How do you create a watermark in Paintshop pro x3 that you can use over and over for multiple photos? I've read some articles out there but it seems it's just specific to a photo itself, is there a way to create one and which settings should be used so once it gets added to a photo, it's seamless. I am trying to create a visible watermark to apply to pictures. How to create one to use in Paintshop Pro X4 Ultimate? I know how to apply one but I'm uncertain on how to make the actual watermark.

I am trying to find a way to watermark my photos using text for uploading to the net to try and prevent image theft. Canon Zoom Browser adds text but only 1 pic at a time.
I have searched this forum without success and searched the internet without success except for Alamoon which does one pic at a time ok but to do in batches requires you upgrade at a cost of about half the price of upgrading to PSP x5.
I read a comment by a subscriber here dated 2010 referring to PSP x3 but it said that after going to Image->Watermarking->Visible Watermark, you have to load a "pre-made image ..." Where do you get this pre-made image from ? Remember, I only want to add a couple of words of text. Surely this is not beyond the capabilities of Corel? Alamoon does it very easily. It doesn't take numerous windows and dozens of clicks with multiple layers to negotiate etc.

I would like to gather some photos from different files in a new tray so I can manipulate these photos together. I have tried to figure this out and I think I have done it before. But for whatever reason now I cannot use the add tray button nor can I do it on the organizer button at the upper left corner of the tray. When I click on more options none of the tray buttons are highlighted, so I cannot get it to create or delete or rename a tray.

I am trying to create a linen background. I succeed in creating the first layer and lines run horizontally. I create a 2nd layer and what should happen is I recreate the original block and then rotate ONLY the 2nd layer so it is verticle lines. Then I would do an overlay mode on the 2nd layer so that it appears to have a linen appearance. However, when I am working on the 2nd layer and rotate it (and single layer only is checked) both layers rotate to the same direction. how to actually rotate only one image on a separate layer?

I have lots of vector text objects to add to my graphics. When I add a vector text object by default "Stroke" is selected and the "Fill" color is set to the current background color selected in the Materials palette. Is there a way to change this so that by default "Stroke" is cleared and the fill color is always black regardless of the current background color selection?

I have had a Corel account for several years. I bought, downloaded, and installed PSP X6 Ultimate several days ago. When I first loaded it, a window appeared asking me to register for a "Corel PaintShop Pro X6 Membership" (Standard), or to login under my existing account. However after I fill in the blanks for either new or existing membership and click the button, nothing happens...absolutely nothing. Then a smaller window opens that asks me to sign in (or if I'm not a member, offers an opportunity to learn more about PSP X6 Membership). When I fill in those blanks and click the button, I'm notified that I am not a member, so I click the link to learn more about PSP X6 Membership and am directed back to the window that doesn't do anything.

There was a video that showed you how to create the mirror effect that USED to be the "flip" for PSP. The video I am referring to, it showed how to do it as a script, and then customize it with a shortkey, and finally, it showed you how to add it to the menu (I had it under "Images", just above Flip Horizontally, Flip Vertically).

PaintShop Pro x6 - recently switched from Adobe Photoshop
Every time I add a border [image|add borders] all my layers merge. How can I add a border and preserve my layers so I can save as a pspimage file.
In Photoshop I could add a border to the background and call it a day. Can I do something similiar with PaintShop?

I have 105 files that I would like to compress down. I have searched these forums but didn't find any threads related to my inquiry.When I create a script to compress to 96dpi there are weird color/light artifacts in the resulting pics. When I do the "save for office" function the pics get even smaller with no artifacts.
1. what settings does the "save for office" compressor use so that I can recreate thru other means
AND/OR
2. how do i create a batch process script using the "save for office" menu item?

I have a rectangular screen grab (Windows application) that I would like to simply round the corners and add a border. The image is not a photograph, but since I have Paint Shop Pro X3 and like how it works, I thought I would try it . I have spent some time trying to do this with Paint Shop Pro X3 with no luck. None of the pre-defined frames seemed to do what I need. I would also like to create a drop-shadow behind the image. how to do this or a video that I can watch. A list of steps would also be OK.

Im trying to create a watermark action set. I have my watermark made and set to 30% for this particular set of images. When I paste the watermark on an image it comes into the new image at 100%. How do I get the opacity to remain consistant from document to document?
