Five minutes ago I installed the latest hot fix. Now, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 won't work at all. As soon as I open the program and then try to open a file the system completely shuts down. Everything was working fine until two days ago. Then it wouldn't open the files and said to type in the file name on the command line. When I would do this, it always said file could not be located. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, have an nVidea GTX 570 card, and an AMD Phenom II CPU. I'm hoping I don't have to uninstall and reinstall again.
I've had CS4 web premium since nov. 08 and everything worked fine until the most recent update from adobe. I ONLY have this problem with Photoshop cs4: when creating a new project after selecting the aspects (name, width, hight, etc.) when you press ok it shuts down and no error is given as to why it shut down, it just does. opening documents that had been created prior to the last update isn't a problem, I'm able to do everything Photoshop cs4 has to offer.I can also open a file started in another program and edit them in PS CS4 (ie: fireworks , or AI). but for some reason if I want to start a project in photoshop it just shuts down, never used to happen. running on windows XP
I use Master Collection CS5.5 with all the latest patches on an iMac 27" (mid 2010) with 16 GB Ram, 2.93 GHz Core i7. When I worked in Photoshop, always after 2-4 minutes I got immediately a blank screen and the iMac was powered off. Someone in the thread said, that's always if you work with a resolution of 300 dpi. I remembered, that this was the first time, I used 300dpi, because normally I work only with 72 to 150 dpi. So I opened a new file with 150dpi and I could do the whole work WITHOUT crashes! Â I also think that this is normally a memory problem with bad RAM, but WHY is it only triggered with 300dpi? I will do a Test also with 400dpi so I know, I can only work to 299 dpi, or I can only NOT wort WITH 300dpi.
When I click file automate - photo merge, I get an error message popup saying "Photoshop CS5.1 has stopped working." with options to check on internet for solution or close program. No error codes!  I reloaded my Photoshop to my C: drive about a week ago, but everything else seem to be working as it is supposed to. I have also installed a wacom pro, but I can't see where this would affect it.
I just installed CS4 ExtendeedI'm running Windows XP, SP2, 2.2 GHz, 512 MB of Ram, 55MB free space on hard drive,Anybody know why CS4 keeps shutting down and how I can fix it?
I have installed the new CS4 upgrade, and I have disabled the GPU. I have just upgraded to 2MB of RAM. However, PSD CS4 will suddenly shut down without warning at unpredictable times - yesterday it happened when I zoomed in past 200% - today it happened when I hit Save For Web.
Every time I open an image and make a few adjustments with lighting effects I get a message that Photoshop has stopped working and after Windows checks to find out why (and can't correct the problem) Photoshop shuts down. I'm using 64-bit CS6 on a new Windows Ultimate computer.
Photoshop CC shuts down immediately after it´s started. There no different if i start it from Lightroom or direct. I just install PS cc and lightroom i have a windows 7 laptop.
I can import photos from Bridge and edit and run actions, but as soon as I hit the Type tool, photoshop shuts down. When I open it back up, it has reverted back to original format and no settings are saved, actions loaded, etc. This error also occurs when importing previously made .psd files.
Photoshop CS6 shuts downs when using the move tool. It seem as to run fine until i try and use the move tool. PS worked fine just a few weeks ago and now it has this issue. What can i do to resole this issue? Â -- System Specs Windows XP Home SP3 AMD Atholon 64 X2 Dual 2GB RAM Video Cards Radeon 7200 NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS
I'm running Photoshop CS5 on a PC with Windows XP pro, Core 2 Duo E4400@2GB, 4GB DDR2 RAM, MSI MS7350 Mainboard, ATI Radion X1050 Graphics card, 1 Analog LCD screen and one digital. I'm using an empty 1TB drive for a scratch disk.  My Photoshop CS5 runs flawlessly UNTIL I try to batch-process anything. If I go to File>Automate>Photomerge, no problem, but when I go to File>Automate>Batch, the second I hit Batch, I get an error message telling me that Windows has to shut down Photoshop. I never had this problem with CS4, which I never deleted and have to use when batching.
I have a MacBook Pro OSX, 10.6.8. Got it checked out and I have plenty of memory, so it seems the software's the problem. It's been running without incident for over a year but now this problem. The screen goes black (and keyboard goes backlit) after about 2 seconds of use of the lasso tool; sometimes the selection tool; and also the text tool.
I just shot a wedding and need to be editing ASAP. I turned on PhotoShop CS2 and after loading it gives me the error message saying somehting to the effect of "Your username, login, organization, or serial key is missing or invalid. Photoshop must shut down". My copy is registered, and I have the loging info and serial , but I cannot do anything at all in the program. It doesn't give an option to re-enter my info. It just shuts itself down.
I created a multi layer image in photoshop. I wanted to add some text, i do but when I start tying to customize it (color, size, font style) it shuts down and closes the image Im working on. I recently downloaded a couple of new fonts, however those are not the ones I was using.
I have CS2, windows, image is on external hard drive.
Each time that I go into my Photoshop Elements 8 it causes a physical dump and shuts down. I have only used this program a few times although I have had it a few years. The first couple of times it worked fine; but now, it shuts me down each time. I have already tried uninstall and reinstall.Â
The only place I've had the problem is when trying to edit an album. After it stops working, elements 11 just shuts down.  Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate.Â
when attempting to print images from elements 11 from the organisor to my cannon 4900 printer the print dialogue failes to create a preview image and then automatically closes the application. seems to happen when i try and print an image that i have printed previously.
I have version 11 of PSE and it has been operating great with one exception. Whenever I attempt to do a full back-up it goes through the regular process including reconnecting missing data but then at the end when it should start backing-up it stops responding.
I have Windows 7, Photoshop Elements 9. It was working finw for years, and suddenly when I click the text Tool the program shuts down. I even re-intall the program and the problem persist.
The photoshop elements starts opening then the message appear: 'The application has requested the runtime to terminate in on unusal way' and the photoshop elements shuts down
PSE 10 becomes unstable shortly after start up, per Win 7 system does not respond and win 7 shuts it down. I have removed and reloaded problem occurs more rapidly.
In trying to produce out an .mp4 file (H.264, 5000 data rate, 30fps frame-based, 1280x720) at some point in the file creation, usually around 70%, the screen goes black, I have no keyboard or mouse response and the only sign of life is the blue light on the CPU. The only way out is a hard shutdown and reboot. Needless to say nothing gets produced out.
I am in the middle of doing a video for my father in laws 70th , And have hit a problem every time i import or add a video to vs x2 it shuts down , its fine with photos , Soon as i add video it shuts down i thought maybe it was a codec problem and installed k-lite full pack but still no change.
when trying to download movie from Sony camcorder everything appears fine until Video Studio program stops camcorder on its own and displays unknown error. This sometimes happens after 30, 40 even 50 minutes, but I have yet to be able to download entire 60 minute tape to computer. I am trying to convert Digital 8 movies to DVD.
