View 4 RepliesI run an online store and each product has a pic.
I have taken a picture of my new product which shows basically the floor as a background- put the product on the floor then took a pic.
I need to take the product pic and put it onto a bright white background-that's it.

I have product shots that require me to get a perfect white background whilst retaining the hair outline of the product. I have look at curves and levels but can't seem to get the right masking or layers that keeps the products properties. The main problem i think is because the product itself is a light colour against a background of what should be white.
View 7 Replies View Relatedsee the same image is used in all color variations of this product. I would imagine they shot something with contrasting dual colors since it would be harder to mask the solid white or black but my question is how do they change the color from black to white or visa versa without loosing any shadow integrity in the process?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhat I need to do is find an easy way to remove the white spacing around an item and have the item displayed tight to the edges.
For example: I need a quick and easy way to turn this into this
With the intention of then being able to resize the image to the exact dimensions I require before then resizing the canvas size to create the exact amount of white spacing between the tops and bottom of the image.
I recently decided to use LR to catalog all my images (instead of Bridge). I love that PNG is now supported. Ran into one problem...all the snowflake and white frame images are viewed as a white rectangle due to the background white. I know Preview and other "viewers" don't have this issue. ACDSee has a setting to change the background. Can I do this in LR5? If not, is there a link where I can submit for a product enhancement to the Product Management team for a future release of LR?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe instructions say <<< In the Background panel, select the Background Color option and click the color swatch to choose the color. >>> But I can't seem to find any way of changing the background colour from the default, white. ! (I want black.)
View 9 Replies View RelatedTo update serial number it's in the abot dialog box. But how about product key? Is there a way to change it without reinstalling the product?
Situation: Autodesk Revit MEP Suite 2013 to Autocad MEP 2013.
I had subsctibed to the single program verion of CC early last year and purchased LR5 as soon as it was available, long before the Photography Bundle was introduced. Now I have no need for LR5 licence. Is there a way to unregister the program and have everything under CC? I have no need to install on 4 machines. Possibly transfer the LR licence?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am shooting Infrared pictures and I already missed the channel mix function in LR3. Now I saw in the video of LR4 Beta that now the channels can be modified individually but I miss a channel mix function.
Is it possible with LR4 to flip red and blue channel, like it is needed for color Infraed photography, or do I still need to work with PS or PSE ?
Thought I might upgrade my PS to CC under the discount for existing owners scheme However, it won't accept that I have a suitible product despite having CS5 on my system. It is not on my products list. Six others are just not my PS products.
Put in serial number - says it is already registered - I know that - just not associated with me I guess. Deactived PS and tried again - same.
I would like to draw parts in 3d view which look very basic, i.e. out of a book.
Example:
white block with black lines so you can see it is 3d.background should also be white.
How do i set autocad (2012/2013) to do this. I would like the model space to be the same and not just for printing.
I am using a pdf underlay to trace over and whenever the crosshair or pickbox enters a white area it does not shift color to black to remain visible. This leaves me picking randomly trying to guess where the crosshair or pickbox is. If I change the 3dconfig to disable hardware acceleration, the color shifts, but the pdf is whited out. Not to mention the fact that by disabling hardware acceleration, I'm wasting the expensive video card on the machine. Is there a workaround? updated driver? service pack?
View 4 Replies View RelatedOkay so I'm trying to take the white background off of a picture using the select a color on white, but it takes out a lot or the fur and eyes(it's a picture of a cartoon cat) How can I remove the areas of can from the selection without removing the pieces of cat too.
It's creative commons, so I guess I can post screen shots...
The cat is from [URL]...
A general idea of the selected area
What happens when I take out the selected area
So how can I take the pieces of the cat out of the selected area so when I try to delete the background I don't get an invisible cat?
I created a logo and then opened it as a layer so that I can make a website header image. It is shown here [URL] and as you can see the background is an off-white colour. It is probably unnoticeable to many, but I would prefer to get it right. How can I make the background a pure white so that it blends in with the white of the wordpress theme?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI seem to be having problems when I lasso round a specific part of a photo taken with a white background and then try to add that part of the image to a plain #000000 black background.
I always seem to get a white outline around the image when I place it on the black background, even when its on ZERO feathered. I don't like using feathered as it adds a smudge round the outside of the image.
I have some text documents in PDF format and would like to edit it in photoshop CS5, but each time I open them up in photoshop, the background seems to be transparent (tiny grey and white tiles), which is very eye tiring when editing/annotating with a wacom pen, how to fill the background total white?
View 2 Replies View RelatedTake a look at the attached photo - on the left is a black and white photo I exported out of photoshop after desaturation but opened in pictire viewer. On the right is the same photo as viewed in photoshop - again after desatuation to convert to black and white. My monitor is calibrated and photos opened in picture viewer or other simple programs look correct - but in lightroom or photoshop they have a tint. How do I remove this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop CS4 on a new ultrabook running Windows 8. My video card is up to date. However, on this computer I cannot get the background to show up white. View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open my company's logo (an EPS file) in Photoshop, it has a transparent background (the "checkered" one), which I DO want. But then when I Select All/Copy/Paste Special into my Word documents, it comes over with a white background. I do not want this, especially because the Word document has a gray background. So what happens is, the logo looks like it has a white box around it. HOW do I copy and paste this EPS file into Word so that the background stays transparent??
View 9 Replies View RelatedCreated test image on a white background. Saved it as a png file. I go to Layer...Transparency....Add Alpha Channel.
I then click fuzzy select tool and click in the white area of the image then hit delete to remove the white background. When I re-save the image, I get the image on a checkered background.
Got the instructions from here: [URL] ........
Seems to work with downloaded/created by someone else images but not with images I create myself.
How do I make this background white (I think that's what needs to be done). When I post on a webiste the background is black or dark and you can't see the image.
