web pages to pdf documents. This button disappeared last week. I tried reinstalling the software and tried internet options to make sure third party extensions were checked.
I have upgraded my Elements 9 to Elements 12. I used to be able to open a raw file directly into the raw editor in Elements 9. With Elements 12 I click to open the raw file with Elements 12 but Elements opens into the basic editor with no picture opening. I then have to select Open Camera Raw from the file menu and select the photo again. The photo then opens. Is there a setting i can change so that elements 12 opens directly into the raw editor?
I used Adobe DNG Converter version 8.3.0.141 to convert .rw2 files created by my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 camera. These files won't transfer into the Organizer and, when trying to open them from the Editor, I get an error message saying the file can't be opened "because it is the wrong type of file".
Bought a new Nikon camera: Nikon Coolpix P7700. Try to open this NRW (RAW)-files in PSE7 and PSE10.Got the following message: (Translated from Dutch in English: Cannot open this ...NRW-file because of a wrong file type).I downloaded RAW-type 8B1. NEF-files from my D300 work well. NRW-files open normally in Lightroom.Adobe DNG-converter doesn't regognize the NRW files.
I recently purchased PE 11 and after installing it would not display the photo thumbnails in Organizer. Instead it only displays the broken thumbnail icon. Why is Elements presenting broken thumbnails for all of my photos and how do I fix this? Not sure if this matters but the only other Adobe product I had installed prior was Lightroom 3.6 (reaching for anything here but perhaps catalog incompatability??).
I recently bought a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. An excellent ultrabook with an awsome screen (3200 x 1800).Most software scales just fine with this HighDPI display.
Unfortunately my PSE11 does not. Menus, Fonts, Dialogs, ... are not scaled correctly and so the UI of PSE11 is almost unusable. Menus and dialogs are displayed unscaled and look way too small to be read.
I really can't understand, why Adobe does not fix this! A software like PSE benefits much from HighDPI displays. Just think on editing photos with a screen resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels.will the next version of Photoshop Elements support HighDPI displays correctly?
I am using Photoshop Elements 11, using WIndows 7 Operating System. I have a new camera Canon Rebel T5i, and having problem viewing images in raw format (cr2).Message in PE11, states, "Camera model not supported by installed version of Camera raw."
Canon software views images. Suspect my minimum camera raw plug in version does not support this new camera..I am unable to locate in the software any menu item that allows me to view the camera raw plug in version.
my PSE11 was working fine until i bought a new camera and tried to upload photos from my RAW files. It gave me this message
"Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.Please visit the Camera Raw documentation for additional information."
so i tried to install the update.... installed it fine, kept getting the same message when i would try to open the photo. after researching online i found the suggestion of uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop elements. i did that once, tried the update again...same results. uninstalled again. tried the update again and still getting the same message. ive checked the adobe website and everywhere i look says the version of the camera raw DOES support my camera (nikon D7100).
After an, automatic, update to camera raw 7.3 in Photoshop Elements 11 all Camera Profiles are gone. All that is left is "Matrix". I use Elements 11, windows Vista on a 64-bit machine, my camera is a Nikon D7000.
I used to download photos into the organizer and they would show up in a window that displayed only the current photos being downloaded. I must have done something to change that because now photos go directly to the main organizer window. I have a lot of photos and its getting harder to find them in the mix. how to get that screen back that only displays the newest photos being downloaded at that time?
My file locator displays photos in locations other than the folder selected. The path displayed at the top of the photos is neither the location of the selected folder nor the photos displayed. Is there a way to correct this?
I have just purchased photoshop elements 11. It has been ok for past 10 days or so but now I have a problem when tring to clone. I select the area by alt+click but then what happens is that the whole picture moves and in fact duplicates itself
using the White Balance Tool in Camera RAW.I have sometimes heard that I need to select a naturally white point (as opposed to a specular / highlight point); but I have also heard that I need to select a neutral gray point.
I have a picture of a camera, where I want the camera to remain the block colour that it is (grey), but somehow erase the white-filled background to the image, so that it is transparent.
I will explain I little more by use of pictures...
-looks fine, but when I change background to red;
I just need to get rid of the white in the background of the camera layer!
I'm using PSE8. I was using Filter>Render>Clouds and it was working for me. I must have done something because the clouds that are rendered are black & white not Blue and white. My photo is of course a color image. How I can correct this or what I need to do to get back to the default setting that will render blue & white instead of black and white?
For Nikon D50 cameras Adobe Creative Suite 6 does not read "As Shot" white balance data whether it's specified or not. It defaults to "Automatic". We have the problem only for Nikon D50 and only in Photoshop CS6, Adobe Camera Raw 7.3 and Photoshop Lightroom 4. (Not in CS5. Not for Nikon D5100 or D7000 or Canon S95) .
