View 3 RepliesI am diggin' deeper and deeper into Professional Photography and am now using two Macs two develop my my .DNG RAWs.
In my Livingroom stands a 27" iMac, which is great to develop them further, and when I am on the road I am using a 15" MacBook Pro.
Thing is: the iMac has a Library of roughly 40.000 Pictures, the MacBook Pro is mostly used when I am not home for editing. Is there any way I can sync my Librarys via Ethernet to each other? That way I wouldn't need to re-edit my shots again on my iMac, or export my whole catalogue and push them around via my own network...
I read it might be the Creative Cloud app language - I use Hungarian but tried to change it to English, no improvement.
I also read it might be system requirements - here's what I have, should be O.K.:
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit, fully patchedCPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300RAM: 8 GBDisk: 120 GB free on system diskGPU: ATI Radeon HD 3600, DirectX 11
no matter what i try, Creative Cloud pops up and has the list of apps but lightroom 5 is nowhere to be found. i just bought Photoshop CC, and Lightroom 5. I had the trail for photoshop cc, and i believe i have the full version of it now. but light room 5 isn't even listed as an app.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just signed up for the monthly membership to CC and downloaded LR and PS, both downloaded ok. PS is working but when I went to register the LR I get finished and it gives the error "assertion failed".
I have used LR 3 on this computer, but a few months ago it stopped working and I had my son uninstall it from this computer, so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Why can´t I publish pictures from Lightroom to Creative Cloud with LR Publish Services? The only reason I bought a Creative Cloud membership was because I assumed it would work seamlessly with Lightroom publish Services..

View 2 Replies View RelatedLIGHTROOM 3.3 REINSTALLATION PROBLEM. I had an operating system problem with my pc. A friend took an image of my disc. I have the computer running again now but I dont have any of my Loghtroom edits. I was advised to get a .lrc (or something) file but that only had a copy of the very first backup that I did. I didn't backup using the Lightroom backup that pops up when closing te program. How can I retrieve all my edits, it amounts to many, many hundreds of hours work?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was on the Adobe website, when I saw this Black Friday deal for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5..Upon clicking Join now, I got to the following page : From this page, I then read both the FAQ and the terms. The FAQ said the following :
So in everything I read regarding this deal, there was nothing stating that I had to be a previous owner of CS3 or above. So I placed the order with my credit card for the monthly subscription. When I received my order email (in french), the product says the following :
Votre commande en détail : Programme de photographie Photoshop (Pour les clients CS3 et versions ultérieures)
In effect, this is suggesting that it’s for clients that already had CS3 and above. My plan on the creative cloud adobe website also suggests the same. The only time I was made aware of this need to already own CS3 or above was after I placed the order.
As a result, I am not able to download Photoshop CC or Lightroom 5 from within the Creative Cloud client.I think due to this mis-information on the Adobe website as shown above, I should still be entitled to this offer.I will contact Adobe sales support to see what they can do.
Putting a Lightroom catalog in the Creative Cloud folder to use for multiple computers? It seems like it should work well for photographers who are on the road a lot and would like to avoid merging catalogs after each trip.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI received an e-mail from the Adobe, that I can sync over 700 Fonts From Type kit which can be downloaded to the computer.
If I add all these Fonts Into my computer Is that going to slow down my computer ?
So I just tried to sync my presets to the Cloud, and now all of my presets are gone. They are also gone from the folder on my hard drive. It appears the "sync" decided that what was on the cloud was the "current" state which I assume is the default set that is installed with PS CC. I can get most of them back because they are still in my CS6 folder, but the syncing thing would really be nice since I work on two different machines. preferences seems correct and it's set to always ask when there are conflicts.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I have decided to use the 'sync settings online' however now when I try to open 13 or 14 stall on opening the only way I can get round it is by opening windows task manager and ending the 'acSettingSync.exe' and the 'acCloudManager.exe'. This doesn't work everytime but 75% of the time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it still possible to get CS6 without Creative Cloud? I have CS4 and was going to upgrade to CS6, but then it changed to a subscription basis. As a nonprofessional, passionate hobbyist who gets no income from his photography I can't afford to pay the monthly costs of CS6 Creative Cloud. Or will I have to switch a competing photo program, which admittedly won't be as good?

View 1 Replies View RelatedDue to security reasons, I tried to enter my Photoshop CC through creative cloud and it prompt me to change my Password. Unfortunately since changed carriers from ATT to Comcast, my ATT email no longer exists therefore, when they sent the instructions to make the change I just couldn't retrieve it.
I always get the infamous phrase that another group responsible for the change will get in touch with in the next 24 to 48 hours. Well... it's been two weeks now.
Would this processor be sufficient?

I'm already subscribed to CC for CS6, but can't get Extended to use the 3D aspect.
