Lightroom :: Click To Show Presets Folder
Sep 3, 2013Whenever I click to show the presets folder in Lightroom 5.2 Beta preferences it wants to launch Path Finder to show me the files. I no longer own a current license for PathFinder and want Lightroom to use the normal Finder application. I do not have Path Finder even installed any longer and so clicking the button does nothing at all.

May 20, 2013I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. Nov 17, 2012I have recenty had to reinstall all my software, and manged to find most of my old Lightroom settings in the Lightroom Presets folder (inside the Appdata folder on a PC) but I seem to have lost my custom tone curves.
Do you know which folder they should be in (indise the Lightroom Presets folder)

It is possible to do the same using Xara designer pro 5 in three clics ?I think that Xara designer pro 5 is more powerfull than Illustrator, but I don't know how to do the same in three clic.
Photoshop :: Unable To Double-click Or Drag / Drop Files To Open?
Sep 4, 2013I'm running Photoshop CC 64 on a Windows 7 64 machine and am only able to open files in Photoshop by going to File->Open. Double-clicking from Explorer doesn't work and i can not drag/drop files into the open application window or taskbar icon. Right clicking on files and selecting "Open with" also doesn't work.
I checked file associations and made sure to choose CC 64. If I right click on the shortcut and choose "Run As Administrator" which I have to do in order to get files to open between Lightroom and Photoshop (both need to be Run As Administrator), I'm still unable to open from Windows Explorer. However, if I check the box to "Run this program as administrator" in the shortcut's Compatibility tab, I can double-click to open from Explorer but am prompted with a UAC warning every time. Dragging/dropping into the open app still doesn't work.
Opening between Bridge and PS works as expected so long as both programs are "Run As Administrator"
Photoshop :: Unable To Click Drop-down Lists In Curves Adjustment Layer
May 20, 2012Odd behavior in released x64 version of CS6 for Windows: on my laptop (ASUS G73S with 1.5 gb nVidia GeForce video), when I crop an image, the drop-down menus in a curves adjustment layer become unclickable.
But I can still access the RGB channels using the Alt + 3, 4 and 5 shortcuts. This behavior doesn't occur on my workstation, and if I don't crop the image, the drop-down menus work fine. I have the crop tool set to delete pixels. Also, if I apply curves directly (not with an adjustment layer), the dialog box works OK. And the other adjustment layers seem to be working, too. It's only the curves layer that's doing this.

Nov 6, 2011Having a problem with Paste and Paste as Block in the right mouse click drop down window.
In the right Mouse click drop down window the Paste, Paste as Block and the Paste to Original Coordinates are grayed out.
The copy with Base Point works, as does the Ctrl+V and Ctrl+Shift+V and repeat Paste Block from the recent Input drop down selection. Why the paste commands are grayed out?
Photoshop Elements :: Print / Page Setup / Presets / Show Presets Box Freezes
May 8, 2013When trying to print in Elements 11, after clicking "Print/Page Setup/Presets/Show Presets", the box freezes. Clicking Cancel or OK does not work. I then have to Force Quit Elements to clear it. Apple say that it is a problem with Elements. Using the same procedure in other applications, clicking Cancel or OK does work.

Dec 14, 2013i upgraded to LR 5.3 this morning, using the Store Presets with this catalog option, as well as the Upgrade wizard. When LR5.3 opened at the end of the process, all of my Import, Export, or Develop presets were gone. all of those folders are empty (for example C:UsersmePicturesLightroomLightroom SettingsDevelop PresetsUser Presets shows "This folder is empty"), and when i open LR 4.4 (the previous install), the presets are gone as well.

I downloaded LR3 onto my new computer but need to somehow get Ithe presets I created off of my old computer and onto my new one. Sep 26, 2012I recently upgraded from LR3 to LR4, and on a different computer (Mac to PC/Windows 7) so I have a feeling I'll be here a lot.
I have transferred everything over to the new computer, and have "installed" the purchased Presets in question (Kevin Kubota Vintage Delish). As far as I can tell, the installation went smoothly and successful, however, when I run LR4, there are still no Presets to choose from.

Jan 20, 2013I purchased Lightroom 3 as a download last year, and I've had constant issues with it ever since. Problems include the following:
-On startup, it says my camera profiles are missing, and to reinstall Lightroom to fix the issue. Of course, reinstalling Lightroom does nothing.
-It deletes all my presets - metadata presets, stored watermarks, developing presets, and export settings. There seems to be no trigger or particular frequency for this.
-Every 30 days, it says that my trial of Lightroom has expired, and to enter my serial number to continue. When I enter my serial number, it gives me the same message again in another 30 days. This has continued to happen even after uninstalling Lightroom, reinstalling, and entering my serial number immediately.
I'm getting more and more frustrated, and the previous solution I've been given ("Try reinstalling the program") has fixed nothing. Sure, it still works, but every time I have to re-enter all my presets.

Lightroom :: All Presets Gone After Update From 3.4.1 To 3.5
Nov 16, 2011Just updated LR 3.4.1 on a Man to 3.5. After I put the LR.app inti the App-Folder and started LR all of my presets were deleted.
They were saved in the /user/library/application support/etc. folder before and now they're gone (unfortunately I didn't saved my presets within the catalog)
I'm very annoyed about this because I have changed 12 export presets some days ago and haven't ran time machine after it.
I wasn't aware, that an update LR will kill my presets. Is there any way to get them back?

Sep 26, 2013I have a shoot next week that I want to use tethering from my Nikon to LR. Is there a way to get one of the camera profiles and the lens profile to be automatically assigned as I shoot and LR imports?
This will get me close enough for the client to preview.
