Mar 29, 2009Please give me suggest some colors that will blend together well. I am trying to make vector design, with clouds rays and circles. I just don't know what colors should I use.

Photoshop :: White / Black Color Combination - Layer Mask Editing
Oct 9, 2013Sometimes it appears that the white/black color combination that is automatically selected in layer mask editing may override the selected color combination outside of layer mask editing.
Example:
1) Open Photoshop.
2) Select two colors: white/white.
3) Create two blank documents, each with an empty Layer 1.
4) In one document, add a layer mask to Layer 1. The colors should have been automatically switched to black/white as the layer mask is selected.
5) In this document, use the gradient tool to fill the layer mask with black/white.
6) Switch to the other document, and notice that the color selection is again white/white.
7) In this other document, use the gradient tool to fill Layer 1. Notice that the layer is filled with black/white instead of white/white as selected.
Photoshop :: Combination Of Effects On A Picture
Oct 1, 2013I used a combination of effects on a picture and got a great result. I saved the picture. The next day I wanted to put the same effects on a new picture, but I could not remember the effects I used on the first pic. I clicked on many effects in the palette and just couldn't find the same ones as the first pic. I want to use them again.

Jul 18, 2013I currently use a different photo organizer and wish to migrate to PSE11, provided it meets this criteria. I have over 200K images that have already been tagged, and I need granularity in searching for items. I normally search in a cumulative fashion, where each criterion I add further reduces the number of images that meet all the criteria. Does PSE11 have a "meets ALL criteria" option, or rather, does it only display results that "meet ANY criteria" that I may have specified? In other words, the more criteria I add, the less images I should see that are filtered based on ALL the criteria.

Jun 14, 2011When I try to save my project to any kind of DVD format, etc, I get a failure or crash. If I remove the video clip, no problem.
The video clip plays from the thumbnails, but when I Preview the project it does not display.
The video was taken with a phone, in 3gp. Edited using Avidemux (to rotate).

Dec 12, 2013I have 2 alignemnts and 2 profiles, is there a way to to combine both alignment profiles to one profile? What I am doing is moving the centerline of a road over 10 feet, so that is why I have 2 alignments (existing CL and new CL). So what I want to show on one profile is existing centerline, existing centerline of new centerline, and proposed centerline of new centerline.

VideoStudio :: No Combination Of Intermediate Filters Could Be Found
Feb 27, 2012I tried the trial version of VideoStudio Pro X4 without any issue. So I decided to buy it and install the official version from CD. And now, with this version I get the following error message while trying to create a fideo file No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection [17128:1:4]
I checked internet and saw how to troubleshoot the issue. I removed everything and added functionality to the project. It does not matter at all. I always get the error message. Even if I add one video from a cam without changing or adding anything to it. So no filters are used, no nothing.
Settings:
I use "same as project settings"
NTSC non-drop frame [30 fps]
Microsoft AVI files
24 bits, 320x240, 30 fps
Upper Field First
Uncompressed
PCM, 48.000kHz 16 Bit, Stereo
Illustrator :: Keyboard And Mousewheel Combination For Zoom?
Apr 9, 2012I have a problem in Illustrator when navigating around the artboard.
By default, if I want to use zoom function I press Alt key and zoom in or out using the mousewheel. When I am satified with the zoom level I release the Alt button and top navigation is activated. See what I mean in the picture below:
Let's say I have the Type Tool activated and I want to access the Selection Tool by using shortcut the V key. Instead of Selection Tool I get the View drop down menu from the top navigation expanded. Then I have to click away or choose the Selection Tool with the mouse.
This has been bugging me for a while now as it slows the work. Also, I have checked the Preferences trying to change the keyboard and mousewheel combination, but I haven't found it.
Illustrator :: CS5 - How To Set Specific Combination Of Size (in Pixels) And DPI
Jul 27, 2012Is it possible to set specific a combination of size (in pxls) and dpi? (in Illustrator CS5)
I need to create a .png document which is 16x16 px and 96dpi. The ability to chose the dpi size when setting up a new doc is very limited.
The only thing I've managed to do is create a 19x19 px 72dpi image, export it "for web" and then take it into photoshop and change the dpi to 96.
Is there a better, easier way? Also, we're considering upgrading to CS6 - are these features better in CS6?

May 2, 2011So I was oot and aboot yesterday and I took a series of pictures of a drummer in action. It was a rapid series, like five pictures covering five seconds of him rocking out. I want to combine all those five pictures into one ... "master" picture. My idea for the "master" picture is one single picture, where you can see his arm and body movements (and the drum cymbals moving) from all the five pictures.
That's probably a terrible way of describing it, but that's what I want to do.... I tried layering the pictures together as overlays, but while that combined all the images together, the end result was too blurry to make anything out.
Illustrator :: Fine Move Key Combination For Precision Placement?
Jan 21, 2014As I'm trying to arrange objects in the document, when I press the up/down keys to move them precisely, they move at an arbitrary large step.
Now, if I press the shift key while I move them, that step is further increased (like the previous was too small...).
So, is there any other key combination that reduces that step and makes it finer for a more precise placement as in other applications?

Dec 9, 2011I am working on a few dynamic blocks with ducts.The plan is when you stretch the duct to far it will automatically place a coupling and the next peace of duct.
This wasn’t the problem but if I connect more than 2 ducts it goes extremely slow. (see attached file)
I think that if I am using larger steps between stretching (still testing this theory) it will go faster but this goes against my nature of being possible to exactly decide the length on my one.

Oct 5, 2011Im trying to create a material for glass balustrade that will elevate and show outline but not block what is behind. Useful for shr screens (show tiling, taps etc) balustrade for balconies, stairs etc.
I have balustrade I'm working on now using a railing object. There are no posts at all and I'm using dynamic posts with a nothing material to cut up the guardrail material into pieces. So need the posts to disappear but stil cut the glass into sections. Also in elevation, need to see the glass outline but also to show what's behind. Normal glass in elevation rightly blocks what's behind (inside).
There is a problem with how materials operate. You are unable to use an object/material combination as a negative. For e.g. assigning my posts above a material that has 3d body turned off negates it impacting the glass (ie no longer cuts) so I have to 'see' the gaps otherwise the glass goes straight thru. The post has to be directly inline with the glass to cut (fair enough) but turning the 'gap' material 3D body display off and the railing def no longer sees the post cutting the glass just because 3d body is turned off in the material display. (not sure why these have to be linked. If glass has frame (shr screen) then it's ok. just turn off glass but if in the case of glass balustrade you need to be able to do it.
Im thinking maybe using another object rather than railing, like a curtain wall and having a very small width frame using normal glass material that will elevate and another glass material that will disappear.

Nov 11, 2012I need to automatically create all the possible pattern combinations with 6 shapes and 6 colors.
I have an Excell file with assigned color combinations (values from 1 to 6) in the rows, and the shape name (A to F) in the columns. Column 7 is a string containin the color combination names (i.d. 123456, 123345 etc...) so that I can output each combination with the color/numbers in the name.
I'd like Illustrator to pick every row and assign the contained colors to each shape of the column and to export a .png with the name from column 7 content.
Just simple as that! But to me it sounds pretty hard!
Is there a script that makes it already posted somewhere? - i couldn't find any - or something simliar to start coding from?

The problem:In PSE 10, when using the Eyedropper Tool or clicking on the Foreground Color or the Background Color, the Microsoft Microsoft "Color Dialogue Box" pops up instead of the "Adobe Color Picker" dialogue box. This started about a month ago. I use Windows 7.
I want the "Adobe Color Picker" to pop up (like it used to) inside PSE 10.
