View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to get working tethering mode in LR4 with my Canon 7D and I have "No Camera Detected" in control panel of tethering capture and BUSY indicator is ON on my camera. It works just fine using EOS Utility: I can do shots, change camera settings and so on but I really want this feature inside of LR because of variety of features of LR.
System info from LR is:
Lightroom version: 4.3 [865747]
Operating system: (Build 9200)
Version: 6.2 [9200]
Application architecture: x64
System architecture: x64

Why my Lightroom (4.3) won't recognize the file type of my Canon 5D Mark iii ? I am also a Mac user.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy Lightroom 3.6 doesn't recognize *.NEF files, which hasn't previously been a problem. Software is up-to-date. New Nikon 800E took the pictures.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using Lightroom 4 for over a year now to process NEF files straight from my memory card. For some reason, LR has stopped recognizing my NEF files. The only change was that I upgraded to 4.4 recently. I did find a free adobe program that converts NEF to DNG files, but it's an extra step I don't want to have to mess around with if I don't have to.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my Lightroom 3.6 no longer recognizes .RAF files from my X100s.
For some weird reason, raw files from my older X100 are recognizable.
Everything seems up to date.

I just picked up a Canon D6 today, and LR 4.2 will not recognize or import the CR2 raw files.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use pse9. I have been shooting with a canon T3i in raw, cr2 mode and uploading to and editing with pse9 just fine. I recently upgraded to a canon 70D and pse9 does not recognize raw cr2 files. It says they are the wrong file type.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have LR 4.2 and using Lion with a MBP. I recently got gps4cam for my iphone to record gps coordinates.
Unfortunately i imported all the pix of my vacation to LR instead of importing them with the gp24cam app first
So Now i have the xmp files with gps coordinates in a separate file for each photo, but LR even though ca see that file, does not import any of the info on it
Is there a way to force LR to read and recognize those gps coordinates without having to delete all the pix of my vacation from LR, and re-import them to my mac before with the gps4cam app and afterwards import em in LR.?
I mean i cant believe there is not way to do that... y LR can read and recognize gps coordinates if are on a picture, but cant recognize and attach those same coordinate to the original fine if they are in a separate xmp file?
I have LR 3.6 and it will not recognize raw files from my Nikon DC7100, what do I need to do and how do I do it?

Is there a way to get lightroom 3.3 to recognize importing video files with a 3gp extension? These videos do not show up during the import process. This is the format on most of the HTC Android phones. It would be nice to be able to import these videos along with the jpg pictures.

View 2 Replies View RelatedInstalled Lightroom 4.2 to read NEF files from a Nikon D600 and it says preview unavailable and it does not recognize the files..on a PC with windows 7..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to figure this out for over a week since I got my D800 and am not making any progress. I am using LightRoom 4.1 and Adobe Camera Raw 7.1 on a Mac OS X v10.6.8.
I read that I need ACR 6.7 in order to recognize the D800 NEF files, but I don't know how to remove 7.1. I tried deleting ACR from my .library folder and reinstalling 6.7 but it still says it's 7.1 when I open up LR4.1 again. Also, I only have Photoshop CS5 and I read that 7.1 supports the D800 NEF files in CS6 only.
On a probably unrelated note, I bought the educational version of LR4 and when I go back to my email that contained the download link, it shows a blank page on "My Orders" even though I've purchased this and other educational versions from Adobe in the last few years. I got the LR4.1 download file and reinstalled after removing the release candidate I was checking out, but wasn't prompted for my registration code that was in my purchase email.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to do some work with CR2 raw files from my 30D and the RAW files appear approx 1.33 stops underexposed in Lightroom 3.6.
I have compared with the camera jpg in LR3.6, the camera jpg and CR2 in canon DPP software / Breeze Browser Pro / Picasa.
In Develop > Set default settings ...I see it recognises that it is a canon 30D
i have been able to import and move a file of jpegs but as I shoot jpeg/raw combo, the raw files were left behind in the original file. I can now bring them up, but they are dim and cannot appear to do anything w/them. I would like to move them to the file where I put the accompanying jpegs, but am having no success in finding an answer on how to do this. Nothing seems to activite to let me do this. Along w/this, I generally tend to work straight from camera raw files, the jpegs are generally not used, thus when LR encourages me to work on the jpegs, I'm not interested. I wish to process my raw files and only move to PS6 if I need to do some more intensive work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSystem: OSX 10.6.8, mac pro, 8 core, 8 GB ram, multiple 1 TB drives, 6 monitors.
So I found the ad on Adobe that said that the 6D was supported in Lightroom 4.3, and the Lightroom page said that it would work on OSX 10.6.8. So I bought it.
Upon installing it, I find that it cannot see (does not show) 6D RAW files when IMPORT is pressed. It shows JPEGS if I have them in the camera, and it knows the camera is there in the import dialog -- shows its name -- but no RAW files.
I checked for updates to Lightroom 4.3, it says there are none, I'm "up to date."
DPP sees the RAW files fine and imports them. So the USB connection, etc., is working.
I'm sure I'm missing something, and I really need RAW files, not JPEGs.
I use a fully registered Lightroom 5.3 with my Canon 5D Mark III, and I have this kind of corruption on some of my CR2 files from times to times. If i reimport the .cr2 file in another catalog or even on another the resulting file is still corrupted.
The wierdest thing is that the original import was successful and I successfully exported it several times correctly. The corruption should have happens afterward:
This is absolutely inacceptable from a professional software.
PS: I had this kind of curruption with an old version of Lightroom with my previous pentax K7d, but I though this was past
When I try to import my raw files to lightroom 5 and convert to DNG i get a message that says: "Could not copy files to requested location." and "Files could not be written" I tried converting the files to dng using Adobe DNG converter then importing them to lightroom but they still won't work. Photoshop CS6 and Camera Raw both read the files fine. I just prefer to use Lightroom.

View 2 Replies View RelatedImporting .cr2 files from a Canon 60d into Lightroom 4, or any other version of LR? I've been trying for quite a while, and while the video files show up for import, the raw files do not. 0 files listed. I'm simply trying to use the Import button in the Library, and selecting the 60d camera from the list while it is USB connected to my machine.
Details:
Lightroom version: 4.0 [814577] (Adobe Camera Raw 7 installed also)
Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate Edition
Also have the entire Adobe Master Collection CS5 installed (and fully updated as of this AM). Memory card was formatted in the camera itself. Canon's DPP has no trouble importing the files via the EOS Utility, and I see the camera/SD card in Windows Explorer as a drive letter, so I know it's recognized.
Camera is fully firmware updated (1.10).
